Everyone should move on until you catch him. Since he's from imo, he will return.
FamilyRe: Dear Mummy!stop Going Naked In Front Of Your Male Kids. by HiFreda(f): 6:30am On May 17, 2020
I think it is appropriate to be decently dressed in front of your growing children.
Also, parents who bathe with their children,
Stop it!!!!
Bathe the child and then take your bath. Stop going naked with your children in the name of taking a bath.

More cooking assignments.
Apart from food, you will clean the house, go to the market, stock the fridge, do laundry and go lay on the bed to fulfil his sexual urges.
He gets a maid and a sex partner almost for free.
What does he bring to the table?
FamilyRe: After Serving Him Food, He Said I Didnt Give Him Drinking Water by HiFreda(f): 6:06pm On May 14, 2020
This desperation to become 'wife' will make you end up in a bad marriage.
He's even manipulating you, asking if that's how you will behave when his mother is there....
.
One month relationship and you are already slaving away in his house, and very soon his family house. At the end of it all, his family will say they don't like you, or you're not from their village.
.
Better wise up and set the tone for your relationship. What you can't continually do, don't start.
.
P. S If cooking for the world is your passion, please do it. But don't grudgingly do it and come on Nairaland to ask us if his attitude towards you is appropriate. Let traditional man go and marry traditional woman. Don't think you can change him.
FamilyRe: Placing The Wrong Emphasis On Work (aka Earning A Living) by HiFreda(f): 1:17am On May 11, 2020
Maybe I don't understand the thread.
My thought is this.
Discovering who you are as a person is key and the concept of 'purpose' is based on personal interpretation.
While some people believe that they are on earth for a 'reason', some other people believe that you create your own purpose.
This is multifaceted. Not everyone derives joy and fulfilment from marriage, kids, work, and there is no formula to achieving happiness.
.
If you're basing your argument on your religious point of view, not everyone believes in that.
If you're making an argument on
Marriage vs Work= Fulfilment of Purpose
Then it does even begin to cover the idea of fulfilment of purpose, which some people do not even believe exists.
FamilyRe: Placing The Wrong Emphasis On Work (aka Earning A Living) by HiFreda(f): 5:52pm On May 10, 2020
Are you saying we should place emphasis on 'marriage' over 'work'?

You didn't direct us to where we should focus on

BusinessRe: Nigerian Billionaires Lose Billions Amid Coronavirus Pandemic by HiFreda(f): 7:40pm On May 06, 2020
Spice1:
Good for them!

After all how many lives did they safe?

I wonder if they gave out palliatives to their kinsmen , environs, establishments and et Al than given to the Nigerian government

Mtcheeeew!
Bone head!!
Their establishments gave jobs to thousands of people, who were in turn able to make a living and feed their families.
Now that their businesses are down, they will be forced to disengage many staff, leading to an increase in unemployment and poverty.
Having a job after this pandemic is more important than any useless 20k palliative anybody can give you.
EducationRe: Does A Masters Degree Guarantee Jobs? by HiFreda(f): 11:01am On May 06, 2020
No.
You can have masters degrees, but job experience trumps many certificates.
What's your area of specialization?
Work small jobs that are related to your field. 6 months, 10 months, 18 months work experience and do the masters degree on the side.
By the time you are done with the masters, you should have like 2 years combined experience.

FamilyRe: My Wife's Sexual Life Dropped by HiFreda(f): 10:46am On May 02, 2020
DaInferno:
a "wife" should ask the husband for help if the work is too much for her alone, or better still get a househelp... and not reject sex for the reasons u mentioned. you make it sound as if men just sit around and gbam: baby I need sex!
I agree that communication is key and one should request help when needed.
However, my post is not to bash "Men".
He can take the initiative to assist around the house. I also said they should do things 'together' as this could serve as a form of bonding and the wife might be more inclined to reveal what the real issues are.
.
Getting a househelp is not the easiest thing in the world or the solution to all problems. It is also a financial burden on the family which we don't know if they can afford.
FamilyRe: My Wife's Sexual Life Dropped by HiFreda(f): 5:29am On May 02, 2020
It is tasking running a home, taking care of kids and husband and doing chores, cooking round the clock.
.
If you want more sex, help her in the house chores. Do some work together in the house to ease the pressure on her. If she's not so under pressure, she'll be more open to your sexual needs.
FamilyRe: My Girlfriend Confessed To Having Multiple Abortions For Her Ex by HiFreda(f): 7:37pm On Apr 30, 2020
Everyone is talking about the ladies who have had abortions.
What of the men who rejected the pregnancies and encouraged the abortions? They are abortionists too. Some of the men commenting here have had 2-3 abortions too.
Infact, it is difficult to find a man who has not had an abortion.
Guys who have had 2-3 abortions would be complaining about a girl who confessed to one abortion. Hypocrisy!!
.
Let birds of a feather flock together biko!

FamilyRe: Opposite Sex For Professional Services by HiFreda(f): 6:39am On Apr 29, 2020
I don't like male hairdressers.
I know they are good sometimes, but in my 2 experiences with them, they approached my hair like they were hunting in a wilderness.
It hurt. So I stay away.
.
I wouldn't want Masseurs for myself or my partner.
.
Also, those local guys who help you get on a horse at the beach, or help you cross a river/flooded area, uncomfortable.

See, the sky doesn't usually fall when a child gets pregnant. Forget all the brouhaha.
Las las, everything will be fine.
Ego will not allow your father admit that he failed as a parent.
You guys should go tell elders in your family, like aunts or uncles he listens to. They will be the ones to inform him of the pregnancy.
