Sharon Ojong, a Nigerian media mogul took to Instagram to narrate how she escaped death after taking drink spiked by a potential rapist at a house-warming party in Lagos. According to the media personality, the past 48 hours has been long and restless with the drug in her system. Sharon Ojong who escaped death after taking the drink spiked by the potential r*pist, disclosed that the suspect is blatantly lying instead of owning up or apologizing for attempting to kill or rape her. She wrote as she shared her video; "I’m so grateful to God for being with me as well as having a proactive friend who was with me and got me out of there ASAP. Although I’ve spoken to medical professionals and taken what I needed to get the acid and ingredients out of my system, the past 48hrs have been long and restless with the drug in my system. I feel extremely disparaged. For a second, i feared speaking out will attract ill-mannered and uncouth comments but he chose the wrong woman. I refuse to be discouraged and silent.___Over two hundred women are being raped daily, with less than a hundred reporting to the police. Very few of these cases will be investigated, prosecuted, and no more than ten will result in a conviction and lenient sentence (with most perpetrators end up serving half their sentence). Most times nothing else has been done to pursue the investigation simply because victims can’t provide any information to take this investigation further. But thank God for social media, this type of men need to be shamed!!!___P/S - For legal reasons, this post was taken down for more investigation. But back up now because I have never doubted my instincts and my suspect is blatantly lying instead of owning up and apologizing for attempting to kill or r*pe me" Watch her video below; See More: https://www.hgsmediaplus.com.ng/2019/03/lagos-media-personality-sharon-ojong.html?m=1

A shocking video has emerged on social media over the weekend showing a colossal brawl involving dozens of scantily-clad women in South Beach, Miami. The cellphone recording, which was uploaded to the video-sharing site FlyHeight.com on Sunday, shows young women dressed in swimsuits and brightly colored beach coverups mercilessly pummeling one another in the middle of the road. A row of vehicles, including a party bus, repeatedly honk for the brawlers to disperse, but they pay little attention to the din as they continue to wallop one another. Multiple young men seen milling about between the brawling women with their cellphones out appear to do next to nothing to try and stop the violence. The video ends with a tangle of partially clothed bodies writhing on the ground in the middle of the roadway. It’s unclear from the video what may have sparked the fisticuffs, or whether police were ultimately called to the scene. Three Nigerian poachers were arrested in Niger with a massive haul of slaughtered game from W National Park which straddles the borders of Niger, Burkina Faso and Benin, officials said Sunday. Forestry agents discovered elephant tusks, giant snake skins and the carcasses or heads of various animals including buffalos and monkeys loaded into two vans in Niger’s southwestern Dosso region bordering the park, a statement said. They also seized a dozen hunting rifles, machetes, six bicycles and various chemical substances, it said. Dosso state governor Moussa Ousmane praised the operation as “an unprecedented… exploit for our agents”. The park, a UN World Heritage site covering some 10,000 square kilometres (nearly 4,000 square miles), contains a vast wealth of fauna and is an important migration sanctuary. Two pupils of an undisclosed secondary school in Iyana Iyesi, Ogun State, have been arrested for the murder of a 15-year-old boy, Kehinde Adebiyi. The teenage pupils, identified simply as Divine and Bolu, reportedly beat the late Kehinde and smashed his head on a concrete pole and left him for dead while he was on an errand to his father’s mechanic’s shop in the neighbourhood on February 21, around 5 pm. City Round learnt that Adebiyi was attacked a few days after his father, Nojeem Adebiyi, challenged the suspects for flashing the beam of their torchlight into his compound around 9 pm, demanding to know their mission in the area. Nojeem was said to have slapped Bolu for being unruly while he (Nojeem) was addressing Divine, just as Kehinde, a Senior Secondary 2 pupil, reportedly cautioned Bolu to stop insulting his father. Our correspondent learnt that Kehinde died the day after the attack at Lagos University Teaching Hospital, Idi-Araba, Lagos, while he was being prepared for surgery. Recounting the ordeal, Nojeem told City Round, during the week, that his son’s death had brought an irreparable loss to the family, adding that the family marked the twins’ 15th birthday last Monday on a very sad note. He said, “Two days ago, around 9 am, two boys, Divine and Bolu, came to my house at Olajesu, Iyana Iyesi. I had not met them before until that day. The twins didn’t know them either before that day. Divine flashed the beam of his torchlight into my compound and I challenged him. I asked him about his mission and held him. Bolu shouted at me and told me to let go of his friend. I told him he was rude and slapped him. “Kehinde cautioned him by telling him not to talk to me like that. I then asked for his house and the following day, I went to report him to his family. I met his guardian and father. “On Thursday, February 21, when the twins returned from school, I sent Kehinde to my mechanic to give him money for the repair of my vehicle. On his way there, they attacked him and smashed his head against a concrete pole. We reported to the police and took him to a hospital. An X-ray was run on his skull. The next day, we were referred to the nearby Federal Medical Centre for a comprehensive test. “We were on our way when Kehinde started acting strangely. We rushed him to LUTH. They were preparing him for surgery when he died.” Nojeem added that when he went to Bolu’s house and met with his father, he said he didn’t know Bolu’s whereabouts. “We later learnt that Bolu and Divine are cult members. My children didn’t go around the community. They were always indoors after returning from school.” The deceased’s twin brother, Taiye, accused their classmate, one Aishat, of instigating Bolu against Kehinde because she had told him they were on his trail. Taiye said, “When Kehinde and I got to school a day after my daddy slapped Bolu for being rude to him, Aisha told us some things about him. She said if our daddy knew who he was, he would not slap him. We asked Aisha to beg him on our behalf. “She said Bolu was angry because we were looking for his house. I told her that we were not looking for him. We later knew it was the same Aisha who lied to Bolu that we were looking for him. “I want justice to prevail. Kehinde must not die just like that. We both wanted to study Electrical Engineering. We were preparing very hard to take the West African Senior Secondary School Examination and Unified Tertiary Matriculations Examination.” It was said that the two suspects and three other accomplices had been arrested by the police from the Onipanu Division. The Ogun State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi, promised to get back to our correspondent with comments on the incident but had yet to do so as at the time of filing this report. However, a source at the Onipanu Division told City Round that the case had been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department, Eleweran, Abeokuta. “The two prime suspects are below 18. They will be charged to a juvenile court,” the source added. See More: https://www.hgsmediaplus.com.ng/2019/03/two-teenagers-kill-15-year-old-boy-in.html?m=1 Cc Lalasticlala

The victims of the s*x trade are kept in appalling conditions, according to a report by Aljazeerah, a Qatari television network. The video revealed that thousands of the victims were kept in chattered shacks located at the outskirt of Kokoyo in western Mali. Many girls said the human traffickers had promised them good lives with well paid jobs in Europe but found themselves trapped in Mali for s*x trade. Ranging from fourteen years old upward, the girls said they were forced to sleep with ten men per day. Some of them as young as 14 years were practically yanked off the street of Nigeria in their school uniforms, the report revealed. A sixteen-year-old teenage mother, also a victim, related that she came to Mali through the Benin Republic. She had been promised by her trafficker a good househelp job in the Europe where she would make a lot from her trafficker but that was reversed immediately she stepped out of Nigeria, as the trafficker turned her to a s*x slave. The 16-year-old girl now has a baby. “I followed her because she (her trafficker) didn’t tell me that I am coming to do ‘ashewo’ (prostitution), and she said I should not tell anybody that I am travelling,”the teenage mother said. The girls even said they were registered by the law enforcement in Mali on arrival. They added that they pay weekly dues to authorities as the government does not have issues with prostitution except it involves minors. Having heard of the situation, the delegation of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) led by the boss, Julie Okah-donli, who visited some of the victims in Mali found it difficult to repatriate all the victims. The rescue efforts were being hampered due to the collusion between Malian law enforcement agents and the traffickers. The traffickers in Kokoyo town of Mali made it clear that Nigerians trying to rescue their citizens trapped in the sex trade is “unwelcome”. Even though some of the girls have paid off the traffickers of an aggressive sum of $2,000 (about N720 thousand), many were still trapped. Relating the status quo, a NAPTIP official, Prosper Michael, said the crime is very difficult to eradicate because there were lots of beneficiaries on the victimised girls. “The people you could have invited to rescue these girls are benefitting every week from them,” he said. However, the anti-trafficking agency was able to repatriate some, while some of the girls had refused to come back to Nigeria stating they are too ashamed to face their families. Julie Okoh, the NAPTIP head, said the girls would not be forced to come back to Nigeria. But for those who will, she said the agency would work with the Nigeria Embassy and the International Organisation For Migration to bring them back to Nigeria. Read the press statement below as released by the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akwa Ibom chapter. We want to alert the nation and particularly, security agencies of the bombing and shootings that took place at the APC Campaign Office along Edet Akpan Avenue, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. The bombing and shooting, which took place at about 7:30 pm on Tuesday March 5, 2019, is another desperate attempt by the People’s Democratic Party, its thugs and militant groups that have swamped the state since the commencement of elections in February this year, to cause large scale violence, capable of preventing the March 9, 2019 from holding. An eye witness account has it that the attackers came to the gate of the campaign office and threw a dynamite, which exploded, into the premises. The loud bang sent party agents, who had gathered for training, scampering for safety. In the ensuing melee, several gunshots were fired into the premises, which left three people badly wounded. Victims of the attack have been taken to a hospital in Uyo for treatment. To prepare the way for what followed later in the evening, the PDP media went to town in the morning with photographs of thugs being loaded somewhere in Edo state, purportedly heading to Akwa Ibom State. A few hours later they went to town announcing the arrival and arrest of the supposed thugs from Edo. Whether the attack on the Campaign office was part of this choreographed narrative or not, the PDP has crossed the red line in their desperation for this week’s governorship election. While we sympathize with those who sustained injuries in the attack, we call on security agencies to get to the roots of this latest onslaught against the All Progressives Congress in Akwa Ibom State. This is another in the series of cowardly attempt at intimidating and cowing our party the APC and its supporters in the build up to the March 9, 2019 governorship election in the state. Some months ago, unknown gunmen fired shots into the bedroom of the APC governorship candidate, Obong Nsima Ekere, at his Ewet Housing Estate residence, with his family members narrowly escaping the attack. The attack at the campaign office is a confirmation of earlier intelligence received by our party of the likely attempt by the PDP to truncate the March 9, 2019 governorship polls in the state. Intelligence at our disposal indicates that faced with imminent defeat at the polls, Gov. Emmanuel and the PDP have decided to disrupt the polls in Akwa Ibom state if they are prevented from carrying out another wholesale electoral robbery like the one they perpetrated during the presidential and National Assembly elections in collusion with the Independent National Electoral Commission. To achieve this ungodly aim, the PDP has continued to wantonly import militants and murderous thugs to intimidate and harass Akwa Ibom people and stop them from freely casting their votes. We warn that our party will not fold her arms and allow the PDP wreck havoc on the state. We appeal to the law enforcement agencies to comb the state, root out all the criminal thugs the PDP has infested the state with and ensure that our people are allowed to freely cast their votes. Akwa Ibom people are resolute in their determination to resist the PDP and INEC in their combined rape of the electoral process in the state. No amount of bombs and scary shootings can change this resolve. Continue Reading: https://www.hgsmediaplus.com.ng/2019/03/unknown-gunmen-allegedly-open-fire-at.html?m=1 Cc Lalasticlala

A man has taken to social media to celebrate one year anniversary of his survival along with wife after being involved in a horrific motor accident in Abuja. According to Ifeanyi Charles Nwoko, the accident which happened last year March, saw his vehicle badly damaged after being hit by another car which was from the airport. Read the full report below as shared by Ifeanyi on Facebook. HOW GOD defeated the devil Exactly one year ago, on the Night of March 3rd, just by the churchgate junction, the devil made an attempt on my life and that of my wife. Coming from Wuse, a car coming from airport rammed into my car from the passenger side where my wife was seated. Impact:. My tyre came off together with the rim and shocks, my chassis bent, my engine bust open and shifted to the other side along with the gear box. My car spun 3 times and stopped. I was scared, I looked at my wife and asked if she was okay she said yes. I came down, pulled her out and we went to the other side of the road. I stepped on my engine oil on the ground while I crossed. When we sat, I was bleeding from the head, my wife was okay just shocked. A good Samaritan took us to the hospital where my head was stitched from two slightly-beyond-minor cuts. My wife’s hand was slightly bruised and that was all for her, apart from the shock. God really came through. Two weeks later, wen I tell people that my head was stitched they find it hard to believe cos of how healed the wound was. Two months later, God blessed us with another car better than the last. Long story short:. God gave the devil multiple jabs for our sake. He saved my wife Adanna Uwaleme Nwoko and I and we remain eternally grateful to him. PLS help us thank GOD, the one that effectively shields us See More Photos: https://www.hgsmediaplus.com.ng/2019/03/man-celebrates-anniversary-of-survival.html?m=1 Cc Lalasticlala

Secretary to the Government of Federation, SGF, Mr Boss Mustapha, said, Monday, that the tough decisions President Muhammadu Buhari will take during his second term will be in the interest of Nigeria. He spoke in an interview with newsmen in Yola, against the backdrop of President Buhari’s recent statement that his second term would be tough. The SGF described the President as a good man, who had the trust of ordinary Nigerians and would like to see improvement in their lives, while the nation moved to the next level. “When we came to power in 2015 about 27 states couldn’t pay salaries; we had to take tough decisions like giving them bail-out and Paris Club refund. These are tough decisions,” he said. He also identified the ban on rice and fertiliser importation as one of the tough decisions taken by the government and which yielded positive results by boosting local production, among other things. He said: “By such tough decisions we are able to raise the number of rice farmers from four million to 12 million and we are about 98 per cent self-sufficient in rice. “Due to the establishment of many fertiliser blending plants after we banned the importation of fertiliser, the product is now available and the prize is going down.” On Saturday’s governorship and state Assembly polls in Adamawa State, the SGF said misunderstanding among APC stakeholders in the state was being resolved to ensure that the party retained the state. He said he had met with the party stakeholders in Abuja and was in Adamawa to further iron out all differences to ensure that the party approached the election as a united family. “I can assure you that we are doing very much in that regard; we had a meeting in my office and my visit now is in furtherance of the meeting. “We are going to come out more stronger, more united, focused with sole resolve of retaining the governorship; we’ll retain Adamawa within the family of APC,” Mustafa said. The SGF said that Buhari supporters should not worry over the loss to Atiku by 32,000 votes in Adamawa, considering the fact that Atiku is from there and had put a lot to win the state. “We were not defeated if you look at the scenario; having the opposition candidate from Adamawa, a former Vice President who is known in Adamawa politics for over 20 years… “We put up a formidable fight to narrow PDP votes to the gap of only 32,000, while our candidate (Buhari) gave PDP a wider gap of 900,000 votes in Katsina. “And if you look at the entire votes in North East, APC exceeded PDP by two million votes; we got 3.2 million, while PDP got 1.2 million,” Mustafa said. The SGF assured that the North East, like other parts of Nigeria, would not regret voting for Buhari.
