Hi everyone, please I have a question under the travel history section where one is expected to put down all trips taken outside his/her country of origin or residence.
My situation is that while I was outside Nigeria studying, I visited Nigeria twice. Am I supposed to list these trips separately in that section or I just put down the total period I was away studying? |

happytbaby: Check my post above. The key is how much can you get today? state that and also state how much you will get upon maturity in July. Use the amount redeemable now as part of your POF calculation and explain. Alternatively, you may still use the amount redeemable in July...(this issue has been debated thoroughly in relation to treasury bills, future value also works) Yes seen. Thank you |

vascey: Thank you so much.
I am requesting a letter of confirmation of balance from them and we are having a few issues:
1. They use the terms life assurance policy/premium and this does not reflect the investment part of the contract but only the insurance part. Someone looking at it may not know I am getting some money from them upon maturity.
2. The duration of my policy is 5 years and expires in July. This means that by July, I will get my money. Will this be okay if I am submitting my application in April and using it as part of my PoF.
3. Finally what was the experience of your friend? And what was the format of the letter she used. Do you know if it was accepted? I have a plan with them as well and mine also matures in July. This is my fear and the reason I haven't requested for a letter from them. Although, I have drafted a mail (which I have edited over and over again) and in that mail, I requested that they state how much I have to date and how much I will get upon maturity in July. |

happytbaby: Financial sales representatives sell basic deposit, investment and loan products and services to individuals and businesses. They work in banks, credit unions, trust companies and similar financial institution.
do you sell loan products? or you have a risk management function? I would go with NOC 6235 because you already mentioned a 'unit head', this will nullify 0122.
[/b] Thank you happytbaby. Yes I have a risk management function and my role is not a supervisory one. Yes NOC 6235 seems like the closest. |

Newmum0615: If you were not approving credit transactions as a team lead, supervisor or head of dept, your best bet would be 6235 as you have stated. I understand your concern with the lead statement, it's always a problem especially with credit risk job functions. @happytbaby abeg help us chook eye for this matter. Thanks Newmum0615 for your response. No, i don't approve credit transactions. That lead statement describes more of the role of a relationship manager. |

Hello everyone, I'm new here. I'll appreciate if someone can help with the NOC for the job description below:
1. Monitor and manage an assigned portfolio of credit assets by making recommendations and assisting head of unit in implementing remedial strategies.
2. Evaluating clients' credit data and financial statements in order to determine the degree of risk involved in restructuring their existing facilities and granting additional facility.
3. Analysing client records and using the data to recommend repayment structure.
4. Evaluating the financial status of clients.
5. Completing credit approval memorandum in respect of restructuring existing facilities and granting new facilities and submitting same to respective credit approval authority and committees for their approval.
6. Conferring with clients to verify their financial/credit transactions.
7. Managing and monitoring of impaired assets with the aim of bringing them back to performing status.
8. Preparing reports about the degree of risk in restructuring existing facilities and granting new credit facilities.
I'm kinda tilting towards 6235 but my fear is the lead statement does not exactly describe it but I didn't find any other code as close as 6235. Thanks in advance |

titigafar: Hello house, I need your advise. I paid for IELTS using a friend's First Bank mobile app. I filled in all my details on the remark before confirming the payment. After this I sent a mail to British Council with the receipt of the transfer. Since then, I didn't get any acknowledgement mail neither was my payment confirmed. A friend linked me up with a contact that works with British Council who I reported the case to, and he said they.have been having issues with people who paid with other people's account, that the remark details are not reflecting on their account. He promised to help see what he can do about this on Monday. Yesterday I got a mail from British Council saying I have 24 hours to make my payment, failure to pay will make them cancel my registration.
Please has anyone here experienced same and how was this resolved? I had the same issue with mine and even got a cancellation mail and naturally, I became really worried and tried to contact them to no avail , I eventually got a confirmation mail from them a day or 2 after that, so if you've sent proof of payment to them, don't worry, by the time they do their reconciliation, they'll send you a confirmation mail. |
