jimyjames: Brother there is no need to be naive about this. It is a game of chess not checkers bro. If you think for a second that Tinubu and Apc doesn't have youth among the Nigerian youths you are certainly mistaking. There are youths in Lagos who fervently support APC, Tinubu and the Lagos State Project as a whole, don't get it twisted that everyone follows Obi or LP. PDP too get youths and they are also Nigerian youths. Indigenous Lagosians or not politics has nothing to do with vote, if you like do, if you like don't it doesn't matter. Lagos State is not a child play for the keys to be handed over just anyhow, no matter how much noise you can make.. presidential election is done, sanwo Olu will be declared winner again and nothing can shake the table any longer. As for why you see Oluomo and Dem, it's just a normal sakamanje so there will be something to talk about. This is Nigeria don't get too carried away with the whole idea of youth this and youth that. It doesn't work, if voting matters my brother they wouldn't let you vote. 1 Like |

Asour: You are the only one am going to respond to as for the rest I don't have their time honestly because they still don't understand and never will. The main reason why Lagos was declared for Obi wasn't because of some stupid votes it's mainly to avoid a total anarchy which was looming and which would have nullified the whole election. Believe me, what exactly do you think would have happened if Tinubu had been declared as winning in Lagos, people were ready to fight and Tinubu knew, that's why the margin wasn't even large.. EndSars would have been a child play that's one, and secondly sacrificing Lagos for Tinubu allowed for so much smooth and easy operation in other locations across the whole country because while everyone is paying attention to Lagos he was racking up where they aren't looking. So sir, if you have a deep understanding of how politics works you will be able to see it clearly. Lagos was given. It wasn't won for Jack shit.. |

For most of you political illeterate clamouring PVC up and down. You still haven't learn anything yet. Lagos is the 4th largest economy in Africa even Dangote will rig the damn election in favour of Lagos State current government and maintaining the current working condition under sanwo Olu. That's first. And if you think Tinubu loosing Lagos during this last election wasn't strategic you don't have an idea of what politics really is. Its a gift to your so called Messiah so he can have something to chew on. CHANNELStv2020: First I will like to console you as brother and also as a fellow Nigerian. Elections in or on any level can be a messy thing and the result can be depressing if it doesn't go towards a desired outcome. Nevertheless, this is Nigeria, a country blessed domestically and extensively beyond it's own shore and further more beyond the shores of our continent. A country you are blessed to be a part of is growth, development, well being and benefits it has to offer. Presidents like Elections come and go moreover Nigeria will still remain. I do solemly urge you as one Nigerian to another to seek and watch out for the benefit of a citizen this our new government has to offer instead of killing your zeal and later blaming Nigeria government while you may have been the one that has already close your eyes to the blessings that every government brings. I am a solid Nigerian, politics nor elections will not deter me from being sensible to your thoughts. As bad as they may have made the outgoing president tenure sound or seem believe me millions and I mean millions of Nigerians benefited from his tenure, the ones who didn't are the who have already closed their mind and eyes to the good things he has been doing, the same is starting with this new government. Break that chain, you are a Nigerian, you should and can be also be a beneficial of your own mother land abundance wealth. People sell ordinary sand in this country and they are well to do. Know yourself, know your country and know where it's path is heading to. I wish you well, don't get depressed or try to further depress more people. You are a Nigerian..you are a giant No more negative energy |

Fut9ure: Go on about your business brother. A lot people lack the understanding and have no idea what handling a country's responsibility is on the international stage and having the back bone politically to command mandate that will benefit and help improve a country, this is one thing obi lacked woefully and which made people lost confidence in him. On your saying that if you can't give your daughter out and so fort we are not talking about marriage ceremony here. This is governance not social media popularity contest. Majority of what peopl see and hear is based on their fickle minded reports from emotionally unbalanced self proclaimed journalist and influencers who know nothing about governance in every regards and not from pure and logical analysis The people that voted for Tinubu, voted him because of his progressive nature and the ones who voted the party is a testament of his solid backing in the country and in the political space of Nigeria. Many people do not clearly do not understand why he won, those who do knows why he did. Just support the man and make the best you can from his administration. Peace onto you brother. 1 Like |

Johnthum: On the contrary, it's always been the Igbos that takes everyone else as an enemy. You are lying to yourself if you think an Hausa man will ever trust an Igbo man, it's not like some of you are guys aren't good people but the reality is just that it is 2 out of 5 when compared to other ethnic groups in this country and that's a fact. How can everyone else have the same feelings towards your identity if that's not what you project out as your norms. I have never wish any Igbo be it man or woman bad in my life but I do know of few occurrences where I cant say the same for an Igbo man while within his own people .. So see no one hates Igbo my good sir, on the hand it is majority of Igbos that seems to hate everyone else. Good or bad always revolve around. You can not have bad intentions towards someone and expect good will to manifest in your society, livelyhood or way existence. To me while Igbos are one of the most industrous ethinic group, it is worth saying Igbos are not the most generous in this country, there goodness doesn't extend beyond themselves or line of sight... It is worth saying also that they one of the less accommodating region in the country. Honesty and truthfulness is a major ordeal. who are the most desperate for I'll wealth from time memorial, less morals and lack of good judgement without any sentimental value. Your industrous attitude is worth mentioning your coming together is another but that is when you have a common enemy within yourself you fear your own wickedness towards each other more than Armageddon and rapture combined. That said you are actually not the most industrous group in the country if we are to fully analyse the whole thing. Your collective ego has always ask for checks it can cash. Take that. The boasting methodology is out of the window. All Nigerians collectively keep cheering you guys to be inclusive positively and join the progressive train yet it keep seeming the more it's talked about, the more blind eyes you guys are turning to it. If it is selfishness or I too know that's yours to resolve. And if the spirit of fight fight and unnecessary agressiveness is still inside you guys Cameroon is there feel free to enter. Nigeria has neve been your problem on the other hand most of your agendas have always been a problem for Nigeria. I don't mind if you think am being harsh but that's just the reality from the other side. The truth can be bitter sometimes |

Pdp members are still a bit sane but the other ones it will do them good excusing the rest of us and move to Cameroon or Togo for the time being. There Oga kukuma don start the Exodus, the has traveled today. Ateast the rest of us will all have one thing in common and operate from a common point of view. You guys can now come back later, we will be fixing the country gradually as we have been doing. No one needs killing. Blood is a big expense, it's only cowards and unwise brains that clamour for it unnecessarily. A humble opinion. AbujaCitiBlog: You are the one cursed with foolishness and stupidity for your lack of understanding of public affairs and governance. So because you see a document, you automatically belief and assume it is true without at least trying to access the validity of it or the intention behind it.. He is the country is you who wants his favours, you will be honored to get the president instructions alone because you know the benefits of it, contracts and opportunities that comes with your loyalty is what they recognize and operate on. I will repeat he only give out instructions. Now as for your poverty monkey mentality and self assessment, I won't help you add to it because if I do things will only get worse for you. This just seem like a pure deliberately demonstration of ignoring the rest of the candidates or having anything to do with them at all on any personal or political level. A typical Yoruba man will understand the idiom of this act of his. Him showing up and sleeping is him mocking them as that is a way better thing to do than listen or dialogue with anyone from that meeting.. Even Sowore said, his rep spoke for him.. my brother's what does that tell us. Jagaban na Jagaban. Have your yeye meeting, I am still winning this damn election because I have done my work, rigorously at that, you are just catching up and I should be entertaining your presence? Romance / Re: Having A Nigerian Wife And Kids In The UK Is Worse Than Slavery by HighTableVoice: 7:59am On Jan 04, 2023 |
First, I will honestly like to say your assessment is not totally correct as there are a lot of women who still belief in the marriage project as a good objective. But in agreeing with you, marriage is becoming a thing of the past as it is getting glaring to men society that it benefits the woman and children more than the man. A child will grow up to be what he or she wishes like and choose a path, as a parent you partly influence but eventually you will not decide for that "SOUL". Same as with mothers. When a woman becomes a mother, she doesn't really see or will not see the man as a priority anymore compared to her child or children. It is only natural. Women paternal interests are way over the roof than most men. As for the system in the UK and how some people are saying the system is fairness and not like Nigerian system, the reality is that's not the case as the UK itself is one of countries in the world with the highest divorcee and widows in the world and giving how small their population is. We adjust with each other but not necessarily we must topple each other's life at the expense of an idea. Personally, I do like having a relationship with a woman, but beyond that I have gotten skeptical and i am speaking from experience. My honest opinion will be advising a good courtship first, know your self well before engaging in marriage because you will never truly know how fickle your partner can or will be as you progress. Your strength is hers but hers isn't yours, and lastly marriage project is becoming stale, old news and mainly women fantasy. Nevertheless, if you do meet or your with a partner you both understand each other, protect it with everything fibre of your concentration and will. Terimakasih 3 Likes |

festacman: With respect to the fact that you have an opinion which is logical and cognitive, I am choosing to respond to your comment @festacman as I find it really interesting. Relationship like life itself is not properly understood with both male and female guilty of it. The reality here is emotion which men in their own terms refer to as ego. When emotion is bruised, it always find ways to replenish, when ego is boost it always finds ways to increase, nevertheless on this narrative it's not about ego but mainly about shaping society Norms. Mind you ego and emotion are of the same coin just different sides. The major question is Should we as Africans still accept polygamy or deny is the main narrative here. If we go with the man, then we are invariably saying he can do what pleases him as he is the head of his family and the woman should accept his decision in a religious manner. If on the otherhand, the accepted ideology is of the woman, then we are saying a man alone doesn't have the say so as to how or where he may wishes to lead govern his life, family and existence as he sees fit, and which by the way the woman also has the same privilege giving the societal rules we humans live in presently. Where the atom of the issue lies is whose decision is it that gains more stands in a marriage affairs. The wife chose love, the husband chose duty which means you having a child for me doesn't necessarily mean you can dictate how I wish or want to express myself and life as a whole. In my humble opinion this a debate that won't get resolved easily and more than all a way to push a new agenda towards the African idea of marriage and more so in this case the Nigerian interpretation of the extent to which a man and a woman have says in the most intimate part of their life. Choice is always the hard dilemma, it's either yours to bite or shun it. Teri Makaseh |
