missmitch, There's an avon cream that i got 2yrs ago. It's called Instinct and it's in a pinkish tube with silver cover. You just slightly twist the cover and squeeze the tube for the cream to come out (not entirely removing the cover). I have been searching for this cream to buy, but i have not been successful in that regard. Do you happen to have it? Wat is the price? I am very interested. |
Hi. Do you have Basmati rice or is it only Uncle Ben's. What is the Price? Also, what other stuff do you sell? |
You can get original methylated spirit at the chemist or any store that sells baby things. Just make sure you shake the bottle well and see if the bubbles disappear almost immediately. If the bubbles, after shaking d bottle dont dissolve at all or take more than 3seconds to dissolve, be sure it is not original. I am more familiar with the moko brand. All the best. |

According to TV Continental, he was said to have committed suicide. It's really sad. May his soul rest in peace. Amen |
Na wa o! |
Why would someone request a romantic song for his or her burial? It's not like he/she's gonna be listening to it, moreso, would the guests be happy enough for such? I'm curious. |
Same happened to me. Dont expect ur baby to start accepting solids just like dat. There'll be moments of spitting and vomiting, but wit time and patience, ur baby will get used to other foods he/she is being fed. I'm trying pap wit milk, fresh orange juice, eko(corn meal) wit ewedu and fresh titus fish, indomie(which i blend and prepare like semo), custard, etc. All these are accompanied wit lots of water to prevent constipation. I wish u da best. |
My pregnancy was quite eventful. Had morning sickness and heartburn throughout(though sleepin on my left side helped ease it). My feet got swollen at d last trimester. I couldnt take cold things at home(mother in law and hubby were against it), so i made sure i had my fill of icecream anytime i went for antenatal visits. Looking back at my experience and d pain i went thru, i aint givin up. I still will definitely have more kids! |
Just heard on AIT news dat the embattled Deji of Akure, Oba Oluwadare Adeshina has been deposed. He has also been banished from Akure for six months! Phew! In as much as bein short of words, i can only say 'finally'. Good one. |
@ Poster. Let me laugh small first. Seriously, Are u kiddin? D reason u aint using protection's cos u guys dont have children yet? Hope u know those diseases u're nursing can cause infertility for u guys. And is she also recievin treatment? Cos if u're da only one bein treated, she'll keep re-infecting you. she cries everytime u confront her and finally wins da argument? Well, seems like history will keep repeating itself. Dont wait till those diseases make u sterile. Talk to her and stand ur ground as par she changing her ways(abi una no dey get enough time for ur woman?). If she doesnt change, ur marriage might break down o!. |
From ur post, i can deduce dat u dont trust d lady and u're somewhat tired of the relationship. My take on askin questions about past relationships: 1. It may not have any bearing on d present relationship. 2. Even if d above is true, d answer might still bother u. 3. If d number of past sexual partners is bad, ur partner may most likely lie about it. 4. Leave d past, unless it's a health issue. Anyway, Please dont abort the baby. Even if u're not goin to marry her, try ur best to support her. I understand ur anger, but take time to cool off and if u still love her, continue wit her. By d way, none of u were virgins when u met, so let d past be. |
No way. I can categorically tell u dat. I've never had any sensual feelin when bosom-feedin my baby. It's an entirely different ball game. He's still latched on as i'm typin dis message(lol) and da only thin i feel's a lil bit of soreness. |
Funny. It could be dat when sand was put in da grave, there were air pockets in it & after some time, d soil settled to fill those pockets. Also, if da coffin was a simple wooden one, it might have collapsed. |
She sounds like a BRIDEZILLA! |
. @inspirizu. Dat 'll be Spartacus. How come no one's answered my question? |
@Teeluv. Wouldnt dat be a scene from 'devil's advocate'? Now who said dis 'i dont speak monkey, banana?' |
God! I really get annoyed when i read or hear about mothers in law showin dislike for their children's spouses. Anyway, chaircover has said it all. Pls heed da advice and keep being strong. It is well wit you. |
Have u talked to ur husband about dis? Maybe he knew about da change of plans or he just didnt see a big deal in wat happened. Let him know how u feel about da whole thing. He can save da situation now before it goes beyond wat ur mum in law's doin now. |
It's a requirement for ante-natal registration. And seriously, dat registration is something else(takes like 2months). I agree, blood donation should be voluntary. When u make da donation beforehand and da woman needs blood transfusion during delivery, u pay less dan wat u'll pay if she aint a booked patient(not registered), and she needs blood transfusion during delivery. In essence, u pay for da blood u 'used' if u're not booked and u delivered there. |
Jumie's absolutely right. I thot it was a joke when they said my husband would donate blood at Ikeja General hospital. We started askin questions and we were made to realise it's 'for our own good'. my delivery turned out normal and i didnt need any transfusion, but we dont regret da blood donation thing cos their services are good there and almost free. |
well, none of us farts too much, but when i catch him lettin one off(though i hardly smell anything), he keeps a straight face & blames it on d food i cook. if i let one off, he sprays d whole room wit insecticide instead of air-freshener! |
my dear, dont ur doors have locks? how can someone just barge in2 ur bedroom? pls b careful o. even if she's not up 2 anythin, u gotta avoid her. if u've been visitin her apartment too, u need 2 stop now. if u cant put ur foot down & let her know how u feel, then stick 2 urself. if she notices dat u've withdrawn 2 urself, she should back off. dis is wat i did 2 a VERY nosey inlaw of mine, believe me, it worked. |
Fhemmmy's so rite. but then, d issue also applies 2 d wife's mother(believe me, I've seen some who show dislike 4 their sons-in-law). Well, i thank God 4 my mother-in-law. she aint wicked(but she sure likes 2 b doted upon whenever she's around). And my mother, she treats my brother's wife like her own daughter. i'm so blessed! |
i'm around egbeda. but my parents and sister are in ibadan. is 'titlas' d name of d shop in bashorun? could u kindly oblige me wit d make/brands of d cot and car seat? i'm sure dat armed wit such information, my sister 'll be able to know what to help me get(she can easily bring 'em to lag). thanx so much. i really appreciate ur responses. |
thanx Fhemmmy. ideas? anyone? i'm still waitin, |
oops. forgot to add dat i'm based in lagos. |
Hi, i need to buy a baby cot and i would like 2 know wat 2 look out 4, d price range & if possible, where i'll get it. a friend told me i could get 4 btw 11 & 15k, but she's not sure. i'm on bedrest, so i cannot be goin about pricing stuff. ur suggestions on infant car seat 'll also be greatly appreciated. thanx. |
hasma? na wa o. but i read dat one can cure mild ASTHMA wit snail fluid(d slimy thingy) & pure natural honey. u just've 2 mix d 2 in equal parts & drink 2 tablespoonfuls @ nite everyday 4 3wks. well, I've never heard anyone testify dat it works. |
don't snoop 2 much 2 give urself hypertension. had dis boyfriend back then who always check my sms @ every little chance. he even checked & printed my emails(how did he get my password?). my ex was tryin to come back then, so boyfriend printed all d mails d ex sent(he however did not print my replies to d messages, where i blatantly refused my ex, tellin him i was over him & in a wonderful relationship). i had to end d relationship. |
my mum said when i was a toddler, she took me out and when we got 2 d bus stop, on seeing a goat, i screamed 'mummy, e wo adiye dudu elese merin' (mummy look at black chicken wit 4 legs!). i now started runnin after d goat, shouting 'ku ku ku ku'. she said she was super embarrassed cos people nearby started laughing. obviously i was only used 2 seein chickens! |
