PoliticsRe: We Want Atiku Probed For Going To Dubai – APC by Henz24(m): 10:03pm On Nov 05, 2018

Ode ni e!

They met in Dubai for almost week or longer. Think of doing that in Nigeria and pumping money given to foreigners in Dubai into our local economy instead, so some local people can earn income, however little, for that one or two weeks....but i know its not going to be little money when tips are added in.

This is how you help jobs and economy in real life....not spitting on radio and tv about creating jobs. Where has Atiku created jobs now, in Nigeria or in Dubai?

Atikulator, Your mumu don do! grin
you see how your blind support for Mr President has made you an ode, so you will tell an individual how to spend his money, I thought you guys don't want him but you want his money in your economy while your president who is suppose to worry about the economy is busy jumping from one country to another spending our money. Don't let hatred kill you ooo

These commenters lack perspective on history, on humanity and on the evolution of society generally.
I can write a dissertation on this subject alone. It is deep but these commenters have really spiked my emotion today and made me angry.

Traditionally there were various media for breaking news in a community.

1. Newsbreak from the King or Head of a community is done with a town crier at the square or at the market.

2. Newsbreak of a birth is done by women going round family homesteads to deliver cheers and joy of the new arrival. They also have the task of merriment and celebration. Men are facilitators, they provide the means to make the tasks successful. The rites of naming is on the men.

3. Newsbreak of death. Like that of birth, someone has to make the rounds and knock on family doors and break the news.

If this is Ojujwu's son, Biancah is his step-mother. Social protocols in human society places the mother, step-mother, foster-mother, surrogate-mother, grand-mother...and all other mothers immediate to the life of the deceased, in a state of grief...and not reasonably in state of mind to make the rounds and break the news.

Just as Men are not so emotionally elated, and are not ideal for breaking news of a newborn....they are also less touched when a family member is lost and their grieving does not stand in way of other functions. They are regarded as a better newsbreaker of death.

This does not exclude a man from breaking news of birth or a woman from breaking news of death. Its a protocol but not a mandate in human societies generally.

In modern days of celebrity status and no one knocks on doors to breaknews anymore...they are delivered on facebook and whatsapp, "breakingnews" has taken a new meaning and status.
okay?

Women are really disadvantaged in Igbo culture and this is one aspect of it.
They are not entitle to make comments over death of a senior member of the family

@op, to be sincere with u, that budget can only get u a descent a room self contain, no more. My advice is get the room self contain, work for some months or even a year, safe up before bringing your family, Lagos is pretty expensive but if you insist on banging wifey every night, then increase ur budget to 600k for a flat in gbagada, will not suggest oworo, that place seems to be disturbed by some evil spirit

They were believing in the juju and gods for everything such an sacrificing to gods to enhance bountiful harvest instead of seeking nitrogenous fertilizer, accusing their enemies for deadly diseases instead of seeking for the real cause and preventive approach.

It is more worrisome to note that is worse today as we they are more enslaved by religious extremism whereby one can raise a hand and slay his brother in the name of religion.
African penticostalism is gradually setting people's mind towards lazy tendencies with more emphasis on miracles and fasting as against structural, scientific and innovative means of self development.
u ve said it all, the whites provides solution not trying to blame anyone, the earlier we stop playing the blame game the better

Good days guys, have you ever asked yourself this question 'where were africans?' Well I have been asking my self for long now, where were Africans when the whites where making great scientific discoveries? Where were we when the europeans and the Americans were shaping the world? Probably doing Juju and walking up and down naked like fools

A lot of us will be deceiving ourselves claiming that we are better than them but we are not even a a thousand mile close to them....

I was watching american debate the other day, all they talk about is how to take over the world unlike here in Africa where our politicians are still promising us simple basic amenities and some Mumu people will be clapping for them and they go still fall our hands when they enter...

You still think we are better? Where were we when the Europeans and Americans were colonising, in fact, for the fact that they colonised us, They are better....
