There are less opportunities in the SE, that is why emigration is high.
One way emigration even to places where they are not welcomed.
You can survive the business environment in southeast ... Not even dangote..

You are everywhere in Ogun state as well. Is Ogun a former capital? You were almost becoming nuisance in Akure until Deji brought out the whip. Is Ondo State a former capital?
And after the whipping what happened..

We multiply..

We're everywhere in Nigeria.. not restricted..
To the mambillas ..gembu...Jos.sokoto....

We're like sand ..you see multiply on every part of the Earth..

So don't think something special about Southwest..

Thats to tell you igbos dont restrict them selves to Yorubaland ..you guys think so highly of yourselves..

I will appreciate it if you can provide the data from the ministry detailing the list of home and land owners in Lagos island. It is very easy to sit in front of your laptop and make up bogus statistics for the consumption of some gullible people.
Down to Ipetu Modu you said? Why don't you simply ask me how many Yoruba own houses anywhere in Yorubaland?

Or you drive down..and spend some evenings on the island..lekki epe ..

Imagine an Ibo boy telling a Yorubaman to travel? When your ancestors were still living on trees Yorubas have been travelling all over the world and bringing back civilization to Nigeria

Nigeria depends on Yorubas for exposure, latest trends and technologies are brought to Nigeria through Yorubas

The only place Ibos have an overwhelming majority is in Asia where they go for drugs business

Go to any motor park in Ibos land at least 70% of the buses are going to Yorubaland escaping the backward Iboland. A land that eats its people
Simply go to any airport in Nigeria.. international airport and check the statistics...

No be to the make online noise with sentiments..

Igbos travel well to the north than west..

Know that today..and yet you won't hear northerners brag on it.
Zik of Africa was born in the north..
Ikemba nnewi was born in the north..
My grandpa worked in the north..

You Yorubas always think that the world revolves round your caves...

Lagos was once a capital..and what else do you think attract other Nigerians there..

How Yorubas see London is how Ibos see Lagos.

Any Ibo man that has not been to Lagos is looked down on as a villager, the choice girls in Iboland can only marry someone who has been to Lagos

For over 70yrs " I will take you to Lagos" has been the most potent toasting line in Iboland

They come to the West to learn new fashion trends, to open eye and mingle with advanced human. While in their land they are either hunted by kidnappers, bandits, Osu traditional beliefs or just told they cannot inherit land

The only reason they havent descended on themselves is because they have external parties to hate on

There was an Anambra vs Enugu thread where they were insulting each other, it went over several hundred pages

Later an Anambra vs Abia and Imo
Very myopic reasoning..
You need to travel around the world..

USA.has majority of igboa that Yorubas havein London..
Same with China....Hong Kong Bangkok..Taiwan..Indonesia..Germany .Italy.for the least I know..

Oyou count 60 igbos before you see one Yoruba man..

You guys are so ignorant aswear

Lmao, 87% of Jakarta, from the same source.

69% of Beijing. Trust me, these numbers are very credible.
What percentage of Yoruba owns a house on the island?

Even down to ipetu modu..what percentage..to Eleko...where you have family land and they're selling off.

Visit nairaland property section and see how island is being sold on daily..

I understand the pains you guys face..
But your people like buying fast cars and spending on women..

When I was in Ife ..a Yoruba boy told me first impression matters..I agree..
But this na boy wey they soak Garrick for house ..beg like say no tomorrow..but once he pop send money..fool go buy Jean watch take girls on date and get broke in a week..

Back to begging..

How can you build house but continue to pay rent on shop? Did you not think to create shop space on your own land?

Any house anywhere in entire Isale Eleko remains in family hands. Individuals do not own lands or homes in Isale Eko. Aromire Street is in Isale Eko. For you to tell a son of Lagos Island that an Edo man owned the house your shop is located has exposed you as a fraud and your stories lack truth and credibility.

My friend sharrap dia !!!!! Igbo people started this. Many Yorubas, including myself never paid you attention because we are truly cosmopolitan and saw you as no different to any other ethnic group who were welcomed to achieve success in the SW as long as they are engaged in productive endeavour. Instead you took the Yoruba man's kindness and laid back nature for weakness to begin insulting him and working against his interest on his own soil.

You show me many Hausas, Edos, Kanuris, Fulanis, Urhobo et al who call Lagos 'no man's land' or claim emptily they have bought all Lagos land and "made Yorubas slaves in their own Land" and I will agree with your claim. When the whole world says A and you continue to shout B then it may be time to look at yourself and see whether you have a problem.

The problem is that you Igbos are not exposed at all. Granted you hustle and have a fair degree of success but so do others. In different and greater ways in fact. Others just don't brag like you do because they don't feel a need to. Your 'money above everything else' mentality makes you feel your worth is in the material wealth you acquire. The Yoruba will therefore always be classier and worth more than you for this reason and you won't bridge that gulf in class until you develop more human finesse to appreciate what life is really about.

Igbo man has no shame and will not shy away from bragging emptily because of a culture that shows him he is nothing without money and material wealth.

Continue fooling yourselves about "Igbos have overrun Lagos" because the Yorubas are not given to empty bragadoccio. The reality always shock you empty and impotent braggarts in the end. In Lagos..
It's a mandate for every igboman to buy a land in Lagos and build in a space of five years..
Systematically..igbos have taken over island ..festac..etc..through acquisition of properties and market place.
The economic reality has been hitting the Yoruba nation who at each call their igbo neighbors to bail then out ..while the relegated to places like agege ogba fagba et.c

Lagos is a robust economy bases on federal government left overs.. seaport airport etc
Originally west..
But now with igbo systematically encroaching from all sides and relegating the same owners who gleefully..watch n sell off their right while hating and abusing their helper... So sooner than later..maybe 20 years from now..

Lagos would have completely been overrun by igbos ..
Making critical decision..in the mist of hate ..the indomitable spirit of an igboman would see him because the governor of Lagos...some may argue with their ancestors..it the reality on ground states so.
If in the last 20 years ..igbos were not factors in Lagos politics..today they're...
Lagos State government was so scared of this people that they fought hard to disenfranchised them during elections..Meanwhile the election before now ..one Oba even threathen them with lagoon..
Yet nothing..

Fast forward another four elections..I can bet it.. igbos will rule Lagos State.

They've already gotten there..
The Lagos State government under fashola did everything thing humanly possible on Earth to cut this influence for eight years..ended wasting time..
Yoruba media since 1970.. has done much to cut this influence through constant propaganda..yet they failed woeful..this article is another of the failed propagandist..
Ambode of Lagos State ..tried so much..been a shwerd governor with double face dealing was served a cold tea..

Igbos don't die.. ithey multiply...if not the Nigeria nation would have extinct them..

But if Nigeria with all his powerful force couldn't stop igbos..
One would now wonder how the Yoruba tribe are planing to do such ..in Lagos..

Igbos don't hate..the simply watch haters ..why taking over..
Jealous ones still envy..

Life goes on..

Yoruba media should continue with their propaganda..
While in reality... The world knows ..is take over time.

Time will tell

The first person that said that was Yakassai, PA to Ganduje.

After him, Bashir Ahmed, Buhari's aide reiterated the same thing.

A renowned clergy is Zaria said the same thing.

Shettima, President of AYCF, a coalition of all the youth associations in the 19 northern states and the youth arm of the ACF, said it clearly that they are presenting another candidate.

Lawal from Adamawa said openly that the North intentionally ceded some strategic states to PDP to retain power in 2023.

An ex-SGF and Buhari's campaign coordinator for NE equally said the same thing.

Junaid Mohammed, a notable northern politician and the running mate to Donald Duke's ill-fated presidential campaign also said the same thing and you guys are busy denying it like a typical yoruba man that can't confront problems squarely.
Yoruba knows the truth ...but will pretend ..they know that power won't go west..

They know this truth...you know atimes this people believe that hausa Fulani no get sense...
Then they try to scan them via religion..
Obasanjo ruled 8 years and was going for third term..north stopped him..

Buhari was at the Senate Chambers when wabara killed that bill under aAyim..

Now yaradua came spend 3 years and left..still
.yet this Yoruba people under tinubu think say they love power pass an average aboki... Same tinubu wey ahmodu sheriif slapped in front of Buhari and Apc stalwarts..

I don't argue with them..those guys that spit insults onlines are tinubu boys ..mostly Muslims..
Hausa calls igbo nyamuri.. then agine what they called Yoruba people...bats!
That's it..

An average hausa man trust and does business than a Yoruba man..hardly does .. except few that government empowered.

Yoruba's knows that their vote don't count..even in the last election..with or without them Buhari through his rigging machine won with whooping 4million votes..
That can't be said of igbos and south south in PDP..

The north has started telling them the honest truth..but they keep believing their lies..allow them..
It's been their way since 1960.. reason AWO never became president..no matter how close he was to the seat of power..same with Abiola..

2023..
Will see all old politicians retire.. especially ones from North..and they're handing over to capable hands that will continue and re-establish the northern Creed tht will be rule for long time..

And as we all know..
APC is a western and officially CPC ..not northern...party..

Is a party established by tinubu and Buhari with some interest from anpp and Rochas .

The northern interest in APC is the Islamic connotation..and once Buhari is out...no northern will bow to Buhari..even if Buhari raise Tinubu hands..

You see them strategizing on PDP return.. where they have a national say.
Truth PDP is more northern than southern..was founded by northerns sponsored by northerners.. incorporate southerners..
Southerners que into PDP because it has no Islamic undertone..is pure politics.. for politicians ..not religious bigots.. explain why people like Buhari yerima could not have a place in it.

2023.. will see the north embrace PDP totally.. wining all northern states and leaving APC for Yorubas and some Islamic religious muric humans that play religious politics..

Real politicians would move..

Nigeria politics is a straight cut politics..a repetitive setting.

Just like the new Nass will repeat what happen on the previous elections..
Simply because of the tinubu factor...

Is not beef ..but simply politics..allow the west to keep dreaming...some day they will wake up

Only that this time..their opposition politics won't sail as we all now have access to Internet.. propaganda will be so hard to fly..

For instance..
Abike listed names on Dubai looting, then mention other Nigerians on Saudi.. within 6 hours the names of "other" Nigerians were made available..
If before like 13 years ago...it won't be so..

They keep saying igbos won't smell president..not knowing that they've dug their political grave..

All igbos need is a win ..like they did in 1970 n 1983..

Will kill off the Yoruba connection to power via their Muslims kin..

Those are they people the Islamic fundamentals in the north manipulate in Southwest..for politics.

All I read and seen is pains... Pains ...pains..

Some slaves think they're wiser than their Masters..

They think they are the fountain of wisdom and the rest of us are mumu..

They measure one ..just one success over years of failures...

Houseflies that has come to think themselves eagles...

...what goes up comes down...

Master and slaves political relationship...based on religion might be coming to an end..

If not ended already...

The Masters political young thugs are about taking over ...and the older slaves who think....they can overide young master's ain't getting the drills of the godfather's..power must not leave the family...for family comes first..

God will keep us alive to witness the new young master's and the young slaves..... The old master's are willing to retire..but the old slaves don't ..the want to have a taste of what it feel to be a master..a free born..Forgetting a slave can never be a king in his master's house as long as the master have a son..

I wish every region best in the quest of power...

But some lesson are learnt the hard way.
