What is happening to the world? This epidemic is already affecting our business climate in Onitsha. My goods are yet to arrive from China since February, with excuses here and there. Is science failing mankind? Why is the world seems to be finding it difficult to bring out a cure? How long can we survive without a cure to this virus? |

Travel › Re: Cameroonian Nairalander Wanting To Immigrate To Nigeria.. Please Advice by Henix(m): 12:27pm On Jun 26, 2016 |
mcfunkii: Hi everyone i am a Cameroonian. I am planning a trip to Lagos next month. What is the best way to travel from Cameroon to Lagos.
Flying is not an option for me because i do not have a passport. I know i will either have to go through Ekok by road into Cross River state or
through Limbe by Boat to Calabar but that is as much as i know. I will like to know things like :
1. What document will i need and where will i get it. I have my national ID card. (I will like to stay for about 2 weeks to a month in Lagos)
2. How will i travel from Cross River State to Lagos and how much will it cost me. How long will it take to get to Lagos and are there any stops on the way ? If any where ?
3. How will i travel from Calabar to Lagos and how much will it cost me. How long will it take to get to Lagos and are there any stops on the way ? If any where ?
4. Which is the most convenient and shortest way to go, through Limbe to Calabar then move on or through Ekok into Cross River State then move on.
I do not know if i have put the question perfect but i guess i have mentioned all of them.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Why not go the right way by getting a passport? Your national I.D card will not give u a free movement up to Lagos, unless you are ready to be settling immigration officers when ever you encounter them on the road. Go through Ekok. Once you get to Ekok, there are lots of bike or taxi there that can take you across the boader and straight to a park where you can see a Lagos bus at Ikom town |

treasuredkids: I'm in Lagos. It will be good to get that money invested in different ventures as earlier advised. I do not have a biz plan but I have hectres of land I intend using for agricultural purposes with focus on both food and cash crop. If you can give me a loan of 5m, you can get a repayment of both principal and interest of 8m within a period okay by both of us. No business plan, no past record, no experience on the said agricultural venture, and you want some one to give you 5 million naira loan? You need to package your idea 1st |

I will advice you look for a property of yours that you can sale to free yourself from the debt, if truely you dont want the banks embarrassment. Otherwise look for a lawyer who can can write them and seek for a better repayment plan. Your credit record at those banks will play a role here in getting a soft landing. BTW, You shouldnt have allowed your landlord to evict you without making a case that would have bought you more time at the shop, knowing fully well that you are already in bank mess. I hope the landlord gave u a proper 6 month notice anyway. I really feel for you! The bad economy we found ourselves in, has been a nightmare to most business owners, not just only you. It's one of those things in business, but God will see you through |

@op, are you really competent enough to compete in this highly competitive automobile business? Am aware that grade of car differs, which therefore determines prices, but even at that, u still have to work on ur sources, and at the same time work out devices thru which u can win people's confidence on ur prices. For example, you can be quoting the cost of buying the cars in Euro, while u leave the naira equvalent calculation, shipping cost, and clearing to be done by ur targeted audience, except when demanded. I must be frank like others, ur prices are damn high. If you must be in business, you must be skillful enough to beat ur competitor in quality delivery, and at the same time maintain a moderate price that can attract customers. God bless ur hustle |
