ogatboy: Excuse me, not comparing Tinubu to any other but using him as a reference point for prosperity and deligency. Dangote is in commerce, Tinubu is in governance, when it is a crime to prosper for what you dedicate your life to, you should also let me know. A whole lot of people have been in his position and haven't been able to seize the opportunities that comes with that post, to increase, sustain and secure proper order in all forms. Government money you say, No! Money I will rather say and people have the right to use their positions in life into leveraging the betterment of their sole self and their state if and when possible or able and Tinubu has done both. Hypocritical sentiments and trying to be pios is out of the question. Nigeria is poor, a failed state, so far and so forth, but it has never denied any of its citizens benefiting from its economy. You can only say you do not know how. I do not understand why learned Nigerians are not taking everything into account and still butressing the politics, mind sets and narrative of by gone days. And as for you reffering to my comment as being nonsense, that is just plainly rude and uncivilized |

ogatboy: Prosperity with Government money? No. Prosperity with Opportunity I will call it. Tinubu saw the potentials within the Nigeria system, he made prospects and he's prospering from it, that is not a crime. Dangote did, Otedola also, The Adelekes, Innoson, Igbenidion and even Peter Obi and Atiku, the other presidential candidates themselves in their own ways. How is that a wrong thing to do To give a recent example, the whole Agbado issue some people keeps clamouring about, what is wrong with it, since when is Grains as a commodity not an opportunity. In my opinion it is a very good business innovation that a lot of people can benefit from. When a King says he wants to build to a bridge, uninformed people question why, informed people question what they can supply. Take the idea of millions of Nigerians employed directly or indirectly in the Nigerian security system, besides the most obvious which is security, but issue of feeding them with Agbado also come to mind, take into account that food needs lands, lands needs seeds, seeds needs fertilizers, fertility needs care, produce needs transportation, transportation needs means, maintenance, human resources, and lots, and this is just one, and you as a Nigerian can be of service and benefit from this in any aspects or even more. And very true on your point that a good leader doesnt insist on leading without a strong trusted followership, this if in Tinubu's case you can very much read between the lines. He has a very strong followership and supporters. The most attacked Presidential Candidate, Party and VP nominee, yet he is still standing strong *** leading |

Qtrpst4: I do not intend to say this but this is a very naive conclusion. How do you expect a man to run for Governonship post without having a car,a house or even minimum monetary balance. Since the start of Democracy in 1999, even to run for local government counsellor in our country requires a considerable amount of capital. |

Freebills12: My brother I still insist you do not know. Sokoto wasn't abhored by Shettima. If you had said he was hiding in Borno State it will make for more explanable arguments. Loss of life through terror will always be a tragedic and inhumane experience for both victims and society at large, but it is unwise to pin to an individual. |
Politics / Re: Kashim Shettima's Emergence, Performance At NBA AGM Ruffles Feathers by HighTableVoice: 10:52am On Aug 24, 2022 |
ogatboy: Leadership is leadership my brother, the context you may percieve differently, nevertheless that it is what it is. Leadership, order, economic growth, individual growth & wellbeing, inclusiveness, wealth creation and its security, philanthropy etc, without the right figure head people can't benefit or even attain this in a state, country, family or business. It is unagreeable to assume or even assert that Tinubu's leadership of Lagos has been all for naught in all aspects of speaking. As for NURTW, majority are not Agberos in a manner of speaking in my own opinion, I know family men who cater for their family with the industry. |

Tonero5200: You will need a long Cable, meaning a high rated recommendation. If you can target 5 companies you are looking to work for, do your leg work and get in touch with at least 2 senior officials from such companies, sell yourself, your character, enthusiasm, loyalty spirit and humbleness and maybe out of 5, one or two may take a liking to you as an individual and offer you the opportunity. Meritocracy is for high education with solid background, with low education you need a lot of ground work. Wish you best |
Business / Re: Are Nigerian Banks Protecting Scammers? by HighTableVoice: 2:23pm On Aug 23, 2022 |
mcdokwe: They are protecting their business against litigation. They hand over their customer contact to you, then they have set a precedence. Banks and corporation have enemies too, they won't risk that for your claim as the moment they do, any bonified attorney will break them, to them that's a huge loss and risk they will never take. Report to your local law enforcement, helps if you have valuable information that will help also assist them. It is only the Federal government or the banks governing body in this case CBN that can request such details. Sorry for your loss, pls be wary of your dealings next time. 1 Like |

montanaguy: Off the Top of my head, it seems you want a passive income you want to be involved in as well but not labour intensive as the job you plan to quit. In my experience set up the business first before quiting you present job, even advisable to stay up to a year before finally moving to your own Ventures. 3 ideas comes to mind, electronic repair shop like laptop, phones or gadget, the other A washing Bay( car wash ) a very lucrative passive business people mostly sleep on, it is easy to manage, you don't even half to break your back for it in terms of cost, and employees are easy to secure, another is money lending to beef vendors, it is tough, but very lucrative as they are mostly trustworthy people, and always looking to expand their business ..now 5k daily maybe not everyday but surely close enough in my experiences with this ventures. Hope it helps 2 Likes |

Eminence125: I do hope your suspecions are wrong. Suspecions alone is not enough to speak, what if you are mistaken, then you dishonor yourself N your marriage. facts are necessary, without facts you must remain silent Now as a means of getting your fact, invite the guy out with a couple of friends, after being in a very relaxed state of mind, narrate how a man you know or if heard of agressively killed someone dishonoring the sanctity of his marriage and got away with it, observe his body language, his conscience will speak to him in reactions, whether consciously or subconsciously, just make sure you disagree with the very notion itself, few days later plan a trip and hang around, if anything you will know. Humans are not instinctive beings, but they are very responsive especially when being threatened directly or indirectly 2 Likes |
Politics / Re: How Igbos Stoned Awolowo In Aba — Adebanjo by HighTableVoice: 11:28am On Aug 12, 2022 |
Igbojew: You are wrong on that. Igbos feeling betrayed was a result of the outcome of the war which General Ojukwu lost. And mind you, it was General Ojukwu's actions that made Awo turned against him. He wanted more, his plan was to take Ibo out of Nigeria, a plan he successfully executed with the help me of Awo, when he started getting greedy and marching down south with his troops, he left Awo no choice, Ojukwu betrayed Awo the moment he started making plans to annex Ikenne, Awolowo's very home town, and wishing to take Lagos, which would have been taking the whole of Nigeria. His greed and poor judgement cost him the movement, a legend in is right nonetheless, but he lost the war fair and square.. Warfare is Just what it is, Warfare 2 Likes |

trutharena: Besides Nigeria being a country, it is virtually impossible for anything to happen to Tinubu going to the Eastern Part of Nigeria. A common misconception that most people have is thinking the land they occupy isn't a Nigeria land. As a Nigerian you have every Right to be anywhere in your country, Eastern part of Nigeria doesnt belong to any ethnic group, you just happen to be where you are geographically. Nigeria is Nigeria and if the general agenda some people keep pushing is Biafra and Secession, they should also accept that Nigeria as a country has the right to rid them off his land. You are allowed to leave peacefully, you can not stay and enjoy the comfortability of a nation and still be its enemy. If and possible Tinubu campaigns in his country, and you choose to attack him, he is also Liable to attack you back in any way or form he may choose. Stop dividing Nigeria 1 Like |

mycar: That may be true, but reality is reality and not hypothetical. Lagos is Lagos and Tinubu is Tinubu. Igboho's struggle is deep rooted in the unification of Yoruba as a tribe and not with the main purpose of breaking a country out of Nigeria. That is the difference. A country within a country. In all honesty the general idea of secession is an absolute contradictory notion to the country's wellbeing, it's development, and even much so to the first sentence of the Nigeria constitution. |

Viscuz: Your statement my brother is only butressing the post. Nigeria's problem is not on political thugry or on basis of religion nor tribe, its about who can get the job done. If Obi wants to proof himself, let him lead and lift Anambra out of the state it is at the moment with his brilliance, is it necessary he has to be the GCFR to proof his point. mycar: Igbo wanting to contribute to the development of Nigeria and Nigerians as a whole is a welcoming idea, but it is also hard to argue that the Igbos haven't necessarily retract themselves as an inclusive part of Nigeria's and Nigerians development. The never ending idealism of secession is a starting point, how do you contribute to a country you claim you don't belong to? 3 Likes 1 Share |
