Payper:Those items/capacities which you cited he could help with all cost money, you don't pray and they fall from heaven, you either buy them with money or you produce them from raw materials which you have to buy with money. Now, moving to Innoson, ventilators and Bashir. I'll reinstate my statement once again, everything costs money. Now let's assume he takes a loan and starts manufacturing those and some where somehow they decide not to buy those ventilators for any reason at all, who will pay for the loan? What guarantee do you have other countries will buy from him? See, when starting a new business venture the first thing you must do is market research, you have to be sure you have the market willing to buy what you're producing otherwise you're only gambling. It's simple as that. Moving to Air Peace, it's a good thing that the patriotic Nigerian who happens to be a Yoruba man switched to Air peace following his good will if not that I don't travel long distance that'll require flying, that deed alone would have made me a lifetime passenger. But my concentration isn't on the exceptions which are usually one in a million; as we know there are always exceptions in every situation but you and I know exceptions are not the rule. Did you really follow up the news about Allen Onyema and the issue he had as well as the responses from people? Even top news paper publishers? That patriotic Nigerian in Port harcourt is like a drop of water in the Pacific because he's Patriotism didn't really change much with the majority. Back to Innoson, he should do what he and his team thinks(research and studies) is right for the business not what people(including myself) think. |
FreelanceRebel:Nigerians that haven't bought his cars, how will they buy his planes? |
Payper:Oga what if he doesn't have money to give? Or you want audio promise from him? Shey a good percentage of Nigerians despise his cars, meaning very few buy them. So where is he expected to get money from, or he should donate money he's supposed to use pay his staff and run the company abi? Air Peace that showed the Nigerian people their goodwill we all know how it turned out when he had issues in the US, we know how it ended even with government aids and high ranking profiles concluding instantly that he was guilty, some even asked the company be closed while others asked him to step down. Finally, don't coerce people into doing what you think is right especially when you didn't contribute to their progress, success or growth. Let them be the decider of that. |
Ishilove:Are you sure about that? Before the covid19 issue, there was an estimated 300 million guns in the hands of American civilians. Why haven't they all used their neighbors as targets? |
Erediauwa:Guns are presently illegal in the whole of Nigeria. Before shotguns used to be legal for a certain group. What's wrong with the little kid being in a gun shop? is a gun shop a criminal hideout? I don't see anything wrong there. Besides some of those guns are beautiful. |
ubunja:Do people actually look for girls/ladies on Nairaland? From my point of view it's the most stupid thing... na wa oh. |
how much are you willing to pay? the last payment was sent yesterday, it has recieved several payments. Plus I have 2 sites attached to it, so you can buy the two sides alongside the account |
pryme:the opinion sef is not fake, it's just stupid |
Paxie55:haaaa! una don expand rape to even things like this? What girls that collect money and not show up or do not offer the 'agreed' sex, what are they? Some of you are too emotional that you lack rationale. |
CsRockefeller:your thinking capability is questionable. Go back to my first post that you responded to read it, now come back to your last response and compare and contrast. I don't know how you people manufacture facts Just have a nice day abeg |
XhosaNostra: ![]() You get point sha, I no think say you be mumu. Your pidgin go well but e no too jell. |
CsRockefeller:The otherwise of what I said js your opinion and doesn't necessarily mean am wrong. There are a whole plethora of ways a woman could help in a marriage. It musnt be finance. Moreover the essence of marriage isn't for both of you, it's for the kids that come following the marriage. People fail to see this and that is why they'll keep failing in marriage, they keep seeing it as being all about themselves while not considering the helplessness kids... That's why you'll hear ladies and some men shouting 'my happiness' is what am after and all other variations of that selfish and dumb statement. |
ubunja:well, the poor man wants to be respected too like other men , his ego tells him he's the man of the house so deserves respect. The woman on the other hand feels she is footing the bill hence deserves the role and respect of the man in the house. That is the issue. Personally, I see marrying a woman because she can help financially as a very bad reason to marry. Whether you're rich or poor. Marrying her because you feel she'll help you bear the burden is the wrongest move, it'll always come back to haunt you; Majority of the time, it does. Whether you're rich or not, whether she's a single mum or not. |
ubunja:it's really crazy world. For most people the yearly rent is good, so you don't start moving things every now and then from one apartment to another. If you pay rent yearly, and you by any chance have issues with your landlord, you're allowed upto 6 months to look for another apartment without them harassing you, but monthly rent.. maybe you'll be given weeks or a month |
ubunja: ![]() man it's standard practice. In fact what Nigerians find uncomfortable is landlords demanding for rent upto 2 years in advance, and it's gradually being accepted. So yea, it's happening |
ubunja:Man, it's not only on Nairaland. It's the same for every and any social network where Nigerians are active. Twitter, Facebook and IG it's the same. Say something they don't like, you're reminded how broke you are irrespective of whether you're broke or not. It's as a result of poverty(of the mind and money) and the massive money worship going on, even the music they listen to promotes those, as a result that's what you get. |
Martinez39s:I'm glad someone else is noticing this stupid trend. It goes a long way to show that many people male and female are so dumb they think your financial status should determine what you say, whom you say it to and how you say it. It's so annoying. The worst part is that, the vast majority of those who have this view are overwhelmingly broke, like living paycheck to paycheck. Very messed up people and they're allover the place(Nairaland, Twitter, IG etc) |
Blazingphoenix:man... in life there's always power in balance, you can't have power balance. In every relationship be they romantic and unromantic, the one who cares less, loves less holds the key to that relationship, it's always the other person that'll try to be in touch to make things keep going fine. And if you're not that person caring less then you don't hold the power in that relationship and as a result would bear it when things go bad. It's not selfishness, that's how it is. You can't force it. Every relationship each member of that relationship know where they belong. Besides caring less doesn't mean being insensitive or being arrogant person, you just know when to draw the line and stick to that. |
sexylassie2:whatever it is that is disturbing is very strong. I hope you get help soon. |
sexylassie2:you can say he's unemployed... Plausible but arguable. But how can you say his broke? Are you his account manager? What if he has his own business and of course has people handling things for him, which means he's immediate attention isn't always needed in the day to day activities. Meaning he can show up at anytime. I think it's time you stop broke shaming people because it's plain stu.p.id... How you can conclude someone is broke without knowing sh..it about them is bewildering. I know me too am broke, because that'll be your next line. |
the list lacks merit on many aspects; 1. A sizable number of them(especially the females) have gone under the knife. 2. It's evident that many of them have actually aged, basically looking at these pictures presented here will show you that. Very few of them, less than 10 actually haven't aged. I can't believe obama and his wife are there. Obama that has gray hairs already? Even Jzay has aged unless aging means different thing to you. You can say they look better(as in fresher and all) but aged? A vast majority of those on the list have aged and it's evident. Try watching some of their live interviews, discussions etc.. You'll signs of aging all over most including wringles. Not all these make up faces and all |
DontBullshitMe:very very disturbing. What's worst is that, that's exactly a popular media company in the name of Vanguard published it. The editor who saw this and allow it to go live needs to be relieved of his job or a stern warning be issued. |
rentAcock:bullsh..it.. So you're comfortable with the rest of the world perishing and die so you can be able to rule... No wonder your president was celebrating a few weeks ago when South Africa slipped into recession because that was the only opportunity for Nigeria to become the biggest economy in Africa. A people that depends on the downfall of others to succeed are doomed. |
