FYI or Valour class frigates were commissioned in 2006....that's 15 years not 22.......

DAMEN COMPLETES SEA TRIALS OF 40M PATROL VESSEL PAIR FOR NIGERIA

Damen Shipyards Group has completed sea trials of two patrol vessels in a series ordered by Nigerian maritime security company SR Platforms.

The two vessels each have a length of 40 metres, a maximum speed of 29 knots, a range of 2,000 nautical miles, and a 140-square-metre aft deck for transporting personnel and cargo as well as for accommodating equipment for firefighting and oil spill recovery.

Both vessels were readily available in stock at Damen Song Cam Shipyard in Vietnam. Upon delivery, these will be deployed by SR Platforms as fast support intervention vessels on a contract with a major international oil company.

The only thing wrong here is the stupid journalism. It is not the job of journalists to only tell us what party A and Party B said but to also educate the public on what is true.
Questions that needs to be answered are;
Is the ONSA a military or civilian Department?
Is the accused serving in a military or civilian capacity?
Does the case fall within the jurisdiction of the court that issued the order?
Why didn't the EFCC liase with the DHQ and military police to prosecute the accused.
The next step is for EFCC or any other relevant institutions to sue the soldiers for contempt of court and obstruction of justice. The military command can then decide to make it an institutional issue or let the soldiers and the said Brigadier Gen. The military command can appeal the case if they feel the court can't prosecute a case involving a serving military officer with their main argument being lack of jurisdiction.

Finally, I do not understand how a corrupt individual using the power of his office to evade justice will not make Nigeria better by 2035. This is even a good thing as it will most likely strengthen EFFC and courts should they win the case and it also shows that at least certain parts of government is actually working although facing lots of problems.
Issues like this happen everywhere and a good example is US government threatening the ICC with sanctions arguing that the ICC doesn't have the jurisdiction to investigate US military war crimes in Afghanistan. Does that mean US or the world will not be better by 2035?

What is all this effort at discrediting a fighter pilot who has danced in the skies with ace fighter pilots of the Pakistan Air Force. He's word is good and NAF JF-17 is 4.5 generation.

The JF-17 in Nigerian service outstrips the Gripen in service with the SAAF by far. The former Pakistani Air Chief himself said the JF-17 now exceeds 4th Generation Aircraft in performance. He's on record saying so.

There are conflicting reports from two socially known individuals who were present at the scene. one said people died, another said he didn't see any dead body but only wounded people. So it's wrong to call it a hoax cos it's not certain. The only thing that is certain is that it was not a massacre cos the soldiers didn't fire directly at the protesters, they fired into the air in both of the videos online which showed the soldiers. The incident to me is a case of unprofessionalism of soldiers trying to disperse protesters and not to kill.

Soldiers shot in the air and the bullet came back mysteriously to wound people but not to kill people.
