Please send pictures, do I need to include consent form? Ayodeji787: No dude, the one you were given at VAC, it was stamped with the photocopy of your passport and it has a form that you wrote your name on it, it was talking about biometric and infact your receipt should be stampled with it self.
Should I send you a sample picture? |

This inquiry is for my brother, he has renewed his passport. Hopefully, he will get the new passport in two weeks. My question is this; can he send the passport with the expiry date October 2019 to the embassy and when traveling to Canada, he will show them the new passport and the other passport (expiring date October 2019) or he wait till he get the renewed passport before sending it to the embassy/VAC. |

How did you do medical in the US? Did your wife do medical too? neverlosehope: This thinking is incorrect.
I am presently in Canada studying with my family. We applied together and our visas were approved together. Also, I have many of my colleagues who applied together with their family and their visa were approved.
A family of mine started his program in UBC this January. He applied for his study visa along with his family at the same time and all the visas were approved. He came in for Masters degree and not PhD.
Thanks |

Thanks. I was told to pay a deposit of $250 to confirm my seat. Do I have to pay this before applying for the study permit? Frankrobbn1: Use your current transcripts for master's and apply for your study permit. Make an effort to state in your SOP that your master's degree certificate will be ready by June/July hence you didn't attach it with your application but have included a copy of your transcripts. You should be fine with that. |

Should I use my current transcript for masters when applying for a study permit or what do you suggest I do in this area? Other documents are in place except my master's certificate which will be ready in July I guess... GboyegaD: Don't wait. Kindly go ahead and apply. I was in same situation years back. I will advice you use the online option cos it is less stressful. |

Hi,
I'm actually not new on this thread. I could not have access to my old account. I will be graduating with master's program soon and I have been admitted in a school in Canada for Ph.D. with funding. My question is; should I wait till I graduate before applying for a study permit or I can apply now? |
