Romance › Should I Let Her Go Or Keep Up With Her? by Hdanny(op): 5:55pm On Oct 20, 2023 |
Let me start with this, am not the relationship type, have never been committed to any girl all my life. I don’t go for anything under skirt cause am too selective when it comes to Girls.
I met this girl in Port harcourt at a friends place in early June, she is a single mother and she seems to be a very good and jovial person, we got connected immediately and we had sex the same day, ever since then our sex scenes been great, she do a-lot of things for me, like house cleaning, cooking, doing my laundry and stuffs even when she’s not been told. I told her the first day that I don’t base here and I might travel back to Lagos where I came from very soon, she said it’s fine.
Fast forward to the day I was about leaving, she started begging me to take her along that she needs to take her son to Lagos where her ex boyfriend parents live for the boy to resume school, the ex is not in Nigeria. I felt pity for the poor boy and I told her it’s okay, I gave her money to go take the boy from her mom so we can go Lagos together. I made it known to her that I won’t be responsible for her housing and feeding cause am going back to go hustle. We left Port Harcourt together the next day.
Getting to Lagos, she started lamenting that she hasn’t eaten that I should please send her some money and should try to get her a job, I reminded her of what I told her the day we were leaving, don’t try putting your burden on me here in Lagos. Luckily for her I got her a job close to my work place, just for her to use that in taking care of herself. She started the work the next day and we started seeing again and having sex couple of time at my place, all these time I didn’t promise her marriage or whatsoever. Now here is the problem.
Anytime we have misunderstanding at my work place, before I say one she don talk two even when I tell her to stop she still continue talking, when it happens like that I just get up and find my way out but she never allowed me to go out, she would run after me and lock the door then remove the key, before I know it I would hit her and she won’t even waste time hitting me back, have never hit woman all my life but I can’t just help it, all these happened at my work place most of the time, once we settled she would go on her kneels and start begging me to forgive her for hitting me, it happens over and over again, our last fight was bloody, I had to call it quit few days ago before anything bad happen. She cried and begged me that it won’t happen again but I made her understand that it is not healthy if we continue like this.
Have been by myself these past few days, I must confess I miss her so much, she cook for me and bring to my office everyday, I miss our nights conversations so much, her soft touch on me and the rest. I called her two days ago to come around which she did, I made her sleep at my place, we talked through the night and we ended up having sex and she asked if I was okay with it or if I want more that she knows I miss her so much, I can’t even deny that cause it’s boldly written all over me. She left very early in the morning at 6am. I noticed the feelings wasn’t there anymore, I understand how she feels cause I had to make her leave my place that day we broke up even though she never wanted to leave.
I miss everything about her even though I don’t see any future in us. I feel something is not right, keeping her and still having sex while we already broke up. Should I just let her go or still keep up with her? |

Hdanny: I believe we all have standards when it comes to choosing our life partner, most especially men that have hustled hard to make it and finally want to settle down and you want the best mother/father for your unborn kids. So if you find love in someone that has no educational background (only primary school) would you still go ahead and accept him/her to be your life partner or you just use them for the moment till when you finally meet someone of your standard? |
Romance › Re: Should Non-educational Background be the reason not to choose Him/her? by Hdanny(op): 9:34am On Aug 01, 2023 |
ArmedArmada: It is said that a child's height comes from his dad and intelligence is gotten from his mom.
It is goes beyond being able to conceive. If, as a man, you're the breadwinner of the family, in all likelihood, your woman would have more contact with the kids than you would.
Imagine your hear your wife teaching your child, K for Kabbage.
Can a person who's not educated and exposed enough stand for you as a man when you're not there?
Imagine you have a Masters in Petroleum Engineering and you have some colleagues over for dinner and they try to engage such a wife in conversation?
It's gonna be a disaster of epic proportions.
Apart from that, how do you engage your wife in conversation? It means that a large chunk of the common ground education would have provided won't be available for you guys to connect on.
How can share stories about adventures in school, friends you made, wicked lecturers, difficult courses, and the like?
I could love someone from a distance. But wifing a lady... hmm, that's a big, lifetime decision that I won't take very lightly. Of course, her education has to come into play.
I'm not a fan of using people. If I know I don't have you in mind long term, I'll clear you from the get-go. No use getting someone's hopes up.
But God forbid, if I'm forced to marry someone like that, she's going to continue her education in my house, as a distance learning, part-time student until she gets all her degrees in order.
If she doesn't like this plan, then we're definitely not compatible at all. Well understood…. |

Papilagreen: See topics like these are what I like to add my own cents to.
First of all before you think of relocating to another country you need to plan real good.
If I should be honest with you the 6 months time range you can make it happen but depending on the country of your choosing.
If I will advice you of countries to relocate to these will be my best options for you.
Luxembourg Sweden Finland China Norway These countries are my top choice Second choice USA Canada Australia Mexico.
So haven't did that I will add this for you..
6 months won't be enough to get you to any of these countries minimum time u need 1 year minimum and it depends on the rout you taking and how you go about it.
I live in America ND America is a good place except for it drugs challenges and gun violence and some policies they implement in their government system of rulership.
My advice take your time plan not just for your self but for your son. What opportunities are you going to expose him to and how best to achieve this..
I relocated to USA in December 2019 and it's the best decision I ever made. The only thing be say I dey try as much to avoid problems much as I can. Reason be say anybody for America u wan fight, 98% chance say your opponent get gon chucked in his body somewhere and won't even think twice to empty the clips on your body dem no sabi use hand to hand fight here na gun them know and you can get guns easily here like say na garri u dey go buy for market.
I do have a gun myself but legally for protection and I don't walk with it I keep it at home Incase somebody try to break into my place. In summary na for protection.
Things are hard everywhere for America right now we dey recession too but still on that I dey see 3 square meals eat easy. I dey fit save even if na $20 monthly after all my expenses which includes helping family and friends back home monthly but I don learn to dey give with wisdom sine I now have a child.
To sum it up for you bro.. if you decide to choose the American route, from my experience it will take you nothing less than 1year and 4 months minimum so the earliest you start the better. Still on still the way us embassy dey deny visa now days dey fear me. My kid bro was denied visa the truth be say na to prep yourself go well because e their questions is phycological u need to be smart to not losegard they ask same questions twice in different approach and you give two different answers you done DENIED VISA.. You have to get your shit right B4 u go by prepping well. Hopefully he will still try again I know people who go like 3 times B4 dem grant them visa mine was one try I got mine. So with some of my friends I helped to get here.
I will always say this... I know of person very close to me wain only sabi say him papa name for English the rest na hand him take demonstrate and dem give am visa ooo. All you need is confidence and prep well for your interview..
And finally before I exit the floor bro you can relocate with your son via study visa to come study ND find your self a job placement to sponsor you for job employment visa ND you good to go. You bring your son with you as a dependant. Very easy just apply for am along with you.
U no need millions to relocate to America but you just need the right information which you have Google for unless you need professional assistance which you can get if you have the right info..
Last last you go dey alright if you are able to make it here. Talking from a guy who came to America with just $250 in his pocket without knowing anybody. And it's the best decision I ever made.. I hope this my one cent was able to help the best way. If you need more info feel free to reach out I will be glad to assist the best I can. I so much love this your 2cent Have heard so much about America and have tried it once but got denied, still I ain’t giving up. I will like to reach out to you on WhatsApp so I can gather enough information from you. You can gladly mail me your number. Akinwumiadedapo1@gmail.com. Thanks |

Leandah: Hello Nairalanders,
Please I need people with first hand experience to advise me on the best country that I can legally relocate to in the next 6 months with my son (Not UK pls). I was planning towards December 2024 initially but the situation of things in the country currently has made it become a thing of urgency, before the small savings I have is totally wiped off with forex and inflation rates.
I would really appreciate suggestions/recommendations.
Thank you. United State with study visa…….am on it You can talk to me. |

Romance › Re: UK Cost Of Rent Per Month by Hdanny(op): 10:49am On Jun 03, 2022 |
walkbrazil4k: If you have the opportunity to travel to the UK do it, don't let these Nigerians deceive you, they would always bring up stories to confuse you Lol nobody can even deceive anyone, it’s what we see ourselves on a daily, either on the TV or internet. Life is easy, less stress, good atmosphere and great income. You will make it very fast if you don’t get carried away with the big lifestyle over there. Bro just japa in the right way if you get good connection. |
Romance › Re: UK Cost Of Rent Per Month by Hdanny(op): 10:43am On Jun 03, 2022 |
MemoriesAndMe: You are correct, many people will prefer living in the UK or the US Nigeria, mainly because their currencies are not devalued, healthcare, education and security are intact, but they are paid for by people living there.
It's not just the rent, you pay for additional amenities and that quickly gulps your income, making it impossible to save there sometimes.
So, those in Nigeria are lucky because rent is cheap, but lack of basic amenities is why some folks have decided to stay put in those countries.
No one wants to walk around with fear of being kidnapped when that's not common where they're coming from, and they can't rent a cheaper place in Nigeria where it's more difficult to get a job. That’s just it bro, could you believe we still have some rich people in Nigeria that moved out of the country mainly because they are lacking these basic amenities such as water, electricity, healthcare, etc. Even as bad as it is, here in Dubai is still 101 better than living in Nigeria because you enjoy these basic needs as a common man in the country. |
Romance › Re: UK Cost Of Rent Per Month by Hdanny(op): 10:05pm On Jun 02, 2022 |
jedisco: If Nigeria is cheap, why do we have a huge chunk of people classed as poor. The sticker price paid for an item means little. Relative affordability is important. It’s not even about how cheap it is to live in Nigeria, the problem is no where the money is coming from for a layman in the country. |
