well, you explain the Bible with the Bible, meaning, you interprete a verse by what similar verse are saying.

There are four other places tongues was made mentioned in acts and it was not mentioned that someone understood what they said. Thank the religious teacher who taught you those anyway.

I kept asking this friend of mine, what the pastor told him, and I was like, I shouldn't worry. He was the strict type, so I didn't waste my time pressing him for more information, knowing he won't say anything. I kept wondering what it could be. Probably I did something and they want to correct me.

One evening at about 11pm, he called me to this place where people pray on campus. I had to rush to the place as I kept wondering what it was again this time. I got to the place and he started asking questions as to, if I know what baptism of the Holy Ghost was and I said, no, he said one or two things. He said, when he starts praying for me, I should look inwardly and I would hear a voice speaking and whatever the voice says, I should repeat and vocalize.


We started praying, and I would fall under power as he kept praying but I was never spoke anything. He kept telling me to search inside me, knowing fully well that by now, the voice should have been saying things to me. I was hearing this ba ba ba ba ba ba sound inside me, but I was like, the holy spirit can't be saying that. Then he told me, I am actully doubting the sound which happens to be the sound, so I decided I should say it out just to get confirmation from himn, and that was it.

This friend eventually invited me to his church at our first meeting in school. He has noticed that I was posting some christian related post on facebook. He felt this was his chance. I got to the church, and I saw a congregation of about 15 people in a small venue. I was like, my former fellowships hall cell meetings have more people than here. Out of sympathy, I volunteer to join the church. After three sundays, the pastor of the student fellowship said she notice I don't speak in tongues. And I was like "I don't speak in tongues" and moreover, a class mate of mine once told me people do learn it.

The next week at church, she said, she gave that friend of mine an assignment, to do and it concerns me. But one thing I don't seem to understand, I was with them during this evangelism and she was like, she likes my hand and wants to shake me. For my mind, I was thrown away #blushing. So she shook me, and she said the same thing again and shook me again, I was thinking to myself, this thin won dey too much ooooo.


But I noticed, that as I was leaving our point of convergence for evangelism for my hostel. My eyes were dim. I didn't know what happened and I had too pull myself together, my eyes kept going dim, like I was feeling sleepy. I got to my room and slept off. I didn't know she was imparting me while she was shaking me.

As time passed by, I started doing all manner of immoralty and this friend of mine who was a Christian would always come looking for me for some reason unknowing and annoying to me.


I was in this habit of being spiritually active -as I rarely go to church in school- at home and I fall when I come back to school. But this friend would come to me, he was a class mate of mine, so he always know one or two things to say.



At the end of semester, I got home and as school was about to resume. I know it would still be the normal normal. My mum would always give me this anointing oil which I would never touch through out the semester. I said to myself, seeing this friend of mine was spiritual active. I felt probably staying with him for the new session would keep me from going back to the mud. I always feel this void in me whenever I sin and I want to keep this peace I have at all cost.

I was an anglican, I so much loved God. Took holy communion, never saw the reason to read the Bible, I have this catholic bible which I love reading the commentaries t the side of the Bible. It all went like that. I was thought that was all to Christianity.


I was living this unsatisfactory life. I always don't like going to church on sunday, after all the tears and appeal to God that this would be the last time such wrong would repeat itself. It kept happening like that, constantly begging God for yet one more chance with all sincerity.

I still was not faithful to my countless request for one last chance, until I felt, well, I should have used up my chances. I was admitted to a popular university in Nigeria where I met thid friend who told me it was cool to listen to hip hop and worldly raps and still be saved. He sugar talked it away, and I took to many worldly songs.


There are times I would delete and collect whenever I come across him and he tells me how a particular musician killed a new song, then, I say to myself, just this one song and I would delete it, having listened to it

Lemme ask, before rain falls, according to water cycle, there must have cloud formations brought about by evaporation and all of that. Evidently, the sun did a great job. But my worry is despite all the evaporation for almost 5-6 month of dry season. One rain didn't fall all through. Just curious though

3. Condensation can occur at any time, rain will fall once the clouds reach critical mass regardless of the time

But this eminent domain is only for the lifetime of the soldier(man). Meaning, the soldier can rent,(commit treason) or lease the land(Luke4:6). Provided he's alive. But the moment the soldier dies(rapture). All the land and development goes back to the state(God)

I was praying recently and I begin to hear in prayer. There are many vultures disguising as Christians.

Well, I think we have not seen the best of God. But I so much believe, that a time would come when the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of the Lord as water covereth the sea. I am so confident that we shall have people, discerning between good and evil. Churches shall be empty and the vultures shall fade out gradually.
