A 35-year-old rape suspect, Ahmadu Musa, on Monday confessed to the Niger State Child Rights Protection Agency how he sexually abused a 4 year-old girl in Minna. Mr. Musa, a resident of New Market, near Gwari Market, Chanchaga Local Government Area, admitted that he sexually abused the victim once, but could not recall the exact date and month.
“I saw her passing in front of my house, I called her to buy pure water for me, I then lured her and had sex with her. “The second time I called the girl to the uncompleted building and I was about removing my trouser to urinate before the act when I was caught,” he said.
Abdulmumini Aliyu, Chairman of Drugs and Crime is Haram (DC Haram), who apprehended the suspect, told the agency that Mr. Musa was an unrepentant criminal who had been convicted for various crimes in the past.
“Musa has been arrested on several occasions for various crimes. He has served several jail terms and each time he gets released he will commit another crime.
“Today, luck ran out on him when he pretended to send the victim to buy him pure water and then lured her to an uncompleted building to sexually abuse her again. “Thank God for a Good Samaritan, who noticed his strange behaviour and decided to follow him to the uncompleted building where he lured the victim and raised alarm before he was caught.
“The women around the area came to the victim’s rescue and beat the suspect mercilessly. “He would have been killed, but for the timely intervention of our men,’’ Mr. Aliyu said.
Meanwhile, Mairam Kolo, Director-General of the Child Rights Protection Agency, said that the suspect had been handed over to the police for further investigation. Mrs. Kolo, however, said that the agency would monitor the case to ensure justice for the victim. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the offence contravened Section 18, sub-section 2, of Niger State Child Rights Law that prescribes life sentence for convicts.

ChangeIsCostant: The General Overseer of OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere, over the weekend expressed joy, as over 200 repentant cultists, militants, and prostitutes who embraced Christ through the OPM empowerment and intervention programs received water baptism after undergoing baptismal classes.
Speaking to the press, shortly after the new converts fully complied with the biblical injunctions, the Apostle said, though the financial involvement in the up keep and maintenance of the newly converts are quite enormous, he can not in anyway compare the cost to the salvation of the lost souls to God in heaven.
This is what God is expecting from us, he emphasized.
how can you wash away the sins of these ones inside the pool? After the cleansing the water will forever remain contaminated no matter how they try to clean it. Take them to the sea, because the kind of sins they've committed should be kept there. Anyways, no one is sin free

DanXplore: Please, i could use some career advice from great nairalanders. Please tag monikers that you think would be of great help, as i am at a crucial point in my career.
I am a graduate of chemcal engineering but for 2years now, have not gotten any engineering related job. The only job i got was at KPMG (audit), which i resigned after 3 months due to some personal reasons. I am currently an Area Sales Rep with a poultry feed production company that pays 183k per month (net take home after tax and other necessary deductions), though i could use up to 20 to 25k to fuel my car monthly. Now, i just got a PTDF scholarship offer to study Advanced process integration and design in UK but not really sure if it is worth ditching my current job for it.
I am not very confident about securing a job once i finish msc because only a handful of opportunities come for chemical engineers. more also,UK rarely retains Nigerians.
Please what are your advices, especially from those who have done Msc in Uk.
I need your advices, i dont want to make a costly mistake.
I know it's a cooked story but I'm gonna show concern. Now, if you had saved from the 183k you've been receiving monthly you'd have gotten enough money to invest in business that would be fetching you money. By now you'd have gone abroad to study. I rest my case

I can remember that before the swearing in of PMB, before GEJ lost the election, Tompolo was running his mouth in the creek of the Niger Delta. He vowed to disturb and paralyse all activities in the Niger Delta. Some even went arguing here that Tompolo is so powerful and not like Asari Dokubo, that he does stand by his words.
How come he has disappeared since?

this man you better shut up, there's absolutely no difference between those in power and you. If you like say what you like, but our goal (youths) for 2019 is to never allow ourselves to fall as low as we did in 2015. You better hide yourself
Beress: I just heard it on NTA network news now that the weekly federal executive council meeting will not hold tomorrow.
The information which was made available by the Minister of Information, Alhaji Lai Mohammed states that the reason for this development is because of the the Sallah holidays which made them not to be prepared for the meeting.
I'm kind of disturbed with this development and I have some reservations.
What does it take for them to prepare for this meeting?
What the hell is Buhari still doing in Daura even after traveling two days before the public holidays announced?
Lalasticlala you may have an answer to these questions or better still, the following may want to help out
I blame those in the national assembly, if it were in a civilize country this man would have been impeached by now. The funny part is even those in the opposition in the house are not moving the motion for impeachment all they do is talk about resignation, useless people
