My guy, you must learn to do without the POS operators. There are all crooks. The best way to go now is by transfer. Or use your card ri make your purchase. What most, people don't know is Bank staff are the ones that own most of the POS you see today. But for sure, nothing last forever.

In spite of the order given by CBN on POS charges, the Road Side POS Terminal operators still take 30% or more as charges for cash withdrawals.

The CBN should as a matter of urgency approach this matter sternly by making cash available at commercial banks and also asking the staff of these banks desist from owning POS terminals for cash-in, cash-out transactions.

The masses are being exploited by these POS operators who take advantage of the present cash crunch to inflict untold hardship on the common man.

With the implementation of the now infamous CBN cashless policy, many Nigerians are groaning under the negative effect of it due to the absence of raw cash to run their day to day businesses and the POS operators are not exempted.

For example in my area, no POS operator opens again, no cash to run the business, except those that run other businesses with their POS, now I wonder how POS businesses in other places in the country makes ends meet without using other businesses to support it.

As for governors calling bank managers, CBN mopped up over N2.1trillion naira from circulation and only released 500bn in new notes into circulation that is why even the old notes scarce. The CBN will not flood the banks with the new notes even though they have it. They will release it to them in a controlled manner. The politician will not be able to lay their hands on the new notes or old notes in the kind of volume that they want for election purposes. Na why dem dey run kiti kata upandan to court.

Fool, I have over 50k hanging in the name of transfer for purchase of petty items and was forced to pay twice either with another bank transfer or with new notes I bought for 1k for 10k notes.

And FYI, even when I get a reversal , the thieving banks never refund the cost incurred in using their useless app.

in Kaduna, people are even been arrested for not collecting old naira notes ds money...it's still heavily acceptable in Kaduna as I speak....
CBN has no choice than to extend the expiration date for old notes..
if you have old notes,keep it well, otherwise you will cry heavily to have even the old notes, remember it's weekend and deres no any new note available even at the bnk
