Too much insane people on cyberspace. . It's not about cheating, it's about the unbearable disrespect and dishonour. You don't bring a man to my home, our home, to fuc.k you. You don't do that. Davindal: I'm a soldier(officer cadet) as well, but I must confess; most of our colleagues are too stupid to know when to act in rugedity and when not to act.
The people bringing this bad blood between us and civilians are the recruits(korofos), the illiterate ones: from you fatigue and the way you sounded, you are one of the fools that ought to be stricken off from our midst.
You and the set of soldiers in this category lack standard education. To them, wearing of camo(army fatigue) is an authentication and authorization to abuse and molest civilians. That is why, civilians hate us. You and your type caused it.
Each time I go on break from school(NDA) here, people, particularly, my town guys use to say that I'm too good and handsome to be a soldier. Whenever they say so, I use to tell them that in NDA we are well programmed and too enlightened to be stupid: though, I don't rule out few bad eggs amongst us. I only act when it is necessary; I don't show off unwarantly.
Let me reiterate my stance once more, I don't show myself anyhow. In fact, while on break, I don't fly our colours, I don't bully people, I don't drink much - only occasionally, I don't womanize - I have only two girlfriends: but very serious with one, though I'm studying the other, I don't keep late nights - for I'm not immuned to attacks. I conduct myself gently.
Civilians, please not all soldiers are arrogant. There are still good and civilized ones like myself and my ilks.
thank you. This looks too good to be true. The extinct concept of an officer and a gentleman, in Nigeria's decadent Armed Forces! I can't believe it until I behold and engage you in flesh and blood. Then again, your refined/atypical use of English, choice of words, and clarity of thought entitles you to the benefit of the doubt, in my reckoning. Thumbs up man. There is hope, after all. |

If you can do better join up, don't be all mouth.. Will you shut up, you brainless bimbo. So your so-called husband is the only man in his village that can last more than a day in the NDA? You must be kidding me. Do you know how many millions of "bloody civilians" that are willing and able to join the armed forces right now, but can't find their way in because they don't have any godfather, or don't know any traditional ruler or Senator and all that rubbish? You must be very mad. If you ask very well, your husband and most of the cowards in the Nigerian Armed Forces are not qualified to be soldiers in any sane country. But due to the usual nepotism, corruption, and influence peddling that has battered us a people, misfits like them can lobby their way into the armed forces through the back door... Simple. Think about it, soldier vs civilian. One armed, the other unarmed. One able to call for ARMED reinforcement if overpowered, the other unable to do so. Now tell me, and any bastard called a soldier reading this should also tell me, is this an even contest? Is it a fair contest? Is this a true test of strength or courage? There you have it. Nigerian soldiers are the biggest cowards in the world. The only advantage they have over the average civilian is not so-called rubbish and outdated training. It is their arms and ammunition - issued by the government. Unfortunately, the gun control laws in Nigeria make it very difficult for the average civilian to lay hands on a rifle. Otherwise these cowardly soldiers wouldn't be so 'brave'. Simple and short. |

slimthugchimee: Section 251 of the Constitution also states; Any person who, not being a person serving in any of the armed or police forces of Nigeria, wears the uniform of any of these forces, or any dress having the appearance or bearing any of the regimental or other distinctive marks of any such uniform, in such manner or in such circumstances as to be likely to bring contempt on that uniform, or employs any other person so to wear such uniform or dress, is guilty of a simple offence , and is liable to imprisonment for three months Good. Now look at the part I highlighted. Since we're here to learn, can you tell me the difference, legally speaking, between a crime and an offence - a simple offence at that? And by the way, why did you abridge the provisions in the quoted section. The Law supposedly prescribes a penalty of imprisonment for three months OR an option of what? ? ? |

United Kingdom Edit In the United Kingdom it was an offense under the Army Act 1955 to wear real or replica military decorations with intent to deceive. However this law was superseded by the Armed Forces Act 2006 in 2009, which lacks this prohibition.[21] It is still a crime in the UK for a civilian to wear a uniform of the armed forces without authorization under the Uniforms Act 1894,[30] and false claims of military service used to obtain money or other enrichment are prosecuted under the general crime of fraud.[21]
Canada Edit In Canada, section 419 of the Criminal Code makes it a crime to wear a uniform from the Canadian Forces without authority as well as any awards or marks not earned. It additionally makes it a crime to possess any fraudulent discharge papers, commissions, warrants or military ID, including those that are forged, altered or belong to someone else.[31]

Abeg is UK no longer Europe or is Canada in Africa I'm not sure you understand the meaning and contexts of what you posted. Read the highlighted parts, slowly; reinterpret them, even more slowly, and then arrive at a better - more educated - conclusion. |

Bukast: . Read section 109 very well she is guilty.. the only thing is that they did wrong stripping her in public, but don't forget section 109 made us understand that she is guilty of misdemeanor and liable to imprisonment for one year. That's is is she was charged to court.. You people are so annoying. Why are you trivialising the unprofessional conduct of the Army? "The only thing is that they did wrong by stripping her". See how you casually waved that off and went on to talk about section 109, as if that's more important than the CRIME committed by the soldiers (sexual harassment, assault). That is the real issue here. The so-called 'guilt' of the girl is not the issue; it is petty, hence why the option of fine prescribed by law is a measly N40. Since you're pretending to like the law so much, why not emphasise the penalty prescribed by law for the offence? Does any law empower these bunch of uneducated misfit idiots in uniform to administer arbitrary punishment on any offender? Address that because THAT is the real issue! |

now to the issue obviously what she did was Def wrong, she can't claim ignorance either. some things are meant to be respected the army dress is a symbol of authority wearing it is like wearing a police Uniform when you are not it's wrong on all levels. how they handled it could have been better and more decent. You sound pretty stupid. The army put themselves in harms way for your safety? Meaning what? So that entitles them to behave like tin gods and like reckless barbarians? You must be very daft. Did anybody force them to join the army? The army is an occupation, just like the police, the medical profession, teaching, farming, etc. None is more important than the other. Don't make these idiots look more important than they are. Their motivation for joining the military is NOT altruistic. They joined the military to find a means of livelihood like anybody else, and many of them are even motivated by the perverse desire to be in a position to intimidate and oppress others, NOT to protect them. Give the average Nigerian youth a gun loaded with ammunition, and he will protect himself better than the useless and unprofessional army ever can. Nonsense. |

Only female criminals should be stripped naked. No one wants to see a dirty hairy, bony ass and 'dangling participles' gyrating recklessly all over the place. |

On the other hand, the driver (service provider) is NOT allowed to be arrogant in the line of duty. If you can't keep your yeye arrogance at home when you set out for your daily business of providing paid services to the public, then the profession is not for you. It's really that simple. |

Wisebisho: One thing is to join a public service and another thing is to have the public manners. The guy should go and luck himself up inside his room. I tell you. As egotistical or short tempered as I can be on occasions, if I find myself in a duty post where I have to interact with strangers/the public daily, I would develop the thickest skin in the world. Nothing, and I mean, NOTHING - except actual physical assault by the customer - can make me form stupid egotistical attitude in reaction to a customer that is acting up. If i work at a job that brings me in contact with different strangers everyday, I should expect to encounter all sorts of difficult and unmanageable people. It comes with the damn territory. If I can't deal with that, I rather quit the job and go back to my house for goodness sake, than spill my ego all over the place in the line of duty. It disgusts me when people vent their frustrations on a job that no one forced them to take. |
