Rich4god: I don't know why Christians are trying to be showing holy holy this period. The Bible clearly stated that we should submit to authority. How difficult is that. Those of you claiming that the Muslims are allowed to pray, so because a non believe disobey order it's now ok for believers to disobey too. Since the emergence of the first index case, the Catholic bishops have already sent out letters to churches on the issue of lockdown. States with cases no longer attend mass. Only the priest celebrates mass in church with the congregation following on TV. But States without cases, like most northern states, the congregation attends mass but with strict compliance to social distancing and hygiene. If there should be an outbreak as a result of this negligence, bishop chukwuma will be at home with his house fully stocked while the citizens suffers leaving the govt to be running helter skelter.
Even the Catholic in the state is on lock down. Enugu state government did not include churches in the lock down |

The reason we continue to hear of this type of embarrassment is because we do not take discipline serious in our public schools. You cannot ban corporal punishment in schools and expect to see positive character in the life of a Nigerian child. When we begin to take suspensions and expulsions serious, we wouldn't have this type of mess. |

Scientists still argue and are yet to agree on when personhood begins
But one thing is known,an 'embryo' is not an individual.
If you say that abortion is murder, that means you are also saying that every woman who has a spontaneous miscarriage is guilty of manslaughter. Afterall, thou shall not kill Funmi, you understand me. Miscarriage is not deliberate. Abortion is. |

funmisticqueen: No, you just could not prove your point The science of embryology states that from the moment of conception, a human being is formed. The DNA it has is not only human DNA but the DNA of an individual distinct from that of either parent. In forensic criminology DNA is used to distinguish one person from another. So the DNA of an embryo indicates that the embryo is a person. So I just copied this. |

In that case, you should not take drugs to treat malaria, because the malaria parasite is a life, you deny it the opportunity to live, aspire, grow and reproduce. Every piece of meat you eat is an act of murder because you partake in snuffing out a life. All lives are precious. You understand that by life, I mean human life. Took them to station meanwhile their love ones gathered around the station in other to secure there release but the best the officers could do is to spray tear gas on people which majority of them are aged/old men and women who can not even run, many of our old men and women collapsed. evansjeff: Nairalanders Help Me Thank God. I Just Got A Job
Just for the sake of people like me that hates reading long stories, I will make this as short as possible.
I graduated since 2013 and no job, was just managing petty private jobs. In 2015 I decided to further my studies but then I told God He must give me a job before I finish my Masters programme, else the frustration will be unbearable.
2016 was the key year for me. All my applications that hitherto got zero replies began to get replies. I initially got N-Power but I told God this was just a temporary job for only 2 years and that he must give me a permanent job before the expiration of the 2 years contract.
So it was. I applied for the FCSC job opening that same year, in 2017, I was invited to come to Abuja for interview, I've never been to Abuja before, many friends discouraged me, telling me I was just going to waste my transport since I knew no senator or minister or any body in government. But that didn't discourage me. I went.
To cut it short, After several processes, I was invited to come for my appointment letter in 2017, got my posting letter in 2018 and today, I am a permanent staff of the Federal Ministry of Education.
God has been so faithful to me. To Him be all the glory. I can relate. God also did it for me with my 2.2 without knowing anybody. Sometimes when I think of God's goodness, I feel like shouting praises to Him |

Chikpat: Who remembers guys like Muritala Mohamed, Ernest Shonekon were heads of state in Nigeria? What kind of SP was he? Very scandalous and yet lacked the honour to resign and preserve the sanctity of his office and the national assembly institution.
It depends on your ideology. I dont think a scandalous SP like Saraki is better than a 5 term senator that is worth his onions My dear, whether we like it or not, our kids and generations to come will study about them in current affairs. Every child that knows what he's doing in school can say one or two things about those you mentioned up there. Same with Senate Presidents. Give me that seat for four years, I prefer that to being a senator for twenty |

Chikpat: Serves him right. He is a victim of his own misadventure. Had Saraki not become senate president by gestapo, he would not have had the rough moments that led to his defection to PDP and now, his inglorious defeat.
If he was just, a senator, he would have remained in APC and he would have won this election. Greedy Oloye And his name wouldn't be in the annals of this country as a former President of the Senate. I'd rather be SP for one term than be in the Senate for five terms |
