same story line all the time. my project topic was on child/girl trafficking, during my research i realised greed, unhealthy competition n poverty is the underlying factor. I think Many Igbos understand the inherent danger that IPOB and ultimate secession poses to them and their livelihoods, but are banking on the fact that it wouldn't become reality.
They are therefore using the whole IPOB and biafra thing as a leverage to remain relevant within the Nigerian scape. Many of the younger ones among them are even using it to have fun and chest beat thinking its all "interesting" and stuff that they locked down onitsha head bridge.

Until reality dawns and they start running helter skelter and calling for some kind of agreement with Nigeria... which by then would very likely be too late.

In the event of Biafra seceding from Nigeria, both sides will have to discuss the sharing of assets, liabilities and debts. This means that there will be a discussion on 'Biafra/Nigeria' reltionship and the status of its citizens. A 'transition period' will have to be agreed on to allow the agreemwnts take effect


It is not likely that Nigeria will start deporting all Igbos straightaway as this could illegal under international law. Another reason why Nigeria wont do this is because it will damage Nigeria and the Nigerian economy irreparably before the international community. No international investor will ever step foot in Nigeria ever again when hear that Nigeria deported millions of people it once called brothers.

Such mass deportations only destroys the credibility of a country

In all things, the Chief of Defence Staff is the Koko. It is even worse when the CDS and COAS are from the same Military force, na close marking COAS go dey collect.

CDS can even recommend COAS for instant retirement for your information, don't allow pant to be wearing you there Ooooh.

No foolish Chief of Army Staff will near Mr President or Minister of Defence or NSA etc for any type of briefing without first calling Chief of Defence Staff, except he wants to terminate his career.....

Chief of Army Staff dey mad? Them never born that kin Chief of Army staff yet......Not even for Hollywood movie, not to even talk of Nollywood.......

For your information, if C-in-C even give an order now, Chief of Defence Staff can use his influence and give a counter - order to Chief of Army Staff - provided C-in-C is not on ground as at that time - and Chief of Army Staff will double up and perform it........
