imustsaymymindo:Unfortunately, your memory is not correct. You people should stop parroting this falsehood about the faker called Harry Akande. Afi 6th richest man in the world. Scoffs. The man was never even the richest in Ibadan where he comes from. That title goes to a certain reclusive mogul known as Bode Akindele... Let alone Nigeria, let alone Africa, let alone the world. Deinde Fernández, yes, he was quite wealthy and possibly one of the richest (and most globally influential) Nigerians of his generation. I dare say Deinde was even richer than the flamboyant and showoffish MKO at his peak, only less noisy. In all, it is difficult to say who was the richest before Dangote, for the simple reason that Forbes hadn't started including Nigerians (or even Africans) in its famed reliable billionaire rating index. However, I'll hazard an enlightened guess that people like Mai Deribe and Isiaku Rabiu Isiaku would be right up there as the richest Nigerian businessmen in the 1990s before Dangote took over. |
Sorry o. Na you do yourself. Idiot. |
The money is so huge, she can actually afford not to invest it "wisely" and still not ever go broke. It's the kind of money that demystifies poverty. |
Nigeria is in the hands of charlatans. Arrogantly incompetent charlatans. This means trouble. It is finished. |
It's funny how people misunderstand poverty and wealth. These conditions are very fluid and subject to change. There are millions of cases of rich today, poor tomorrow, and poor today, rich tomorrow. If you're talking about certain physical attributes then yeah. A short dude is exactly that. He would never be tall in his lifetime. But things like poverty and wealth are artificial, and entirely linked to an external factor (money) that can come and go at anytime due to the vagaries of life. It's quite stupid to make long term decisions on the basis of short term considerations. |
Retardddded idiots. They can't monitor their useless soldiers' unrestrained and recurring acts of irresponsibility and unprofessionalism, but they want to monitor "anti-military" information. These bastards are too disgusting for words to describe. |
I'm not sure OP knows the meaning of "Corporate Nigeria". |
See the pathetic responses of bitter and envious Nigerians. How's it a senator's primary duty to rescue his constituents from poverty? So until he doles out monetary handouts and 'relief materials' to lazy and unproductive youths in his constituency before he is deemed to be performing? If they are talking about performance, then it should be limited to parameters such as contributions on the floor of the Senate (bills, motions etc), advocacy, agenda setting etc. Those are the only ways to assess a senator's performance. This whole silly idea of "constituency projects" and doling put money to idiots is part of what has made the Nigerian legislature an ineffectual and perpetually corrupt institution. |
ExchangerPLUS:What's the idea behind this Visa Card inward transfer? Does it mean that one can directly receive withdrawable/spendable paynents on the card from across the world? How does this work? |
What's the feminist stance on this? |
This must be a joke. How exactly has justice been served? Or are we supposed to take it to mean that useless apologies are all that the police would do when serious breaches have been committed by its officers? Have the officers been SACKED? Or at least, have they been suspended and slated for criminal prosecution? Extortion and aggravated assault are serious crimes, and I expect that policemen found to have engaged in these acts must be REMOVED from the force and then prosecuted and jailed. That's the only justice that would make sense to me, and if I were to be in the victims' shoes, I would not rest until this outcome is achieved. Nonsense. |
This is rubbish. So the so-called Sharu works, lives, and sleeps in the EFCC office? Doesn't he have a house, a family, and a life outside the EFCC premises? So if some so-called 'suspects' with billions of Naira in their possession want to get rid of Sharu, they don't know how to find him, other than to target him at the EFCC office? |
Evaberry:Envious, poverty ravaged idiot. Someone was interviewed and he expressed his opinion to the interviewee. And snippets of the interview, being newsworthy, have been reported here for those interested in reading it. If you're not interested, why not simply skip the topic and find Tonto Dike or Mercy Johnson thread? Must you comment on this particular topic that "does not affect" you? Anuofia. |
An interesting story on its own merit; made even more interesting by the sheer excellence of the storyteller's narration. Outstanding! |
One of them is a bad Kyari, no doubt. And the fact that Buhari is keeping him in spite of his notoriety, is all the proof you need that the Buhari government's anti-cotruption noise is a big joke. |
somehow:Yet another bloody ignoramus. There are just too many of them here. What is the difference between 'camo' and uniform? Have you seen anyone wearing the Army (or even the police or any other military/para-military) UNIFORM for fashion purposes? If you can't research and understand this question (difference between 'camo' and uniform) in order to answer it correctly and cure your stupidity, then you must resign yourself to a lifetime of inanity. |
The story of Nigeria is beyond sad. It is worse than tragic, although it is somewhat comedic. Really, anyone who takes this country seriously needs a brain transplant. Anyone who takes Buhari, the APC, and their 'change' mantra seriously does not even need a brain transplant. He or she should be killed outright. We're such a pathetic country. In every way imaginable. |
The Bentley is such a beauty. Doesn't deserve the indignity of smuggling and seizure. |
Oxenomy:Lol. Tell them. I laugh whenever I see headlines like "Nigerian hacker" arrested for stealing $x million. Which hacker? Credit to these guys, they are driven by the zeal to be rich, and they desperately seek ways and means... but they have no idea what hacking means, because they know zilch about programming language or cyber security. If there's a Nigerian hacker capable of creating these exploits or exploiting loopholes, then he is certainly not into wire wire. Probably a US educated white hat geek working for Oracle Inc somewhere in Redwood, CA. The black hat hacking masterminds who create the trojans, rats, stealers, crypters, binders, spam pages (links), and other associated tools that Nigerian boys use to perpetuate these mega schemes are entirely from the Eastern European/Asian axis. Russian, Belarusian, Romanian, Bulgarian, Croat, Ukrainian, Albanian/Vietnamese, Indian, Chinese, Pakistani, and everything in between. These are the guys that wreak havoc on billion dollar systems worldwide. They are the geniuses and masterminds. The Nigerians are merely bottom feeders with zero knowledge of the backend operations. The thing working for and against Nigerians is desperation and greed. They always take it up a notch and 'overdo'. Then again, they probably don't make up to half of what these foreign guys make. Just that the foreign guys are always low key. You wouldn't see the average Chinese black hat "wire" mastermind who makes an average of a million dols a month driving a pimped out G-Wagen and popping Aces and Cristals around the corner in stupid clubs. Instead he will wear one blue faded jeans and tee shirt for days and concentrate on setting up chains and chains of franchise businesses. Next thing, he is a 'legit" dollar billionaire with 200 retail stores across mainland China and abroad. Case closed. |
pamijlove:Typical Nigerian Bimbo. The only thing that makes sense to your kind is Ini Edo and Mercy Johnson.... Or taking shots for snap chat and instagram when a 'customer' takes you to one hotel room or the other. |
planetx:Nope. I don't think so. I'm sure his woes are self-inflicted in the sense that he travelled to Yankee to 'flex'.... as per awon t'onje aiye foreign. Very daft, if you ask me... If you know your ways are crooked and you're most likely on the radar of Uncle Sam, you better sit your rich fraudulent ass here in naija and enjoy yourself to the fullest. Naija has all the fun you need, all the kinds of girls you need, fun spots, and best of all, freedom. Na overseas waka waka dey put these kinds of people for trouble. From Joshua Dariye to Alamieyeseigha, to Ibori, to Oga Walter Wabatsoma, to all the smaller fries in between. Stay back in Nigeria and enjoy yourself and fight any case that comes your way here. Cos if you travel recklessly because you have too much money and frequent flyer miles to burn, then trouble would be lurking round the corner. |
ActionsShure:Just make sure say you no miswaka go Yankee afterwards. |
dee02:Nor just everybody, but also EVERYTHING. I am hedonistic, and I subscribe to the principle of enjoying your life now that you're here, if you have the resources,. Even if your resources get depleted before your time on earth runs out, the sheer memories of your fabulous life would be more than enough to console you until your time to die comes. |
The same Cameroon that our cowardly and useless soldiers ran to for refuge (in their hundreds, while escaping from the same Boko Haram. The now infamous so-called "tactical manoeuvre". If it is to strip a helpless girl in public for wearing camo, or to bully an unarmed civilian around the corner, our very retarded animals called soldiers would be happy to display their 'strength'. Bloody idiots. |
Well, your boobs look "greatfull", that's for sure. |
Coldfeets:Lol. They wouldn't learn. It's beyond them. I can't tell you how bewildered I am whenever I see mediocre (nay substandard) girls' profile pictures and posts amass hundreds of likes and gushing comments, mostly from drooling idiots who call themselves guys. Some of these pathetic guys even thank the girls for accepting their friend requests! Sometimes, for the sheer curiosity of it, I check the social media profiles of some of my random lays and casual female subordinates that are all at my fingertip, and to my utter horror, you would see them with hundreds of likes and tens or even hundreds of comments. Take a moment to inquire into their likers and commenters, and you would see old fools (guys) mumu-ing themselves... Goosebumps. Yikes. That's the only reason why most Naija girls of this generation - including those ugly ducklings whose drab naked bodies can't give me an erection no matter how hard they try - are now full of shitty attitude, propelled by a horrendous delusion of grandeur, sense of entitlement and an over-estimation of self-worth. |
Nigerian men are to blame. They keep giving mediocre girls cause to feel special and entitled. |
Anything is possible in Nigeria; from the sublime to the ridiculous. A country where the police force threatened to (or even actually did) embark on a strike. The idea of corpers going on strike sounds weird, but then, far worse has happened in this decrepit country.. |
Tyranny won, yet again. Nigeria will not experience the kind of revolution that would take us out of the woods as long as we continue to capitulate to the forces of oppression - intent on perpetuating the status quo through terror, intimidation, and violence. |
Lost soul. I imagine he would be consoled by the prospect of oppressing "bloody civilians" in hell. |
This yeye attention seeking agbaya and his exaggerated sense of importance. Someone needs to put him to sleep. |
