PrinceMario: Obasanjo,Ribadu,Bayo Ojo(SAN) and lots of them has been booed by OAU students in the past,so if Jonathan come tomorrow,we'll do the same. We don't welcome oppressor here. Obansanjo was booed in 1999 and also in 2002 when a particular student walked up to him and warned him never to recontest in 2003 but he did. lo,he gave the student that warned not to recontest 2003 election an appointment in the federal level when he won the election but he(obasanjo) dodge every appointment that could bring him to OAU campus before he left office. so bro,bro Jona's case is indifferent. if his case is no different, where exactly does that put us? We were supposed to be applauding and hailing him, not the booing, pelting stones, etc. |

jaryeh: I want to believe you were there. The fact that you didn't see him when he was stoned doesn't mean he was not stoned. Your post would have been okay if you had pointed out that you didn't see anyone stoning him.
Brother, he was stoned by angry students when he came down from his vehicle at Sports Complex, his guards blocked the stones while the armed men scared the students away. 'he was stoned by angry students'... let me get this straight. Why exactly were students angry? |

PrinceMario: Bros,u dey lie ooooo....i was in the library when i was hearing the students shouting "ole ole"(meaning thief, thief) and singing various aluta songs. in fact,i left the library to join and behold i saw myself in some of the pictures trending about the issue. the truth is,we booed Jonathan. He should have been told that OAU is the last place where a failed government will be celebrated. Obasanjo and Ribadu has experience such,so bro Jona is not a super human that can turn great ife students to coward. Unbelievable. When Prof. Omole increased the fees people said all sorts of things, and yet, no one has ever had the stuguts to boo him on many occassions that they see him. If u cannot boo Prof. Omole, no one has the right to boo His Excellency. Whether OAU students like it or not - he's the president and a president must be respected. |

U know in life dere ar just some people who u respect because of deir success in deir field or d way dey av impacted lives. Chaz b was on dat list for me... He was d host of a show named sharing life issues with chaz b which airs on rhythm fm, mon-fri in d evening. If u were goin tru anything, u could phone in and chaz will talk to you, give some advice, reason with u and pray for u. He was all for bringing out d best in people, marriages, relationships etc. But chaz b had a bad kidney, he went for a transplant about a year or so ago bt i guess his kidney failed yesterday, because few minutes ago i saw d news 'chaz b is dead'. Its really hard to believe but he is gone and its really sad...I'm really goin to miss him nd hearin his voice. He left behind his wife and a daughter, monalisa ( May God strengthen dem) RIP chaz, u av been an inspiration to people. May ur soul rest in perfect peace.
One minute silence for chaz on d thread pls. *sobs* RIP Charles. Reminding me of a guy (Samuel Koleosho), who stayed in my room during postume & was supposed to resume come May, only to hear that he died of typhoid. |

Vikkie14:
you kept on shouting "promoting", do i looks like an agent? And besides, if that's an issue with Nigeria, its not applicable to the rest of the world. Its like you saying there is no 4G service in Nigeria. If you think FREE wifi hotspots is really that pathetic to get in Nigeria, the app will scan everything for you-- from its being FREE or BILLED, password-protected or not. I dont open the thread for Nigeria, as the issue border on the "world". So if Nigeria isnt the issue, Nigerians could just make way and let "those" with it to air their view. And bro, when something is called FREE, it mean F R E E !!! When it is free, it cant be password protected. Even here in the SK.
NB: am not a promoter or an agent. If there is something that could make living comfortable tech-wise, why should it be hiden. what's sk? Slovakia? |
