Neddstark:Listen to a senseless other party that sent a "stupid" message to a rider? Who does that? No excuse in the world justifies that! If the rider had been unruly, the driver is EXPECTED to REPORT her to taxify, and she would be barred from using the service if she is found culpable. Taking the liberty to insult a rider, regardless of the circumstances, is unacceptable. And taxify did the needful by sacking the unprofessional idiot. |
joey150:Typical Nigerian. A Driver has the audacity to send you stinker of a message, calling you stupid, and you expect the lady to simply laugh it off. What message would that send to the driver? Wouldn't he do worse next time, to another rider? |
Is the governor aware of this? |
And yet we don't hear them brag about "dying to protect you bloody civilians", like those cowardly soldiers always do in street corners and beer parlours all over the place. |
Mynd44:Bla bla bla. How much was his cumulative salary and compensation as a mobile employee? And the so-called "treasurer" story is ridiculous. Is Mobil some sort of thrift society or cooperative that needs a "treasurer"? Bottom line is that his stupendous wealth today can not be justified by his record of salaried employment prior to entering politics. Ethnic defender. Defend this. |
aribisala0:This is mere conjecture. As law enforcement, it is not your duty to 'foresee' a crime before it is committed, without any evidence whatsoever other than mere suspicion, and proceed to arrest somebody. Meanwhile, the law says that you are only required to declare the amount you are traveling with if it is more than $10,000 or its Naira equivalent. This is barbaric and shameful of us as Nigerians. It is a joke. N300K is approximately $900. Imagine the DEA or FBI in the United States arresting a Nigerian travelling from New York to Lagos, simply because he was 'caught' with genuine $900 - in whatever denomination. How would YOU react to that? |

MasterChen:"How much you get". Typical brain dead Nigerian idiot of the Evans generation who is obsessed with money by any means. No questions asked. Get a brain, and a life. |
Fake gist. She's not even the richest woman in Africa, let alone the richest black woman. That title belongs to the richer, more beautiful, more hardworking, and less noisy Angolan profiteer known as Isabel dos Santos, with a net worth of $3.5b as of 2017. Next comes our beloved Oprah, with a net worth of $3b FULLY self-made dollars. Oprah would always be the bona-fide richest and most inspiring black female billionaire of this generation - not parasitic, rent-seeking pretenders like Alakija who illicitly came into possession of an oil bloc belonging to Nigeria's commonwealth, and is profiting unfairly from it. Zero talent, zero hardwork, zero innovation, zero entitlement. She's nobody's legitimate role model. |
Well. What I see here is more of an attempt to market the so-called, hitherto little-known pass.ng, than an attempt to genuinely mourn the young man's demise. It appears that the character behind the so-called Jarushub is also a strategic stakeholder in pass.ng, so anything to drive traffic. We have keen eyes and we read between the tenuous lines.. And see beneath the veil. Be that as it may, May the young man rest in peace. |
Yeah Yeah. So so. Discerning people know that he rejected the money not out of integrity but out of dissatisfaction. Most people are, by default, 'principled' when the offer is not good enough. Approach an ashawo in a red light district and offer to pay her N500 for the night. The response you would get, at best, is a nasty retort of "what do you take me for... do you think I'm a prostitute?" (lol). At worst, she will slap you and raise an alarm that you're a kidnapper/Badoo member... Na your body go tell you. I'm sure that Mr journalist/Whistle-blower would react differently if the "bribe" offered was, for instance, $700,000. We are not deceived, let alone impressed. |
Young03:Maybe what you bought is spelt Gucci, but it actually pronounced as "Gussi". |
Bimpe29:Fidelity, for men, is even deadlier. You get to miss out on the richness and fullness of experiences that life has to offer. Grave injustice to oneself, and to your hustle for money. Life is too short and meaningless to mindlessly latch on to ludicrous carnal loyalties. Bad things happen often, to unlucky people.... Faithful or unfaithful, good or evil, holy or unholy. People who had never boarded a plane in their entire lives were killed by a plane crash, right in the supposed 'safety' of their own homes! Example: Dana Airline crash of June, 2012. Now, rationalise that. Same way faithful men get bleeped up by their own wives, and by the rest of the world. It's called time and chance, and it happens to even the best of them. It's just the way life is. Don't attribute inevitable happenstance to one's life choices. |
ekems2017:One of who kwa, biko nu. |
harriet412:Na wa for you Nairaland girls. Seems you can't even tell yourselves the truth, even on a faceless forum. Every married man I know in real life has more chicks at his mercy than the average single guy. It is married men that use all the hotels littered around. Otherwise, the hotel business in Nigeria wouldn't be lucrative. Most Nigerian girls in the real world have slept with (and are sleeping with or would some day sleep with) married men... . Superiors in the office, benefactors, lecturers, pastors, favour givers, etc. It is just a daily occurrence that can NEVER stop. Stop deceiving yourselves online. |
ekems2017:It's almost impossible to be good looking when in great distress. Imagine what you would look like when paraded by the police for riding your sugar daddy to death in a hotel room. |
Threebear:Was the survey carried out by a Nigerian? Is the context national or international? Why are you so insistent on advertising your ITK stupidity? Don't quote me again with your blatant and recalcitrant idiocy. Ignoramus. |
Is it not this same hypocritical fool called Don Jazzy that praise sings and licks the asses of so many men whose fortunes were MADE POSSIBLE by Diezani, particularly Igho Sanomi? May Amadioha disfigure that your fat face. Idiot. |
Threebear:Why not tell that to Zimbabweans? Following your clumsy logic, pretty much everybody in Zimbabwe is a multimillionaire, and every 3rd person, a billionaire. In Zimbabwean Dollars, of course. Objectivity pays. |
VictorJoshua:Black people look like human beings, but are they? (to paraphrase Botha). Nigeriai (and perhaps the whole of Africa) is cursed. Very useless. |
VampireeM:Na wa o. Why this heavy emphasis on money. It's the reason why relationships and marriages in this part of the world are a huge joke, rooted in deception, materialism, and artificiality. So, assuming I have "financial stability" today, in the sense that I have a good job, and get married. What if I lose that job a year later and can't get another one soon enough? Does that mean that my marriage is doomed? Or that I was stupid for getting married without being assured of a lifetime of bottomless money? |
How much does it cost to hire a 100 foot ultra luxury yacht for an hour? |
soberdrunk:Hahaha. Ol boy no mind them. You sabi the drill. |
Anazp:Was wondering. If indeed it's on the Hot 100, then it would have been a very big deal. |
EAGSL:Mr man don't be such an incompetent reporter. What exactly happened here? Who is the bloodied man sitting on the floor? What are the circumstances surrounding the incident? I hate it when nincompoops drop incomplete and incoherent pieces of news here. It serves no purpose whatsoever. |
Explosive interview, with brutally honest and intelligent responses. I'd like to see the inanities animals like Lai Mohammed and other Buhari apologists would come up with to counter Kanti Bello's assertions. |
The magistrate granted bail to a violent sex offender? Bail of N200k? What kind of country is this?.. |
Shebi na person wey dey alive go fit do something, or anything sef. |
The Payoneer card allows you to receive direct payment from freelance sites and affiliate networks.I don't think that information is correct. You'd do well to clarify. |
Nigeria is rapidly degenerating to a failed state. What is going on for goodness sake? |
superior1:There's nothing in your post to show that you're a 'richly baked' graduate. If anything, you're possibly more 'poorly baked' than the NOUN graduates you denounced. |
