martineverest:Thoughts of lectures, assignments and first class won't make him listen sef. |
Moblord:Jesus is Lord, anyway, thanks for the mention anyway, are you born again? |
Ngo40:I gathered resourceful personnel who are most likely to add to the topic. I would call it research, a little here, a little there I don't know most of this monikers I mentioned as in read their chat before creating this thread. All I did was review some former threads that were related to this thread, bring those who had a genuine experience, bring them together to contribute on this thread. Like I said, its research, little here, little there and all you do is Ctrl P and voila, we have a project. |
tommiesyn:Very resourceful thanks for your love sir |

Judedwriter. Sir would you like to share how you use to feel when you started praying like aromas or coldness or anything of such and can you trace such happening(aroma, coldness etc to your physical environment probably the aroma was as a result of the fact you are with friend who sprayed some perfume or probably you just have this flower vase closeby or probably it was hammattan. You know viewers would like to know |
judedwriter:Glory. Permission to ask sir. is it the same obaobaobaoba that you made then that you are still making till date and how many time have you changed the utterance as you were inspired sir. |
GoodMuyis:okay sir. Please include your view before the experience. I mean your [b]skeptical view before the experience,[\b] cause this is like healing school bro, I call it casting down imaginations. I hear people say presumptive things about the topic but they seeing so many different view would change some |

This thread is one that I just was inspired to write. When we look around Christianity. We see differing view about what Baptism of the Holy Spirit is. Please do not comment as though you have experienced the baptism. Your questions about this subject are welcome and peradventure you are interested in the baptism, kindly follow or mention one of the names below in the comment section. We advise that you do not give a misguided view about what you feel the subject should be about. Thanks P.S. I said testimony not assumption. Thanks Scriptural reference for personal research First, you need to understand God promised the disciples the baptism, evidently all Christians. So, the moment you are born again, you have every right to partake of this glorious inheritance. These verses gives us a picture of it in the old testament Exodus 11:24-27, 1 samuel 19:18-24 and Joel2:28-31 These verses shows us what's Gods promise to them who would believe. Matthew 3:11, John 14:26-(note this words in this verses- teach you all things-future past and present; bring all things to your remembrance-past ), John 16:13(guide you into all truth-present, past and future; show you things to come-futurisitic). Other verses are Acts 1:5, Acts1:8, Biblical ways to receive the baptism Acts 2:2-4(they received it while praying), Acts 8:14-17(laying of hands) notice they have been baptised yet not one single of those that did water baptism received the baptism until the coming of Peter and John v12-13, and v16 Acts 10:44-48(they received it) notice they have not done water baptism v47-48 Acts 19:1-7(laying on of hand, note they were evangelist, evidently born again, but yet they were not endewed yet. They preached John the Baptist: they were baptised by water yet they do not have this experience) For more references see Romans 8:26-27, Jude 1:20, lemme shock you, do you know the Holy Spirit through Paul commands that we should not forbid to speak in tongues-1 corin 14:39, now here is my problem with many people, they say all sort of thing, this and that, now, if I asked nicely, if you were interested and you feel I was forcing you to say some gibberish that I mutter to you and you mutter the same back to me, then you know its fake, but if you happen to speak it as the spirit direct or gives you utterance, then, you know this thing is real. At least, Paul said, I speak in tongues more than ye all. All of those tongues couldn't be in the church, and also, if you were in the church, all we want is, do not disturb with your tongue, let it be between you and God. So evidently, if someone happen to teach you those tongues, then, you can pull back immediately, they leave. And by the way, how would you know you are speaking in tongue when there is no one to guide you. |
Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Baptism is symbolic of our repentance. Baptism is a picture of the burial and resurrection of Jesus. If you do 50 times, Heaven is only interested in seeing a holy man not living after the flesh. But I would advise you ask or seek for the fresh baptism and infilling of the Holy Spirit. Acts 1:5 Matthew 3:11 Acts 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire: see Acts 19:1-7. One of the benefits of baptism of the Holy Spirit is, you start seeing how real spiritual things are. |
JMAN05:I agree with you. |
The Holy Spirit once.told me. If you need a terrorist. Just seek people with passion and feed them the right food. Actually, we were not talking about terrorism |
I gat living water, you will never taste again |
mhizesther:Please take your.relationship with God serious. I would like to know if you attend a Pentecostal church or you delight in spitting at spiritual gift always claiming they are not for you. Sorry I insulted you in my previous comment, somehow its helping |

[ An2elect2:I can believe and not confess, like the pagans do and lemme ask? how do you know someone is saved or born again if not that they confessed An2elect2:Does his non confession even when he believes make him save An2elect2:loooooooool, I would let that slide An2elect2:Whosoever believeth in Him should not perish pls I would recommend matt mark Luke and John before that's where life is An2elect2:says they were never saved pls explain, with reference pls Well, I would be waiting An2elect2:ooooooh yessss, he that sinneth is of the devil, you lost it 100%,but we can always have it because it was freely given unto us from Genesis An2elect2:Grace, do you know another name for grace is Jesus dying for our sins. That was why the angel at salutation said, hail Mary full(pregnant) of grace(Jesus)Titus2:11 John1:17, 2cor8:9 An2elect2:is it true we do not deserve ? cause God told satan in Gen3:15, that the seed shall bruise his head. That was as far as the day man fell and you still claim we do not deserveAn2elect2:Hebrews 10:14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Forever has He perfected our sins, Jesus overcame and made a public show of luIifer and his angels. Grace is Jesus overcoming and making us to sit far above that at the mention of his name the devil trembles. If the name is that powerful then Jesus does not need to come again, speak in a word, that's case close well, do you know Jesus must need die Hebrew 2:14-15 An2elect2:hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Lemme just tell you, everything in the Bible that you need is in Matt, Mark, Luke and John, I thought you would understand but I would explain, everything you need present (Matthew Mark Luke and John) past (Gen to Malachi) future(Acts 2-Revelations) is in Matthew Mark Luke and John |
UbChapter:Have you ever asked why people voted for APC, lemme ask, didn't you see fulfilment on the face of people when APC took over, that tells me people needed PDP out. I understand the recession thing, if people knew this would happen. We might not have APC in power. Its like we hated PDP now, the PDP Nigerians voted out with passion is what we desire now. do u see the irony in that |
I pray he pays those pending salaries. Cause construction companies are the only people who might finally gain from this fund |
The PDP we hated is the PDP we wish is in power. God bless Nigeria |
sarrki:He sure should be able to talk about politics. In my own view, he have freedom of speech |
ultimate77:Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. A man can sow maize, sure he would reap maize Gal6:7 The same man can clear the maize, and start over again, this time let's say millet 2corin5:17 Assuming there was another farmer who planted millet from the onset, he(2nd farmer) would have a quicker harvest compared to the 1st farmer that planted maizeplantedaize while others are Planting millet. I think think you should like this graphics. My phones screen is quite bad reading this should be clearer now Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit. 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. This should answer your question Once the tree is good, it becomes good, if the tree becomes bad, it is totally bad, so you either give your life to Christ and start living right and God would see a good tree. |
Excellentlady:Am,looking forward to seeing a thread from you in religion section Follow back Thanks |
An2elect2:If we win salvation then its no more by faith. Faith is by works, we won't receive eternal salvation if we don't confess. Our confession is a work which is also faith One can draw back in the faith and as a result lose their salvation. Paul said we are not of them that draws back unto perdition. 1 john 2:1, "this thing I write unto you that you sin not" writing to the saints in the church Well, I still don't understand the concept behind eternal salvation, but my opinion is, once any1 sin, he's likened to the prodigal son who lost his salvation and his fellowship and he realised that and came back. I think we need to read more of Matthew, Mark Luke and John and put them first always and not only that, using those four book as a guide in interpreting whatever the Bible state thereafter. Thanks |
An2elect2:I saw your signature, saying we can't win or lose our salvation. I need enlightenment ma |
