We have to begin to act as quickly as we can. More awareness should be raised. This people aint got us in their plans at all. I wish all scholars will speak in one voice and come out to stage a protest action. We must be paid. Its our right!!!
Scholars have been silenced with whatsapp group. If we don't rise up, I doubt anything will happen. One scholar trying to stop our protest called the MD in my presence last Monday, MD said he just directed the Director to commence payment. I don't believe this people anymore though, since they've claimed since last year to be processing payment.

Buhari couldn't exceed 21 months as president in 1984 and the same thing applies today because God never allows him totally destroy Nigeria
Don't be too harsh on him, nobody gets everything right. Inasmuch as Buhari's government are struggling with key policies, none can question his contributions to Nigeria

In as much as I dislike GEJ and policies, I will NEVER be happy that he is ill because it is wrong and I know that one day, I will also become a leader and will get what I wished my past leaders.

Anyone who is happy that his neighbour is going through pains does not deserve to be human.

It could be your turn one day.
You right, but anti-Buharis are not necessarily pro-GEJ, as some who initially supported Buhari did same with an eye single to his death.

Either buhari is dead or half dead, afterall he has been a living dead man.
What makes him a living dead man?
PoliticsReasons Why Nigerians Should Not Pray For Buhari To Recover by Hiccups(op):
I have followed events of President Buhari's sudden vacation to the UK. While some were quick to rumored news of his death, I am opposed to wishing Mr. President dies. However, I have also noticed the call from different quarters asking Nigerians to pray for Mr. President. Whatever happens, I feel the presidency are just to blame and here's the simple reason why you don't have to pray for Buhari:

1. The Presidency have refused to clarify the true situation of things

2. The Presidency have repeatedly insisted Buhari is sound and healthy

3. There is no where (except rumors) Buhari, his family or associates has openly admitted he is sick, so why pray for a man who is not sick?

4. The Vacation was only extended to get test results or conduct more test. Why pray over mere test, when it's just part of routine check up?

5. If you pray for a man who is sound and healthy to recover from sickness, you're indirectly wishing him dead.

Finally, if Mr. President is not sound, let those around him clarify this. Whereas it may make anti-Buhari happy, it will also allow his genuine followers to pray for him. #simple

And his facebook page is : Nsima U Ekere.
We understand its a new government, but he can do better by ensuring that Scholars get paid early enough so that they can concentrate. All hands must be on deck. The bills are so much here, one isnt coping at all.
I'm telling you its not funny. Thanks
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Don't Ever Submit CV In PDF by Hiccups: 1:28pm On Jan 27, 2017
This is very misleading, I would say your ATS needs upgrade. PDF is more of acceptable standard format. However, where ATS of any Organization is not PDF compatible, its the HR business to emphasize word (version if necessary) format

Sorry the correct twitter handle is:@NsimaUEkere. He is working towards a new nddc and I think scholars also need to be captured in his vision of ensuring transparency in the system.

Dear NDDC Scholars,

We've almost put everything in place for protest at the embassy, two UK media are ready to cover this epic event, some British students body have indicated interest to back us up. We're waiting for February ending and demand more 2015 scholars to indicate interest. This will be the biggest ever protest in the UK by an International student group. Your money was approved over a year ago, Some persons can't make you suffer because of greed. #StandUpNow

This is so true. Nairaland is a public forum where anyone can access. They should do the right thing by paying scholars and not advising them to hide under a wassap group. Nddc pay your scholars. Some nddc 2015 scholars who deferred to 2016 are still being owed!
Please help raise this alarm, NDDC 2015 scholars must be paid, it is not nice. Scholars can't make good grades under this circumstance.

Were you able to verified if NDDC has paid 2016/2017 tuition fees and upkeep? They haven't paid anything of Mine.
I don't know if they've paid but I doubt. I contacted them few weeks before Xmas. I was informed Mrs. Sotonye is no longer in Charge of payment, that Seledi Thompson was on sit and they're processing our payment. I don't understand why other scholars choose to allow some paid agent take them off Nairaland.
EducationRe: NDDC POST-GRADUATE FOREIGN SCHOLARSHIP 2015 by Hiccups: 6:17pm On Dec 22, 2016
Dear NDDC Scholars,

Please do not lock in yourselves to whatsapp group, you need the media to know what is going on at NDDC. Nairaland is so helpful, whatsapp group will only let you relate with scholars like you, who can do nothing other than complain. You need the media to keep NDDC on their toes. I suspect some forces within NDDC intends to take all scholars off Nairaland, to effectively keep them off the eyes of media. You can be in whatsapp group if you like, but always visit here to air any grievances. SHINE YOUR EYES

geobukky:
if you are a scholar, join the whatsapp group. Note that you'll be verified before addition.

There was an email sent with urgency for update of school account details on the portal. Most ppl will miss that mail cos it usually goes to spam.
If its the mail sent about 5 months ago, I got it. However, whatsapp group is not as potent as Nairaland, since others sources keeps an eye on threads here and report in media accordingly, thereby expediting actions, Whatsapp group is doing more harm than good, as scholars grievances can't be escalated by media, whatsapp group can never benefit scholars more than here.

Its unfortunate 2016 scholars not discussing all concerns they have or possibly may, right here because of whatsapp or similar group they've joined. Please make no mistake this is the only platform you can relate with previous scholars & other like minds. You don't need any other group. I'm afraid this is dangerous & only wish none will regret such

Police character certificate or some also call it police clearance certificate.

It is a certificate that would be needed(you will need to get it from Nigeria or you can also apply online if you are already in UK) when you are trying to apply for a security license in Uk.
Copied, thanks
