Between 4-6 months is acceptable. 10k cad is currently about 3.3m (bank rate) and almost 4m (black market) I would say 4m is a safe mark. You should stay updated with the exchange rate changes incase you’re not applying now.

Paying your tuition is good. As it assures the visa officer that the money is available, but it does not guarantee that you’ll get the visa. Therefore, you should find out from your school what the refund policy for tuition is, in the case of a visa refusal. Once you find that out and the policy guarantees full refund, you can pay the tuition and attach the receipt to your visa application.

If no, you may want to consider adding a little more funds to the account. 9 million is clearly not enough.

If yes, then you’ll be needing a whole lot more money (if they’re accompanying you), or proof of how they’ll be taken care of in your absence (if they’re not accompanying you)...

My question is that will 9 million be enough as statement of acct for my personal account? This 9m will just be sent to my account, I hope there won't be a problem because the money hasn't been flowing for the past 3 months. The money is actually in form of digital currency so I have to convert it to naira.
