Thank God they have found the causes of the problems. She can be placed on progesterone injections to take care of that problem. Also, since she has incompetent cervix, cerclage can ve done on her till she gives birth. These are the possible solutions except there are other underlying issues.

Her case has been found to be that of inadequate progesterone levels (hormonal imbalance) and an incompetent cervix. She loses the babies in the 3rd-4th month of gestation. So, the case of folic acid or the other supplementations expectant mothers take isn't new to her. In fact, we did bed rest, less stress, and no bikes, she stopped work and laid in bed all through, yet all went down. We are lost at wit’s end already hence we devised the option to try surrogacy.

Cold water or ice block has no effect but drinks has. Get ready to give birth to big babies, deal with high sugar level and even blood pressure. Too much of it is bad. Please try and stop, only take once in a while. This is a doctor/midwife advise. Safe delivery to us.

Good day mama and trust the twins are doing well. My doctors said the supplements in pregnacare does not contain the required quantities for pregnancy. I had to start taking the normal folic acid and other supplements with mine to get the right dosage. You can also consult your doctor for further advice. Also, you get more advise from the pregnacy session on nairaland as some experienced mamas are there to help.

Do you mean 6 capsules of coastscience in a day? If yes, this is highly overdosed my sister. Please note that it contains 600mg of Coq10 aside other supplements which is needed per day. Please a capsule is OK for a day, pray and God will show up. Shalom.!

Is your placenta position anterior, if yes, you might not feel the baby's movement like posterior position especially first time moms. Please do well to visit your doctor as soon as to rule out any danger/complications.

DHEA is a naturally occurring hormone which converts into androgens (mainly testosterone) in females. It is essential in the production and development of healthy eggs. Reported side effects from DHEA supplementation are oily skin, hirsutism (male pattern hair growth) and acne. My clients have reported that they feel their skin is oilier and more prone to acne break outs, more dark hairs in places such as their chin and upper lip (although it is usually just a few hairs) and one felt that her hair was falling out and becoming thinner.

Please note that I said i was preparing for IVF when I took it and it was just for two months (not regular). Taking it in excess like other drugs will always have adverse effect. I am in my 30s. It worked for me and it might not work for others.

DHEA is not for everyone. Don't use it if not necessary or needed or else na trouble. DHEA can actually cause adverse or opposite effects if not needed. Until you are sure you actually need it use other egg quality supplements instead.

Go for coastscience and DHEA if you can afford it. It worked like magic for me after several failed IVFs due to egg quality. But with these supplements for just two months, pregnancy happened naturally. Congratulations in advance
