HoluwarTohbar: Mama Taraba is well versed in the use of media propaganda.
She and her Godfather are behind the so called fake publication.
They know the game too well. They know buhari will soon unleash his state agents on them, so attack first has become their defence.
Anyways, na dem dem. Tinubu is smarter than them all...dude kept his distance, kept his mouth shut, fine-tuning plan B!
BTW, is there anything in the said fake publication that's not already in the public domain? Some women lost their brains to the heat of hair dryers. You are a typical example |

Jonathan did not lose because of any chemistry you did, he simply lost because Nigeria needed change due to his style of leadership. Politics › BREAKING: Appeal Court Affirms Removal Of George Sekibo As Senator by higherpower(op): 1:20pm On Aug 24, 2017 |
— 24th August 2017 The Appeal Court has dismissed an appeal filed by Sen. George Sekibo challenging the judgment of the Rivers State National Election Tribunal which removed him as Senator representing Rivers East Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
The Appellate Court held that Sekibo’s appeal lacked merit as it did not show facts as to why the decision of the lower court should be set aside.
The three man panel of the Court held that Sekibo only reproduced his closing remarks at the end of the hearing at the tribunal, but did not challenge the decision reached by the tribunal.
The panel also held that it is the law, were an issue is not challenged the court has no businesses considering it. (Channelstv)

Politics › Broadcast By President Muhammadu Buhari, August 21, 2017. by higherpower(op): 7:22am On Aug 21, 2017 |
BROADCAST BY PRESIDENT MUHAMMADU BUHARI, AUGUST 21, 2017. My dear citizens, I am very grateful to God and to all Nigerians for their prayers. I am pleased to be back on home soil among my brothers and sisters. 2. In the course of my stay in the United Kingdom, I have been kept in daily touch with events at home. Nigerians are robust and lively in discussing their affairs, but I was distressed to notice that some of the comments, especially in the social media have crossed our national red lines by daring to question our collective existence as a nation. This is a step too far. 3. In 2003 after I joined partisan politics, the late Chief Emeka Ojukwu came and stayed as my guest in my hometown Daura. Over two days we discussed in great depth till late into the night and analyzed the problems of Nigeria. We both came to the conclusion that the country must remain one and united. 4. Nigeria's unity is settled and not negotiable. We shall not allow irresponsible elements to start trouble and when things get bad they run away and saddle others with the responsibility of bringing back order, if necessary with their blood. 5. Every Nigerian has the right to live and pursue his business anywhere in Nigeria without let or hindrance. 6. I believe the very vast majority of Nigerians share this view. 7. This is not to deny that there are legitimate concerns. Every group has a grievance. But the beauty and attraction of a federation is that it allows different groups to air their grievances and work out a mode of co-existence. 8. The National Assembly and the National Council of State are the legitimate and appropriate bodies for national discourse. 9. The national consensus is that, it is better to live together than to live apart. 10. Furthermore, I am charging the Security Agencies not to let the successes achieved in the last 18 months be a sign to relax. 11. Terrorists and criminals must be fought and destroyed relentlessly so that the majority of us can live in peace and safety. 12. Therefore we are going to reinforce and reinvigorate the fight not only against; · elements of Boko Haram which are attempting a new series of attacks on soft targets · kidnappings, farmers versus herdsmen clashes, · in addition to ethnic violence fuelled by political mischief makers. We shall tackle them all. 13. Finally, dear Nigerians, our collective interest now is to eschew petty differences and come together to face common challenges of; · economic security, · political evolution and integration · as well as lasting peace among all Nigerians. 14. I remain resolutely committed to ensuring that these goals are achieved and maintained. I am so glad to be home 15. Thank you and may God bless our dear Nation.

Politics › Re: 2019: 7 PDP ‘heavyweights’ That May Slug It Out With Buhari by higherpower: 11:57am On Aug 20, 2017 |
PassingShot: Where are the heavyweights?
Makarfi cannot win his state Kaduna against Buhari. El Rufai is there to checkmate him.
Atiku will struggle to win any other state outside Adamawa.
Kwankwaso has a formidable match in Ganduje to share Kano's votes.
Forget Dankwabo. He's too inexperienced to even mount a serious fight against PMB.
Fayose won't even win Ekiti state let alone the entire SW.
Bottom line: If PMB recovers completely and decides to run for a second term, none of these guys can win him in the NE and NW, and he will do very well in NC too. The votes he needs in the SW will easily come from Lagos, Oyo, Osun and Ogun plus Ondo where he worked to install the governor.
Also, the knowledge that a Yoruba man will most likely succeed PMB after 2023 will easily make him win in SW hands down.
SE and SS won't matter much as a handful of states will give more than the required 25% needed there.
Make Una forget online ranting and Nairaland "likes", PMB still holds the trump card. Your knowledge is legendary. Take one Moet for my head. |

instead of you to make use of the FOI bill by going to the House of Assembly to seek for the 2017 budget, then carefully peruse it if there is anything like N9bn meant for any lodge anywhere

Politics › Inibehe Effiong Ongoing Protest In Uyo Against Gov Udom #9.1bn Lagos Lodge(pix) by higherpower(op): 2:34pm On Aug 14, 2017*. Modified: 2:52pm On Aug 14, 2017 |
This is one of the first independent protests against government policies in Akwa Ibom State. This young erudite lawyer and his group are simply asking the governor to use the proposed #9.1bn for Lagos governor's lodge to develop decaying education sector, cottage hospitals in the state. Imagine that Keebi State just commissioned a Rice mill worth #10bn that will employ 10,000 youths while Udom is going to build a lodge of almost the same amount in Lagos for Pride. I came in yesterday to join this protest and I believe this is the way to go instead of becoming a tool in the hands of politicians. The time has come for Nigerian youths to rise beyond rice, wrapper, #2000, #5000 etc. if Inibehe with all the intimation can, YES WE ALSO CAN!!!!
Am finding it unable to upload pictures. I don't know why
