We Have Lost Faith In Federal Government - ASUU. The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) said yesterday that it has lost faith in the ability of the Federal Government to resolve the lingering crisis in universities. ASUU Chairman at the University of Benin Comrade Anthony Monye-Emina said in Benin that the strike must go on to achieve its desired results. He said the union has lost faith in the Federal Government due to its insincerity over the agreement. He said one of the reasons why they are insisting that their demands must be met is because the government initially denied the existence of the 2009 agreement which was signed by its officials. "We can no longer trust government; we have lost faith in its willingness to deliver on the issues that led to the strike in the first place," he said....[color=#000000]We Have Lost Faith In Federal Government - ASUU. I was arguing with my friend that Eze ego was not classified as one of the richest men in nigeria then, but he said (my friend) he was. Eze ego was only known as a blood money man. I asked him what was his assets then that made him one of the richest?. If you remember who I'm talking about, please tell me his real name and the year he died. No offence to the ibos just a confirmation to carry out research on him so that we can end the dispute or rather diplomacy between us. Thanks |

ritababe: .........America is above 200yrs,while our own Nigeria is just 53yrs of age,yet u still compare us wit dem and say we dont have any recn 2 celebr8....nw 4 all of u who say we dont hav recn 2 celebr8,pleas try hav a re-think.HAPY BIRTH DAY NIGERIA!!!why using america?why not use malaysia who we were better than 5years ago but now 90percent of the masses are comfortable n nigerians have started going there. |
oyedun82: where ar the pix?u er wicked, u mean we should continue stepping on nails n not retreat?smh 4 u |
I just have to share this piece of words because it has been bothering me. Many people don't know the significance of celebration but since we have bb chat, facebook, twitter, nairaland,et al,they want to broadcast/post message for awareness or show. First of all, celebration means the act of marking one's pleasure at an important event,by engaging in enjoyable, typically social activity. So is it that nigerians most especially our leaders, are ignorant of the english they study right from child hood? or its their usual life style of hoping in God when they know things are not done the right way and they don't want it to be done so,remember heaven help those who help themselves n faith without work is dead,so why hoping when we don't want to make things right. If celebration is defined as an act of marking one's pleasure at an important event, why is it(celebration) added to nigeria at 53 after all the negative things happening today. The mind of our leaders are 'let me tell them what they want to hear so that I can finish my tenure(I.e 8 years on their mind not the positive impact they will make),while some of the masses who will benefit from their leadership mobilise for them by singing their praises everywhere they go n the remaining masses will start believing and hoping that maybe good thing will come. In a twinkle of an eye 8 years is over, that's how this lovely country is been from 1960 till date. Getting worse each day that passes by. If we change our mind set from nepotism, ethnicity differences, bribery, corruption, religious differences, regional differences, etc, to meritorious, one love, because we are nigerians, selflessness, because we are our brother's keeper, fear God, because you don't know how you come to this world so don't be comfortable doing evil things and we continue to pray the way we always do,then we will see how God bless his children with the labour of their hands. We(nigerians) always talk like Martin Luther king but we don't act like him. Pastors preaching for daily bread not for morals because most of them do the wrong thing and they know but man must survive. Please let's change our ways positively,so that we can celebrate nigeria memorable way. PEACE |
Please nobody should wish me happy independence day, because nothing is happy about it. So tell it to those who wants to hear it. |
Simple logic n nor of u can comprehend, check my right up very well u c were I mentioned they (females) should b respected but not shown. Funny enough most guys here do ds, thing(I.e not showing women much respect cos dey will blow it out of proportion).....hypocrites everywhere. |
djeezy: Op Respect is Reciprocal.ds adage is for business associates n casual friends not for relationship/marriage ok |
jntyjnty007: There are two parts to the interview, as I explained to this lady, one was a written exam, and the second part the usual interview.don't derail d topic miss |
I've noticed that guys/men should love their wife/girlfriend rather than respect them because if u do(respecting them) and they notice, automatically you become a coward to them. Even the bible clearly stated this that men should love their wife while women respect your husband. I'm not saying you should treat your partner like rag but reserve your respect for her rather than showing it. Guys what do you think? Women are made to respect we men. Always remember this verse in the bible so you will not turn the tail instead of the head of a home or in a relationship. |
