The management of Warere Beach Hotel in Zanzibar, Tanzania has reacted to claims made by Nigerian tourist, Zainab Oladeinde, that she was robbed and almost raped while on vacation at the beach last year, IGBERETV reports.

Zainab in a Twitter thread posted on Saturday said she arrived in Zanzibar on Saturday, April 16, 2021, for her birthday celebration on April 18. Zainab, who traveled alone, alleged that in the wee hours of April 18, an unidentified man snuck into her room and tried to rape her. She said over $1000 was also stolen from her. Ms Zainab also alleged that the Zanzibar authorities did next to nothing to help her as they accused her of lying.

In a statement released on Sunday 17th April, 2022, the management of the hotel said when the incident happened, it filed a report before the police. The management says the police report indicated that Miss Zainab's case was a personal one and was not a result of negligence on the part of the hotel.

The injuries of a 23-year-old lady who was ran over three times in a road rage attack have been revealed.


Morgan Scott suffered deep gashes over 60 percent of her
body. She was also left with a broken spine and severed liver after a man known as Vincent Jean mowed her down three times with his SUV.

After hitting her the first time, Jean then reversed his SUV and Scott briefly reappeared on the grass, barely moving.

Jean then fired up his engine and launched another attack on her - despite his victim lying still.

'She said the woman said ''thank you'' to her when she passed it over. Every time I look at the video it makes me feel sick.

'By the last time she got run over she looked completely out of it on the ground. She should never have survived that.'

Also new reports reveal that the suspect, Jean, 56, was obsessed with Grand Theft Auto and posted numerous clips of the video game on his social media.

The Scott family said they were devastated at the 'atrocious' attack and added it was 'not the result of any domestic dispute'.

Jean has been charged with first-degree attempted murder and third-degree assault by auto.

Jean is currently being held at the Union County Jail awaiting a hearing.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been voted the best presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), according to a poll.

The poll conducted by StatiSense, a data consulting firm with expertise in providing data services such as Analytics, Research, Reporting, Measurement & Evaluation, showed that the incumbent Vice President was the popular choice.

The poll which had a total of 1,873 voters, consisted of four APC candidates who have so far declared interest in the presidency.

Alongside Osinbajo were, national leader Bola Ahmed Tinubu, serving Ebonyi State Governor, Dave Umahi, Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, and the Vice President Yemi Osinbajo.

The final results end with Osinbajo polling a staggering 56% per cent of the poll.

Former Lagos governor, Tinubu placed a distant second with 23% of the votes. He was closely followed by former Rivers governor, Amaechi who garnered 14% of the votes while Umahi managed 7% of the votes.

The APC primary election is expected to hold next month with a specific date yet to be announced.

Some commentators on the StatiSense poll reckoned that Osinbajo is the only popular candidate in the party to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.

Henry Olanipekun said Nigeria would like to have Osinbajo on the ballot come 2023. "What I wish to see in 2023 is Osinbajo for APC and Peter Obi for PDP."

Ladan Idris in his own comment guaranteed the Vice President his vote beyond the party primaries. He wrote, “I’ll vote Prof Yemi Osinbajo SAN as the next president of Nigeria in 2023.”

Most of the other comments also said they wanted the Vice President to emerge as the APC flag bearer and subsequently Nigeria's next President.

This is not the first time he has dust tinunu in such a poll. I guess APC will be blind to ignore the fact that yemi is more marketable and acceptable by Nigerians than tinubu.
No south south and south east state will vote tinubu over Atiku. But they will vote yemi over atiku any day any time.
