I'm learning a lot here. Keep up the good work. Sorry about your car. |
Anthony! I'm very annoyed wit u. Why didnt you post ur 'joke' in d jokes section? How do u want people to take someone else who's genuinely suicidal serious wit wat u've done? U're a grown man and u should know better dan post dis type of expensive joke. U really got me worried and now, i dont even blame those who were harsh on u wit their comments. SMH |
, dont know if it's true, but I read somewhere that he was trying to get eye-witness account from some people(thinking they were just spectators)when one of them pulled out a gun and shot him dead. May his soul rest in peace. |
-Ikeja -Gbagada -Ifako ijaiye -Agege -Igando I think there's also one around ejigbo side. |
Tryin to upload d pix
|
I just read dat a young man has been shot dead during the Ilorin protest not quite long ago. Details are still sketchy, but it appears dat security forces are attackin d protesters. I really hope it's not true. |
My neighbour paid 250 from ikeja to cms yesterday. Wats happenin in dis country's really sad. There's nothin democratic about dis government at all. Like someone said, even a dentist numbs ur pain before pullin ur tooth out. Wat has d govt put in place to cushion d effect of d subsidy removal? Power supply is not constant, roads are bad, no salary increment, state of security's terrible etc(i could go on & on). Even my landlord had to rescind his decision to increase d rent when he heard dat subsidy's been removed. I sometimes wonder if GEJ & his team actually read people's reactions on sites like this. God help us. |
Dont try it! Are u a doctor? SMH |
Go to shoprite. I saw lots of Apple Cider Vinegar bottles at their Ikeja branch a few days ago. |
If u're in Naija, u can get Vintage or Vinoz anti-dandruf shampoo. Wet ur hair & massage d shampoo in till it forms rich lather. Leave it in for about 10 to 15 minutes before washing it off. It also has conditioner, so u can use dat after washing d shampoo off. A bottle of each costs between 200 & 250 naira. Its very cheap, yet very effective. I hope it works 4 u. Good luck. |
1st - Taiye or Taiwo 2nd - Kehinde 3rd - Idowu 4th - Alaba 5th - Idogbe 6th(if there's one) - Idoha 7th(if there's one) - Kokorugudu |
Happy married life. But Aki, did u have to wear dat glove? Lol |
@NEGOZI, i'm from Ibadan but my husband is Egba. My hubby loves ofada too (i prefer eatin d ofada sauce wit 'normal' rice) but i'm so much in love wit amala, ewedu & gbegiri. Lol |
I'm cooking 1. amala wit ewedu and gbegiri(bean soup). 2. Ofada rice wit dodo and sauce. 3. Some jollof rice(i'm tired of jollof rice, but some of my visitors might b interested). 4. Vegetable salad. All these will be accompanied by d customary Turkey and beaf. I'll also be making chapman and small chops. Hmmm, may God give me strength. |
Wat's d size of d rice? How many kg goes for N1,800? |
Yup. The embalmed body of the gorilla's still there. |
Anyone remember Worzel Gummidge? |
Lefulefu!! Una no go kill person o! Lol |
Mine was in 2008, when some portions of the 3rd mainland bridge were being repaired. I took a public transport bus to work that day and we got stuck in traffic on the bridge for hours. To make things worse, it started raining heavily and we had to roll the glass up. It was so stuffy in the bus and as if the suffering wasn't enough, someone started farting! I nearly threw up cos of the terrible smell. When i couldn't take it anymore, i decided to open the window by my side to let some air in, not minding my clothes being drenched. I got to the office dirty and very upset and had to borrow my colleague's jacket to hide the dirt on my shirt. |
I really do not believe a doctor would tell a pregnant woman to stay off sex 'for no reason'. Among others, there are situations in which a pregnant woman may have to forgo sexual pleasure for the time being. These include: Vaginal spotting. Abdominal cramping. Placenta previa or very low-lying placenta. Cervical insufficiency. Preterm labor. Ruptured membranes. Unhealed genital herpes lesion in either the woman or her partner OR presence of any other untreated STI. On the other hand, ur friend's wife may just be using doctor's advice as an excuse cos she may not be feeling comfortable (taking into consideration, the 'aches and pains' of late pregnancy). |
Pls take ur baby to the hospital and specifically ask to see a Pediatrician. You'll get many advices here, but what worked for others may not work for your baby. |
It's good to register for ante-natal as soon as your pregnancy is confirmed. Some women claim they'll wait till it's over 3months cos then, risks of miscarriage would've reduced. They say it would be a waste of time and resources to register early, and miscarry later. I dont agree to this notion because if you register very early, miscarriage would be prevented through proper ante-natal care. There are lots of dos and donts in pregnancy and you're surely surrounded by information. Asides the advices you'll get from your doctor, colleagues, family members and friends, you can browse the internet and get some books(i use BabyCentre guide to pregnancy and birth). |
May their souls rest in peace. Amen. Asides taking samples of d eba they ate, i hope the police also took samples of whatever they drank with the food, maybe water etc. Hmmm, it is well. |
Bitu (meaning, i'll beat u). He runs to a corner, faces me and gestures with his hands while saying this. Beba!(meaning, Up Nepa!). He screams this whenever the lights come on, starts dancing and runs to give d person nearest to him a slap(to him, its a slap of joy. Lol). He also says it whenever his dad comes home(cos he knows daddy would put the generator on, in case there's no light). Haaiiyah! (meaning, Halleluyah!) |
I agree with simpleseyi and blank's perspectives. People have diverse experiences in relation to inlaws living with them. |
Heartless woman. How can a mother do such a horrible thing to her child? Transferring her aggression and frustration on the kid?? Seeing the pictures brought tears to my eyes, but i'm glad he didnt end up dead before the case was taken up. |
It's not true. The moment i read those harsh words attributed to the Prince, i doubted the story. It started as a joke by a blogger and ONION made a big deal out of it. |
Ah! I used to be quite depressed many years back. Two things gave me relief. 1. Crying (i just couldnt bottle the emotion). 2. Go out (either to my friends' places or if i had enough money, i would shop and shop). I'm glad dat phase is gone. Depression aint a good thing. |
Lol @ Nekai. @ OP, i'm not an advocate of abortion, so i wouldnt advice d woman 2 do it. I second Biolabee's opinion. |
If i were a man, yes, i can buy pads or tampons for my wife. Quite a number of men have done it at some point, though they may not publicly admit doing so. I have seen lots of men rush to buy pads for their wives at the labour and maternity wards. |
How is your baby now? I hope there has been tremendous improvement. In addition to the solutions proffered, you could trying supporting his head on a small pillow (to raise his head above d rest of his body) when he sleeps, or put d small pillow under his mattress to raise it a bit. This will prevent any stomach contents from moving up towards the baby's throat. I wish you all the best. |
