from pictures on the wall, to movies and books, the rendition of Jesus is always a handsome light skinned man, not black obviously, with beard all over his face and long feminine looking hair which i can't even boast of as a lady, If you grew up in a religious Home you can relate to this, im sure there's no photograph or portrait of Jesus when he was on earth, so How did they know what he looks like?

well, someone started it and the others took to it, just a general view of how those who hail from the town Jesus came. it's just like Chinese, they look alike kinda, just saying. I don't believe those pictures and its funny some hang and buy them in their house. I won't even paste such pics on my Facebook and I might block whoever tags me with such pictures.

Interesting. That means Paul was teaching them how to get saved right? And not how salvation by grace alone happens?

If it's the former, like you mean and from what I got from your posts, it means you got saved by yourself and salvation cannot be the sole work of God.

And if it's the latter, it means Paul was still maintaining salvation is by grace but telling believers how this type of salvation happens i.e starts from God giving a man a new heart to believe completely and then he inevitably confesses and is declared saved.

I think we have both talked about this subject of grace on many occasions, the question is, should I do it again in other to prove a point I have tried to prove overtime.

If I believe, [faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God] and I confess haven believed and I call, i shall be saved.

who is grace? Jesus

what did I believe in? that Jesus died for my sin that i might have life more abundantly.

If I do not believe, I would not confess.

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

only those who believe are saved

Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

I think this understanding would get anyone saved compare to teaching grace, but lemme ask, define grace according to the Bible, as your often emphasis on Eph2:8, but like I would always say. Grace is Jesus Christ and like I will also say also, like scriptures says in 2 Corinth 13:1. in the mouth of two or three witness shall every word be established. I think two or three verses would be good in your explanation of what grace is.

Well, I will disagree with you if you say grace is what we don't deserve, by the way, what's your definition for salvation. Do you mean total salvation when the person is very perfect or salvation as in at the point of repentance if you believe in that.

I think this would be the last time we would be having this conversation.

If Jesus Christ is the mother of God(Jesus Christ) who then created Mary?

About who created who. Lemme ask, who owns the child, the Father or the mother and who's the Father of Jesus. Well, my answer is God. if God is the Father, then we call Jesus the Son of God and if He was born by Mary, we call Him Son of man and about a man dying or not being able to die for another.

Jesus is not fully a man. Even the birth of Jesus explains that, God made Mary pregnant with Jesus. So, we believe, God is the Father side to Jesus, meaning, Jesus had a part of Him that is not man, and it was not that part that was man that saved man, it was the spiritual side that brought salvation.

Heb2:14-15 shows what Jesus did by His spirit, flesh or man can't do that. thanks

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; 15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Through death, it was the spirit that God breathed on Mary that could have been alive with the ability to destroy the devil who was death himself

Well, dreams are informative, check your dream and speak Gods word over the dream. in my case, if a situation has not been properly dealt with, I will see it again in my dream until I have dealt with it properly in prayers

this is the interpretation.

yea, what does the word say over the dream and have you spoken Gods word to put the dream to check. its not about what the dream suggests, but what God had said that negates what you have seen in the dream.

Finally, after the death of John, see what Jesus said.

Matthew 17
10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why ten say the scribes that Elias must first come? 11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first- come, and restore all things. 12 But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them. 13 Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

From the above, its called prophecy fulfilixoux

As concerning Enoch, no prophecy was made, not in old or new testament. My point is Elijah has come and has died as John the Baptist Matt 17:12-13

No prophecy, No manifestation
