In that case it will be better, but what will happen if the card is genuine but the card holder thumbprint is not valid, if the card holder proceed to vote by threatening the electoral officers, can the vote be invalidated during collation of the votes?

Because what can happen is that electoral officers can be intimidated at polling stations into allowing people with the wrong thumb print but with valid PVC to vote. What will happen in that case?

If it does not verify the cardholder thumbprint and that person is the genuine holder of dat card(thru the photo on it),its the duty of the PO/APO(VP) to verify if the name n card details of that person is in his/her master list n issue dat person a ballot paper dat will be counted or the one dat wont be counted...
secondly,if d person becomes aggressive u just issued him/her d ballot paper dat wont be counted to maintain the peace of ur polling unit or call d attention of the security men.

Now i think there is an ought of truth when APC accuse the federal govt. of intending to form an interim govt.
