Hisxellency:To me really, he seems a disobedient son that doesn't want to support in building his father's legacy and opting to do things of his own Modify Quote taken back. He is a proud hardworking Nigerian making us proud in Hollywood Politics or not |

The reality truly is that Obi wanted a space where he can steadily pursue his own political career furthermore after his PDP departure. But he was approached. What he didn't count on was the extent to which he engage with some Igbo elders will be. Many powerful and Rich Igbo brotherhoods alone are a major and silent contributor to this program of his without knwoing the true purpose but as a means. A lot and I mean a lot of many Igbo women, some holding offices, influences and some with financial support are all in on the program. Igbo's value women and they honour title that was why they chose to loud the idea so much and he seems as a good opportunity to push Igbos agitations, complaints and national awareness. And as a titled man his choices are limited. That was why the whole obidient movement started He was aware his party can't win a presidential election against the two ruling party all he can do is going with the flow. His speeches doesn't represent IPOB agendas but the powers that be sees and knows whats he represents. Obi works for APC belief it or not, Oshiomole was part of the people that founded labour party. He and Jagaban share a mutual regard for each other. The purpose of Obi ambition and money bag as it seems is two.. One, PDP doesn't come back into power, 2 bring about those who are still supporting secession.. He is a business man, Nigeria is a business get that into your mind. Matter of fact, they are all business men. What they tell you doesn't matter whatsoever this is why APC doesn't care about interviews or whatsoever. The real votes comes from those who will do anything to vote on that day. Farmers, market women, civil servants, and most of all vote sellers, Obi has crowds but sadly not votes. Ipobs are identified now backers and financiers and PDP chance is getting thinner daily.. This is the pact between the Tinubu camp and the north, afterwards APC becomes a nothern party just as PDP is now. Development will still come but at a slow pace, after the election Obi will travel for rest, that is what he will call it but in reality that's just him cashing out. |
Please stop underestimating Eko |
CheapHomes1:Firstly, you do not grow through reduction but by accumulation. Which is why the govt also wants to impose tax on them to reduce their dependency on Nigeria's resources and citizens. There are over 50 companies in Nigeria that makes over a billion every fiscal year. Let alone their high net worth execs who pay less than 20% of their earning. In the US its 40%. UK even worse and theirs property tax that not even most people give a damn about. Some private universities in nigeria tuition fee is more than some institutions in Czech Republic and even some Asian countries. This institutions some are owned by religious leaders, and do not pay enough taxes even on the property itself and have over 1000 graduates every year. We need more revenue and a lot of people are not paying their fair share to the economy. |
jaxxy:Be constructive with your statements that's first thing I will address. You have no idea who I am so there's no reason getting too personal and abusive. I love my country and want the best for it. Nigeria as it stands today beats most African Nations arms down. If you can name me 10 African countries out of the 56 that its doing better than Nigeria in terms of GDP and economic development I will rest my case. Now as a Nigerian to another Nigerian, I already stated understanding how governance works will make you see it more clearly and the fault lines that is making the progress slow. You talk about oil prices like its regulated in Nigeria and not even addressing subsidy. Do you think administration after administration striving to deal with subsidy is a joke? We have lobbied, improve policies, made deals to make oil revenues more usable to the Nigerian government and yet we still face the same old blocks. Barrels or guns, that's the term if you do not know. Oil theft is a only child's play, only a minimum portion of the whole operations. I will repeat, more taxes on this big corps means more revenue and helpful to the nation. Corruption you may think is the problem of Nigeria but that is not true, it is the imperial gun of the old world that's slowing down the program. Unless Nigeria or even Africa as a whole develops a well sounded defence system against the theft in our lands, the experiences will still be on going and only moving bit by bit. You speak of accountability, Nigeria is well accounted for, as a matter of fact very very much accounted for not a single penny comes in or goes out with CBN knowledge, if you had said leniency I would have understand which again points back to my earlier statement on understanding how governance works. |
jaxxy:Correction. Nigeria is not a failed state and most definitely not the only nation that borrows, as a matter of fact all mighty US check them out. Part of Nigeria not profiting a lot is a result of low taxations. Oil prices maybe up but so is subsidy charges. It took more than a double decade for Dangote's refinery to even come into place. Why do you think so?. In actual reality, the average working Nigeria earns at least 400k per annum, which in approximation is 36k a month and it keeps rising. Unless people below the average minimum wage and allowances. The Nigerian power system runs at a high code just as Indian does. The only reason why you will keep complaining is your adept entitled reason for having to do less work for big money. It doesnt work that way. Nigeria hasnt attained the level of a developed state, its still a developing country. I will urge you to see how other African countries are doing before judging your own so hashly. Big corps needs to pay more tax. Guiness execs alone makes closes to a billion dollar every year and they don't pay much tax, high net worth individuals, its more reason some see need to hide thier wealth oversee, why because of the imperialist bodies backing them and with guns to our head in the name of loans. Understand how governance works, everything is not just as simple and easy as you think it is. If it were to be, all nation of this world will be living in a Utopia state. |
DrPurple:Cutting cost of government is not much a brilliant idea. We haven't even started with defence budget yet in this country. You accumulate wealth by generating new ways and avenue. Reduction only put you 2 steps backwards and for the most part a temporal solution and not a permanent one. |

Racoon:Stop jumping into conclusions. The tax idea is for big corporations operating in the country. Imagine if MTN alone is paying a very valuable tax, Dangote group, the Chinese companies, Julius Berger, Brewery, Unilever, even import tax and the rest of the billion dollar corps in the country. It generates more wealth for the nation. For me, I do support it. SMEs may have to pay more on interest rate but it also means more loans will be granted which will facilitate more circular jobs and incomes for an average Nigerian. Your normal VAT is only 6% while corporations have to pay double digit figures. This is not that much of a bad idea in my opinion. Most advanced countries generate a lot from tax policies. |
SouthSouth1914:Brother man, Tinubu's achieved. Simple as that. Unless you want to ignore the truth and to justify what is unjustifiable. You all hate the man and yet pray for a legacy like his. Hypocrite As for your point on issues of port, is it Tinubu's fault.. if you get more than 40bn every month and can't run a successful state, attract investors, investments regardless of port or no port it won't matter even if you 10x of that. Being land locked is a not a disadvantage, there are other ways a state improves and make use of its land mass. Abeg I get more important things to do as am just really tired of this whole Obi supporters and their cry cry matter. |

SIRTee15:Debt and military might is one thing. You can't really threaten China like you can threaten most African countries. Besides south Africa a den of thieves and crime in its true definition, there's less an African leader can really do in terms of security. No African country produces arms you know? Security is a major a threat to Africa's survival. Unless we can truly defend ourselves first against the almighty imperialism power, we will remain a jungle. Second is the psychology of what we are and how we see ourselves, this won't change unless we rid them off our lands. Africa has great minds and hard working class of peoples but they are under immense pressure from this so called people, they should leave our lands and resources. Enough should be enough by now. |

Besides, the most obvious which people often think is Plus, in reality its really about Grace. Most of those guys smoke and consume a lot of a mental enhanced substances, music's is even on another level. The money they spend, most make it on other peoples head, they run with least experience guys money they know that can't even touch them because of the squad they service. And they get more and more because of the brovado they display. Their WhatsApp, Instagram and social media is to display wealth so they can attract money. Simply put, laws of attraction. The Hushpuppi Qatari Job from that YouTube documentary is a good example. Made over 300k from that deal and not a cent to the Kenya guy that actually introduce him to the deal. That is a classic example how some really do. Another aspect is actually does help to have environment to make your moves. I have had many experiences with them and when you do actually sit with them on a much more normal and personal level they express how much more stresses they facing, the debts they are in just to potray that lifestyle and what they have to do make up for that. If you are able to earn at least 1000-2000 USD in a month or 2. You are part of this richest people in the country and just know how to manage that so you can invest in other business ideas like passive incomes which will be helping you in building a wealth. Making money is not the same as building wealth, let alone a fortune. Stay safe, stay blessed and meet guys like you that you can both share intelligent ideas and means of working on those ideas. Hope it helps |
IamNat:The main issue is always about timing as most prominent members of the party also have interests, requests and more so issues of slots and accreditations. All this are in place, the only other thing according to the reports from that meeting is His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari has a key role to play in Flagging off the campaign and show loyalist and Nigerians he stands with his political party and urges them to do the same but with his tight schedule he can only do that when the time permits and as well to not engage in a conflict of interest war as a seating president supporting one candidate. All is well within the APC party and The PCC, 5 other strong opposition party Governors are on the fence and Willing to accept and attend meetings with APC reps. With 22 state Governors on board, local governments and wards all over, APC has a party will retain the power. Only political novices will assume it's about individuals now at this point as we are getting closer day by day. |

RepoMan007:Hmmmm... Point! Throwing the question out is trying to understand the perceptions and circumstances in building wealth. I read a post here where the OP shared his experience with a dollar millionaire. According to him or her in that post, he buttress that most millionaires does not necessarily gear towards earning wages as a means of accumulating wealth but are mostly about deals and contracts ideas.. The OP went further to share the person in question made it clearly understandable that there are so many deals that gets closed everyday and its just really getting the right information. Money as the root of all evils, I feel its a subject matter that doesn't really get talked about or discussed Thank you for your thoughts. In many ways, we all need this forward thinking to move, and most importantly impact. God bless your knowledge bros |
Since time memorial people have been insinuating on the subject of hard earned money. Truly is all money hard earned, or just circumstances surrounding the way money is made. Welcoming ideas and experiences, let's learn from each other |

BluntCrazeMan:5 locations to get their crowds. 1 location to just mingle. Imagine if MC had extended it to 5 different locations, how much more crowd do you think will be involved |
AdamuKD:Generosity is not a crime. A point that you seem to misunderstood. It is only those who sees it as such that thinks otherwise. In general terms most of us supporting Asiwaju and APC aren't even really interested in the whole rally idea. Election is what we are waiting for. The rallies are just to demonstrate and mingle. Its not march madness. And to speak freely, never in the coming decade will labour party win a presidential seat in this country. If them like make den go hire Obama as them chair, shishi as per their mantra den no go see |

That man is definitely Peter Obi |
olatuns2017:I think its high time people should start paying attention to some other political areas than being engaged in and with a candidate running a presidential campaign like a secondary school prefect competition. If you do support APC as a party or Tinubu as a person, PDP and NNPP are the real threats |
