Loooooool, Ogbeni Lala, are we still in business? |
2 Peter 1 20 knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, b 21 for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God c spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. |
in context, not out of context Evidently, somethings led to that utterance. When you post the rest, am sorry I think its said, no prophecy is of private interpretation. You don't interpretate because its written, you interpret because you know the author, who knows the intent or the reason he wrote what He wrote. Evidently, Holy Men wrote, men wrote what they are carried to say and someone wrote it, ask Baruch, he did a good job, twale to the Host of Heaven. What did I forget to say yea, controversial posts as this get to FP for a reason I disagree with |

MrPresident1:Psalm Chapter 22 1 KJV:My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? 2 KJV:O my God, I cry in the day time, but thou hearest not; and in the night season, and am not silent. 3 KJV:But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel. 4 KJV:Our fathers trusted in thee: they trusted, and thou didst deliver them. 5 KJV:They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in thee, and were not confounded. 6 KJV:But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. 7 KJV:All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, 8 KJV:He trusted on the Lord that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. 9 KJV:But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou didst make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts. 10 KJV:I was cast upon thee from the womb: thou art my God from my mother's belly. 11 KJV:Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help. 12 KJV:Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round. 13 KJV:They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion. 14 KJV:I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. 15 KJV:My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. 16 KJV:For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet. 17 KJV:I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me. 18 KJV:They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture. 19 KJV:But be not thou far from me, O Lord: O my strength, haste thee to help me. 20 KJV:Deliver my soul from the sword; my darling from the power of the dog. 21 KJV:Save me from the lion's mouth: for thou hast heard me from the horns of the unicorns. 22 KJV:I will declare thy name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise thee. 23 KJV:Ye that fear the Lord, praise him; all ye the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all ye the seed of Israel. 24 KJV:For he hath not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither hath he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard. 25 KJV:My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him. 26 KJV:The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the Lord that seek him: your heart shall live for ever. 27 KJV:All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the Lord: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee. 28 KJV:For the kingdom is the Lord's: and he is the governor among the nations. 29 KJV:All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul. 30 KJV:A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation. 31 KJV:They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he hath done this. |

I see Dawkin as Paul who brought the early church on their heels, pushing Philip to Samaria(Acts8) and Peter to Caesarea, the good part is, at least, someone would agree with the other and unity (Eph4:11-13) would spring out on its own accord. Africa get ready. Its coming. We are the labourers |

JastSiryin:my brother, spiritual things can't be explained, a lot of those liked my reply doesn't know what I meant by saying that. But when I see and look at people, sometimes things, I know if they are demonic, it's a knowing. its a natural thing with me. Well, you said you are a Christian. Its a gift I got after I was baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. One thing about speaking in tongues is, it builds you spiritual. see Jude 1:20 and Romans 8:26-27, lemme help you with the verses cause I can see that you thirst for spiritual things and I know that because I never wanted to make this reply long, but I even want to explain things Jude 1:20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Paul said, I WILL pray with my spirit and I WILL, he has the ability and the will to choose to speak in tongues or choose not to speak in tongues 1 Corinthians 14:15 What is it then? I will pray with the spirit, and I will pray with the understanding also: I will sing with the spirit, and I will sing with the understanding also Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. From the above, you would notice tongues was spoken of in relation to prayer, not a language of communication as many solely think its used for. |

beautydutch:Romans 5:5 KJV:And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 6 KJV:For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. 7 KJV:For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. 8 KJV:But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. |
chairman010:Romans 10:1 KJV:Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 KJV:For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 KJV:For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 KJV:For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. 5 KJV:For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. 6 KJV:But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above ![]() 7 KJV:Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) |
MrPresident1:Psalm 37 1 KJV:Fret not thyself because of evildoers, neither be thou envious against the workers of iniquity. 2 KJV:For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 KJV:Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. 4 KJV:Delight thyself also in the Lord: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart. 5 KJV:Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6 KJV:And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday. 7 KJV:Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. 8 KJV:Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. 9 KJV:For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the Lord, they shall inherit the earth. 10 KJV:For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. 11 KJV:But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 12 KJV:The wicked plotteth against the just, and gnasheth upon him with his teeth. 13 KJV:The Lord shall laugh at him: for he seeth that his day is coming. 14 KJV:The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. 15 KJV:Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. 16 KJV:A little that a righteous man hath is better than the riches of many wicked. 17 KJV:For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the Lord upholdeth the righteous. 18 KJV:The Lord knoweth the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. 19 KJV:They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20 KJV:But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the Lord shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. 21 KJV:The wicked borroweth, and payeth not again: but the righteous sheweth mercy, and giveth. 22 KJV:For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. 23 KJV:The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. 24 KJV:Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand. 25 KJV:I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. 26 KJV:He is ever merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed. 27 KJV:Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore. 28 KJV:For the Lord loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. 29 KJV:The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. 30 KJV:The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. 31 KJV:The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. 32 KJV:The wicked watcheth the righteous, and seeketh to slay him. 33 KJV:The Lord will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. 34 KJV:Wait on the Lord, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it. 35 KJV:I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. 36 KJV:Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found. 37 KJV:Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. 38 KJV:But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. 39 KJV:But the salvation of the righteous is of the Lord: he is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 KJV:And the Lord shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in h |
MrPresident1:Psalm 147 147 Praise ye the Lord: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. 2 The Lord doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. 3 He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. 4 He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. 5 Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. 6 The Lord lifteth up the meek: he casteth the wicked down to the ground. 7 Sing unto the Lord with thanksgiving; sing praise upon the harp unto our God: 8 Who covereth the heaven with clouds, who prepareth rain for the earth, who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains. 9 He giveth to the beast his food, and to the young ravens which cry. 10 He delighteth not in the strength of the horse: he taketh not pleasure in the legs of a man. 11 The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy. 12 Praise the Lord, O Jerusalem; praise thy God, O Zion. 13 For he hath strengthened the bars of thy gates; he hath blessed thy children within thee. 14 He maketh peace in thy borders, and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat. 15 He sendeth forth his commandment upon earth: his word runneth very swiftly. 16 He giveth snow like wool: he scattereth the hoarfrost like ashes. 17 He casteth forth his ice like morsels: who can stand before his cold? 18 He sendeth out his word, and melteth them: he causeth his wind to blow, and the waters flow. 19 He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. 20 He hath not dealt so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them. Praise ye the Lord. |

The dark age is described as the period between when the early church and the modern church was threatened and heavily persecuted. In those time, it was a crime if you identify with Christians, else you would be killed or face tough persecution, until finally, some group of those who loves the Christians race got into power. Then they established the Catholic church, but with governmental powers, after much battling and protest that the common man should have the Bible by a Catholic scholar John Wycliffe, who claimed the Catholics preached the Bible out of contest. He advocated that everyone should have a copy of the Bible, and he was the first person to translate the Bible. Most of the works that were done in those period was not to understand what Christianity was because to those on the listening side, they didn't have the Bible except they hear from the mouth of the priest. Moreso, those that have the Bible only consider it as a book, which they cunningly use to exploit the uninformed mass. This is a truthful saying and worthy of all acceptation that my people are destroyed because of the lack of knowledge. John Wycliffe having faced many charges, withdrew to translating the Bible, the new testament. After the survival of the remnants, Christianity took form and knowledge came, when knowledge came, light was flooded in the heart of men. Until finally, men longed for more of God with the Lord confirming their words with signs following.
