the Bayelsa case you're viewing it from an emotional and illogical point of view. It was not disputed that David won the election, the issue is that his candidacy was nullified on the basis that he and his deputy which are considered as one entity forged their(deputy's) documents before election. So that means everyone who voted for him actually voted for no one since his candidacy was nullified.

I agree with you about a lot of things you said, but since you've been taught English from primary school upto university level you have no reason to not be able to speak the language, no, it's a failure on your part or that of the schools you've been attending.

The Chinese and footballers you use as an example were not born in an English speaking country only higher education and work took them to England as a result they'll definitely have issues with the English language, but you know what? give them a couple of years say 5 years and they'll be able to communicate in English language they might not become as good as native speakers but they become much better than the guy in that video who supposedly graduated from schools where he's been taught the English language for at least 12 years and also supposedly communicated in the same language for at least 4 years(university)

So, you shouldn't be justifying this guy. And yes, whole the ability to speak multiple languages is a form of intelligence, it is not an absolute way to determine if a person is intelligent or not since there are many forms of intelligence.

English just like Igbo, hausa and mandarin are languages made primarily for the purpose of aiding communication and nothing more. So it's not a big deal if a person can't speak English language, the only issue is if he's been taught English almost all his life and yet he still can't speak
