Nigerian singer, Falz has hit back at Governor Nasir El-Rufai's son, Bashir El-Rufai and others who criticized him for undergoing a knee surgery in UK instead of Nigeria, IGBERETV reports.

Some supporters of the ruling All Progressives Congress including Bashir had accused Falz of hypocrisy for taking medical treatment abroad after he (Falz) criticized Nigerian leaders that did same.

Reacting to this, Falz said they are being audacious with stupidity, adding that they are so desperate for “ammunition” which is why they are latching on to his knee surgery gist.

Nigerian rapper, songwriter and activist, Folarin Falana better known as Falz has undergone knee surgery.

In a video posted on his Instagram page, the singer revealed that he sustained a knee injury last year while playing football and was advised to go for surgery.

Labour Minister Chris Ngige has said that his salary is N942,000 monthly after taxation, adding that he takes no allowance.

Ngige made this revelation when he spoke on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Tuesday night.

He said: “My salary is N942,000 a month, with my PA, gross total after taxation.”

When asked if he is calculating the figure with the allowances accrued to his office, he said: “Which allowances? My feeding, my transport, the salary of one PA, the salary of my gardener, my cook, they are all consolidated and after heavy taxation, they pay me N942,000.”
