It is said that evil communication corrupts good manners nd this is a way of killing ones spiritual life
2) Staying away from mass/service:
Some christians will stay at home on sundays nd do irrelevant things instead of going to the church to hear the word of God and they claim to be true christians
3) The kind of music you listen to:
Some people will leave the church after service only for them to start singing worldly songs. Most youths of nowadays don't even listen to gospel musics. They prefer wizkid, 2face etc. And the worst part of it is that they feel it doesn't affect their christian life
4) Watching of pornography:
Pornography is one of the fastest way of killing ones spiritual life. I was in a church one day and the pastor said anyone who has porn on his/her phone should delete it there in the church or else the person won't get home safely and to my greatest surprise people started bring out there phones, some even pretend as if a text just got in.
5) Sins:
This is the easiest way of killing ones spiritual life.
6) Lack of prayer:
A prayerful christian if a powerful christian, if you don't pray always, then the devil has upper hand in your spiritual life. And all what he does is to kill, steal and destroy.
Feel free to add yours if u have any.
we african's we av turn dis christainity n 2 sumtin else, we say tins dat we Rr nt supose 2 say. So... Listenin to 2face song's or wizkid corrupt d mind? Well GOD kw's d best 4 us all.

CyracksMrBlogger: I think a presidential debate between Gen. M. Buhari and President G. Jonathan before 2015 will help us know who has offered or got something to offer for the country Nigeria if voted in. It will also help us vote for the right person to rule us come 2015. What do y'all think?
Now, I want to throw the question back out there to the very people that are wearing the shoes (and know how and where it pinches):
Guys, how does it feel dating a girl taller than you?
Among the plethora of illegitimate stereotypes (e.g "short guys" are wicked...they have their hearts on their back..blah, blah) and legitimate reasons, the one I hear ladies complain bitterly about is the fact that they have to avoid wearing heels to events and all when they are with their "short guys".
Guys, have you ever had to have your lady go on flats to that evening event, so as to make up for height differentials? How did it feel like? Do you mind the height difference? Do you feel shy, okay, or proud holding your lady to that party, knowing fully well that she is towering over you by some few good inches (or feet?)
Ladies, your contributions are also welcomed.
As for me, I’ve once had a taller better half (by 2 inches), and honestly, it was never much of a problem. Perhaps my rich self-esteem always made up for the few inches.
What do you have to say?
PS: I am about 5ft9...[s]call that a bonus cheat tip for all the interested ladies, and you'll be correct[/s]
NB: I know there will be childish and snide, as well as insightful replies. Bring them all on!
it's nt abt short or tall dat mata's. Wat mata's most is LOVE n udastnd
lalasticlala: Tragedy struck on the Ireshe Road, Ikorodu area of Lagos State when a 10-year-old pupil of Anglican Primary School, Ikorodu, Toheeb Abdullahi, was crushed to death by a truck.
PUNCH Metro gathered that the victim’s skull was smashed by the rear tire of the truck carrying crates of Pepsi soft drinks.
An eyewitness, Suraju Sumonu, said the police had seized his motorcycle on the fateful Tuesday afternoon when he saw the incident.
He said, “The kids were coming back from school when the rough edge of the Pepsi truck hooked the boy’s shirt.
“There was traffic on the road, so the driver of the truck did not know what had happened. He drove forward without knowing the boy had fallen on the ground and his head close to the tyre.
“The truck broke the boy’s skull. It was such a gory sight that people had to quickly cover the dead body with cardboards.”
Our correspondent learnt that policemen attached to the Igbogbo division arrived at the scene and arrested the driver of the truck.
The truck was also taken into the station, which was not far from the scene of the incident.
When PUNCH Metro visited the residence of the boy’s parents on Gbadamoshi Street in the Itupate community, he met the victim’s parents with a group of sympathisers.
Toheeb’s mother, Taiwo, was observing her prayers when our correspondent entered the house.
She later explained that her son, who was in primary five, died due to the careless attitude of the school driver.
She said, “That day, he went to centre, where they usually teach them technical skills. The place is at Itaelewa.
“The usual thing was that the driver that the school employed would carry them from the centre back to the school, from where they would find their way back to their parents’ home.
“That day, there was no teacher with them in the bus. The driver then decided to drop them on the main road and asked them to trek into the school compound which was a few kilometres away.”
The victim’s father, Salami, while fighting back tears, said he had resolved with his wife not to seek redress in court.
He lamented that the firm, which owned the truck, had yet to pay them a condolence visit.
“My boy was a very intelligent boy, as well as a devoted muslim. He was my second child.
“I was at work on the Lagos Island when I received the news. When I visited the police station, I was told the truck driver was in the cell. But let them release him, we have taken this as our fate,” he added.
PUNCH Metro learnt that Toheeb was formerly attending a private school in the area, but his parents withdrew him two months ago and enrolled him in a public school.
It was learnt that the reason was to ease his admission into a government secondary school.
An official of the SevenUp Bottling Company Plc, bottler of Pepsi, who declined identification, denied the allegation that the company did not show any concern.
“The company was fully involved in the boy’s burial. They are Muslims and the boy had to be buried immediately. We foot the bill 100 per cent.
“About N100,000 was paid for the burial and we also paid them a visit yesterday (Saturday), barely a week after the incident happened. The truck, as I speak with you, is still in the custody of the police,” he said.
The Police Public Relations Officer, Kenneth Nwosu, confirmed the incident.
He said, “I can confirm to you that one Toheeb Abdullahi, aged 10 years, was crushed to death by a truck. Investigations are already ongoing into the matter.”
TheRealMrStan: It's about twenty five days to Christmas and predictably most Nigerian families are stocking up on food stuff, especially Rice.
For as long as we can remember, Rice has been not just a staple food but a festive food. Rice is the preferred (and expected) meal to be served to guests at parties, special occasions and on festive days.
Now here's the question: let's say we all wake up one day to discover that Rice has vanished from the face of the earth, which meal would/should take Rice's unique place, and why?

PastorKun: An irate and disappointed middle aged man has demanded that his church refund his past contributions, including tithes, or else face court action.
The middle aged man claims his Accra-based church refused to assist him, in a period during which he faced extreme financial difficulties.
The disappointed man insists that his contributions to the church, which cover a period of fifteen (15) years, should have afforded him some reprieve in his time of trouble.
However, he claims the one place where he expected to find help turned a blind eye on his predicament and his pleas for help fell on deaf ears.
He has decided to move to a new church which would be more willing to assist its members but before he leaves, he says he wants the church to pay back every cedi he has ever paid into their coffers.
“I want them to pay me all the money I have given to them since I started churching [fellowshipping] with them.
His demands are not restricted to donations and collection however. The frustrated man insists that even the tithes he paid over the fifteen (15) year period should be returned to him.
“Everything. Donations, everything they should refund my money to me. The tithes I am paying is not going to God, it’s going to one particular person and that is the pastor. It is not going to God, it is going to the pastor.”
The peeved man insists that the money he paid should still be in the church coffers and that the money “can never fly”.
I want them to give me my money, he reiterated. “If they do not give me back my money, I will take them to court!”.

16 TAIWO AROMOKUN
The Yoruba actress who is married to a London based man recently revealed why actresses go for abroad based men:
"“Nigerian based guys have a stupid mentality about actresses. They believe actresses are prostitutes. Most of them just want to date them and dump them later. They will start broadcasting that they had dated this, and that person. Another reasonis because they don’t understand theterrain very well. Most of them stopped their spouse from acting after marriage. This is why people go for guys who are based abroad.”

ajahexcel: Tragedy struck yesterday as a fresh graduate of the Imo State University took his last breath as students poured him water in jubilation of final year completion.
What seem to be jubilation turned into a gathering of sorrow when the victim was running away from a number of students who pursued after him to pour dirty water on him. In that quest to dodge the water being poured on him, he fell into a soak-away pit and got drowned.
The dirty water from the pit however is partially passing a light current as the pit is dug beside their transformer where earth-wire is buried.
Pouring of water has been banned in schools but some students would not obey this.
Many students in this light unaccepted celebration of final papers have been injured, poured acid and some other dangerous liquids while some other persons have gone to the great beyond via this.
I think every final year student should learn from this as well as those who dedicate them to pouring water on university finalists.
so sad chaiii evil piple don put their yeye hand. I keep on tellin sum student's pourin of water is nt d best way @ all. Now look @ dis 1. Well may his soul RIP.

Aysuperstories: Many people have been killed in three explosions during Friday prayers at one of the biggest mosques in the Nigerian city of Kano, reports say.
The Central Mosque is close to the Emir of Kano's palace and is where the influential Muslim leader usually leads prayers.
The Emir, Muhammad Sanusi, is currently in Saudi Arabia.
An eyewitness told the BBC he had counted about 200 bodies, but this figure has not been verified.
Other reports say some gunmen went on a shooting spree in the northern city after the blasts.
The militant Islamist Boko Haram group has targeted the city before during its five-year insurgency

lalasticlala: Fast-rising singer, Adokiye Kyrian, has shown to the world how adorable her body figure could be. She recently displayed her ‘sexy’ body to the world to see.
Not only that, the singer urged Nigerians, especially ladies, to embrace swimming at least once in a week.
“Stay fit always. Good health is wealth. Cultivate the habit of swimming once in a week at least. Don't cheat your bones and body. Treat it right,” she said.
It would be recalled that in June 2014, Adokiye was in the news when she offered her woman’s pride, her virginity to Boko Haram for the release of over 200 secondary school girls kidnapped in April 2014 by members of Boko Haram sect. She was highly criticised for her offer. Some claimed she was using the girls’ abduction for publicity stunt.
