Traveling abroad to attend functions should be properly put on check by Mr. President. Our Country is in dare needs of urgent attention which I considered of more important than attending G7 which our Country is not included. Though your Governance has brought a lots of improvement in two major areas, Corruption and issue of power. In my abode we now enjoy minimum of 12hours electricity daily which I considered a significant improvement and if it can be consolidated upon it will be great. Long Live my President word of advice from me, enough of flying our conditions need fire brigage approach from a set of team yet to be make public.

Politics / A Legacy Worth Embracing :major-general Tunde Idiagbon by heywhytech1(m): 6:44pm On May 26, 2015
A legacy worth embracing I am Writting about a great leader that share the same view with Buhari. The one and only erudite, inteligent, firm, the man that does what
any living homo sapiens born in Nigeria has never done, Major-Genera Babatunde Abdulbaki Idiagbon.

My episode is long but worth reading.

For his uncompromising stance against indiscipline, incorrigible fight against corruption and dying at a relatively young age under a most mysterious circumstance, Major-General BABATUNDE ABDULBAKI .Tundeâ?? IDIAGBON has become a legend of sorts and some will say, a martyr and true hero. But who was this stern-looking, Ilorin-born General many said never smiled? Was it true he never smiled? No. He did smile, as far as I know he smiled at olusegun Obasanjo's farm and was cought on Camera. He was feared so much both at home and abroad, a lot of Nigerians hate him because he was too displined and principled which
Nigeria found to be too strict,he wanted them to be more responsible, more disciplined and more useful.
Even soldiers were totally terrified of him. Some others were so petrified at his mere presence that even Babangida, Abacha and his fellow coup plotters could not execute a coup with Idiagbon on Nigerian soil. If you still want to come, No probs...Just be prepared for anything.

Point1. Getting a Job here is not that easy.
Point 2. Depending on the kinda job u get determines your pay.

Point 3: Cost of living here is soo high.

Think through
Thanks sister and God bless u abundantly, I am trying to make contact that can possibly help in securing Job when I arrive, but I still have one question, considering the type of Job, though am a graduate but am ready to take any kind of job for a start for me to know places and make better connection, can 200k be fairly enough for me for the period of Job hunting, I don't mind sharing bed space OOO because I am not coming for holiday neither to enjoy, am coming for serious business, am practical doing nothing here presently. I will appreciate ur quick response as I need to make a decision now

It is no longer possible to extend the one month visa. that is why many people prefer getting the 3 months visa.

Like I already said, no one can guarantee that you will get a job. Only those coming it with employment visas are sure they have a job when they arrive (assuming its not a problematic job they will want to run away from or a scam). please don't ask me how to get employment visa

On this issue of experience, what kind of job to you aspire to get after a few years? because you can't expect to move on to a managerial or professional job and think that having experience as a laborer or security guard will count.

When we say they want GCC experience, we refer to relevant experience in the same or similar work field.

Do you want to rent or buy a car when you arrive? why do you feel you need an international drivers license?
Thanks Sister I appreciate ur kind gesture, but what do u advice I do now because I have concluded my plan on coming to hunt for Job, I was planing to relocate to SA few months back that was why I resigned from where I was working, I even applied for Sa visa through an agent, due to the negligence of the agent the visa was denied and she promised to reapply before I changed my plan to process UAE. Do u advice I should not come with that one month visa, because the agent said that is the only one he could possibly secure for me.

Obviously you haven't read through the thread if not you will not be asking these questions.

1. It doesn't matter if you are Nigerian or Chinese. Nothing like 2 months visa again. Either 1 month or 3 months

2. No one can guarantee you anything. previously it was very easy to get menial jobs as a last resort but now, there are hundreds of people roaming the streets looking for such menial jobs and they can't find it. Some even search for 3 months and get nothing.

3. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT commit your life savings to making a trip that is not guaranteed to be fruitful. What happens if you don't get a job? do you want to become an illegal migrant? they deport people everyday so don't ruin your chances of ever coming to this part of the world by becoming an illegal migrant.
. Pls is it possible for me to extend the one month visa after expiration? What is percentage of me getting something to do when I arrive, I mean any kind of Job just for me to have the required experience, I have driver's licence and intending to process international driver's licence before I leave. Thanking u in anticipation of ur swift response

Pls guru in the house , I ve discussed with an agent who want to arrange my visa and he charged 60K for one month and I told him I need 2months because am coming to hunt for job but the agent said they don't issue two month visa to Nigerians again. My question is it possible for me to secure job (even if is menial) within one month of that visa validity because I don't want to be deported, am about committing my life savings on this journey

Politics / Causes Of Biafran War And Lesson Learnt by heywhytech1(m): 12:04pm On Apr 24, 2015
They said experience is the best teacher, so as history teaches the citizen about what has happened in the time past. Nigeria history cannot go down well without talking about some boiling issues, amongst which is Biafran Civil war.
The Nigerian Civil War was fought to reintegrate and reunify the
country. This paper will focus on the causes of the war, strategies
employed by the belligerents in the conflict, and the lessons learnt.

INTRODUCTION
The Federation of Nigeria, as it is known today, has never really been
one homogeneous country, for it's widely differing peoples and tribes.
This obvious fact notwithstanding, the former colonial master decided to
keep the country one in order to effectively control her vital resources
for their economic interests. Thus, for administrative convenience the
Northern and Southern Nigeria were amalgamated in 1914. Thereafter
the only thing this people had in common was the name of their country
since each side had different administrative set - up.This alone was an
insufficient basis for true unity. Under normal circumstances the
amagalmation ought to have brought the various peoples together and
provided a firm basis for the arduous task of establishing closer cultural,
social, religious, and linguistic ties vital for true unity among the people.
There was division, hatred, unhealthy rivalry, and pronounced disparity
in development.
The growth of nationalism in the society and the subsequent
emergence of political parties were based on ethnic/tribal rather than
national interests, and therefore had no unifying effect on the peoples
against the colonial master. Rather, it was the people themselves who
were the victims of the political struggles which were supposed to be
aimed at removing foreign domination. At independence Nigeria became
a Federation and remained one country. Soon afterwards the battle to
consolidate the legacy of political and military dominance of a section of
Nigeria over the rest of the Federation began with increased intensity. It
is this struggle that eventually degenerated into coup, counter coup and
a bloody civil war.
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The Nigerian Civil War broke out on 6 July 1967. The war was the
culmination of an uneasy peace and stability that had plagued the Nation
from independence in 1960. This situation had its genesis in the
geography, history, culture and demography of Nigeria.
The immediate cause of the civil war itself may be identified as the
coup and the counter coup of 1966 which altered the political equation
and destroyed the fragile trust existing among the major ethnic groups.
As a means of holding the country together in the last result, the country
was divided into twelve states from the original four regions in May
1967. The former Eastern Region under Lt. Col. Ojukwu saw the act of
the creation of states by decree "without consultation" as the last straw,
and declared the Region an independent state of "Biafra. Continue the reading on my blog. www.heywhyzo.com

NewNigeriaMind:
Dear Brothers and sisters of omo oduduwa,

I want to talk a little about what happened to OPC and APC in south west in nothing more than the next paragraph.

As a Yoruba I noticed over time that our reigning political elites the APC left the Yoruba identity and they picked up Nigeria Identity. Don't be quick to blame Gani Adams. When you are not valued at home, you will seek relevance by any means possible. How much more when dollars is involved. I WATCHED with dismay Fashola obvious lack of foresight to ensure that Lagos agenda is aligned to the rest of the region. APC forgot too soon that the backbone of the party are these area boys and OPC. you will be surprise that militants in this part of the world can make you lose elections. APC became civilized and the party elite abandoned these OPC boys. These "abandoned" people like Gani Adams have been there in waiting for anybody to use.

Still I believe Gani Adams shouldn't have gone all the way like he did, I expect Tinubu to draw these boys closer after this elections and give them relevance. If Jonathan can make Asari Dokubo rich, tompolo multi millionaire, Tinubu should have done the same for OPC.

That being said, recognizing a fault means it can be correctly.

I want to use this medium to call on you all to vote massively for Buhari and Osibanjo. Prof. Osinbajo is a great ambassador of the Yoruba people and I believe he will make a great Vice president. We shouldn't be too carried away with the dollars.

VOTE APC
Incoming government will not entertain any form of act of indiscipline, empowering area boys and future militants like useless and very stupid old grandpa like Gani Adams poses future serious danger to our Land. Say no to terrorism. vote wisely to embrace change and create a better Nigeria. God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria, God Bless our Incoming president Muhammedu Buhari.
