mariahAngel:Bro, when it comes to community development, cash inflow and outflow is what makes the economic situation of a community, for instance, traders in the community travel to onitsha to buy goods, that’s cash outflow, teachers receive salary, that’s cash inflow, but what is the population of teachers compared to traders who travel every week to buy goods? This is why schools or markets are built as a means to bring development to a community because new persons will visit and bring revenue to the community. The villages in ebonyi is devoid of such cash inflow, things are difficult, the communities are dwindling in terms of economic development, structural development is on the rise but of what use is it when the people can’t eat good meal three times a day? I don’t want to go the way of education, how do you tell someone to go to school when he hasn’t eaten? There are still mud thatch houses in most local communities as at 2021. I guess you know what I’m Hinting on right now? Every decade produces different grades of illiterate youths who become touts due to ignorance and lack of advanced education. |

Greetings all, I feel it’s pertinent to address this issue, the travel section of nairaland is always busy with travel topics or questions about people who wish to migrate, I made a post last time about wanting to travel to Dubai and most people asked me to debunk the idea that Dubai is a difficult place to survive cause there are no jobs there. A certain NLnder who landed in Dubai also has confessed that the only available jobs are factory jobs, car wash jobs etc. this is to say that he actually settled for one of such. Truth is, you raised about 1.5m naira in Nigeria only to travel to Dubai for menial jobs and he also stated that the high paying jobs are reserved for Indians and Americans. My question is, if the high paying jobs were not reserved for Indians and Americans, what skill do you actually have to gain such jobs? Imagine how much hours and how long you would have to work doing menial jobs in Dubai before you can recover the over 1million spent in traveling. Even while in Nigeria, most people with skill are still earning and living well and maybe planning to japa too. This post is for whom it may concern, stop traveling without a skill, if you cannot do a car wash job here in Nigeria and you can not also do a factory job here, why go over there to do it and how many years do you think you can do it to raise something tangible? Well, I am a product designer (ui/ux) also learning flutter development, as I’m typing this post, my phone battery is low, network is slow, generator noise from the neighbors is very disturbing, this and more are the reasons I have decided to travel to Dubai, stay indoors and do my freelance jobs if I don’t see any company to employ me in this tech field and maybe when I raise money from there, I can then migrate to a country with stable economy. Hi all, please I intend to expand my soft skill from ui/ux design to programming, saw an advert about decagon student loan six months program, at first, I didn’t know how much it cost and when I was feeling the form I chose self sponsorship. Well, I can only blame myself a little cause I thought it would be about 200k until I made a little research online and saw that the program costs about 3million and you would be employed after the six months and you work until the 3m is recovered. I have been invited for an in person assessment, even though it’s uncertain I would make it to the final stage but I’m already developing cold feet. How much salary can they possibly pay that would enable me work for them to recover their 3m and how long? Please any one that has info about them should share with me. The 3m is for the training, accommodation, WiFi, laptop, feeding and tips for 6months. It’s a very wonderful program but I think I’m fantasizing on the juicy part of it, I need to know the cons too. |

nzeobi:He said he would get me an admission letter and I pay 100k after that he will get me visa and I pay 100k too, the 100k is his commission cause I would still pay for my visa processing fees and school application fees separately. He said I wouldn’t even need to appear for any embassy visa interview. Why should I forget about Dubai? |

Hello guys, be like this country no work for me again, I’m getting old like this, have decided to sell out some of my house properties to add to the cash at hand which would amount to 2m. I have learnt ui/ux design, currently learning flutter for mobile app development all by myself. I wish to travel to Canada but I don’t think the money is enough so I’m considering Dubai as that’s the only country I believe the money can get, but I’m open to suggestions please, anyone sure any other country I can try out with 2m. However, I met one agent online who said he could help me secure admission into a Canadian university and I won’t pay school fees until I land there, I don’t know how possible it is and I can work before the start of the session and can even raise some money to add pay for school fees from working. I have had to calculate everything by myself, flight is about 500k, talk of visa and processing fees, can one even get a job without permit cause I learnt you can’t apply for permit without a school fees payment, ah, I don’t tire for this life. |

Hullabaloon:Sorry for late reply, every tutorial was from youtube, even though it’s not arranged, let me give you a clue; What is UI/ ux Difference between UI and UX What is wireframe What is mock-up What is prototype Getting used to colours Softwares used in UI/ UX design, master at least two, figma and Adobe xd Getting started with design Mobile and web designs difference Widths and lengths What is responsiveness How to master the pen tool Components, groups and frames How to gain ideas on different design processes Websites for ui/ux design, example, icons and objects needed for design, icons8.com etc There is more, just follow these few key points to get started You will later get to photoshop to lay out designs on a 3ds Illustrator for 2 and 3D designs for websites etc 3 Likes |

Junnior:Depends on how consistent you are with learning. But on the average, 3 months is the highest cause ui/ux also has graphics in it which includes illustrator, photoshop and sometimes Indesign . |

Hello guys, there has been a lot of fuss about freelance work, I finally learnt ui/ux after a long period of reluctance. I have good laptop, good phone et al but the zeal hasn’t been that strong, I am augmenting the ux with graphics design so I can perfect it. Each time I visit upwork as a freelancer, tones of jobs keep popping up on the graphics and ui/ux design section, haven’t even visited fiverr sef, so I want to know how viable it is getting jobs there, as a Nigerian, as a black, just want to know the hurdles you all working there face cause I am not learning this to work for Nigerians as the pay is very bad. flywheelz:Your designs are nice, I’m learning ui/ux design and your current disposition is discouraging, have you tried up work specifically, a lot of UI design jobs there, that’s what motivated me to start the learning, also, why not get to the programming section of NL and connect with programmers that design mobile app so that you can work as a ui designer with them when they get contract to build an app. If you have done all this and it’s not working please reply so I can discontinue with the learning and use my life for something else. |

Oralissue:Buy a pack of white vitamin c, don’t chew it, just put lik 3 or 4 pieces each time in your mouth and lick it like sweet, I mean lick it from morning till night and even leave some in your mouth while you sleep, ensure the vitamin when it melts gets to the parts of the mouth that’s mostly concerned, eat healthy food too, try this for 4 days consistently you would see the magic. You can also add salt solution, boil water like you want to drink tea, add enough salt to the water, enough I said, like plenty of salt, pour into your mouth, but don’t swallow it, just carry the salt solution for a while and pour it always, try this say morning and night alongside the white vitamin, this is how I cured a similar infection . 1 Like |
