To all who are confused and even insulting, its okay. But let me ask you.
1. On what ground did Goodluck redepoly Aandooka and couldnt redeploy other mnisters who he knows wont be loyal to him.
2. he has not uttered anything concerning the troops that were deployed to the airport for yaradua without his knowledge yet he is acclaimed to be commander in chief ( i wonder of what?)
3. he has every right to demand to see his boss and not being tossed about by the likes of turai.
4. he needs to immediately dissolve the cabinet, retire all the service chiefs to move this country forward.
Jonathan needs to take a bold stand on what is happening.
Should i continue?

Mr Acting President sir,
God just gave you a rare opportunity to print your name positively on the sand of time but i can see that you are only concerned about the name more than the task.
You cannot please everyone and the steps you have taken so far is a great disappointment to nigerians. You have to be your own man. You are yet to proove your self a leader. You did not become acting president by mistake, God took you there for a reason; to cause a paradigm shift in the affairs of nigeria but sir, you are towing the path of failures. What exactly is the problem sir? You are a graduate with a Phd, with your educational upbringing and experience in the four walls of a university you cannot afford to allow some near illiterates dictate your direction and pace. Mr acting president sir, you still have some time to redeem yourself and do the right thing. Believe it or not, the name YARADUA has already been soiled, yours may tow thesame line. When the chips are down, and very soon they'll be i hope it wont be too late then. PLEASE MR ACTING PRESIDENT, DO WHAT IS RIGHT AND NOT WHAT IS RITE.
WAKE UP . . . . SMELL THE COFFEE . , .

Dear Nigerians,
It saddens my heart, and makes a complete nonsense of my sense of patrotism that a handful of humans have called and are calling nigerians fools to their faces. How then can you explain all that has surrounded the presidency over the past 93 days?
Dear Nigerians, something drastic is going to happen in the presidency on a morning over the next seven days. It will be very drastic. Everyone that has contributed to making a public show of nigerians will find their rightful place. I rest my case. Nature will always seek equilibrium!

Fellow Nigerians, its just one day and all these brouhaha will be in the open. There is a power called POSTERITY, it will hold everyone that contributed to making nigeria a laughing stock accountable for their actions. The time is FAST APPROACHING . . .

PoliticsMinisters Can't See Yaradua …would Need Clearance From Saudi King Abdullah by hillsate(op): 9:10pm On Feb 19, 2010
The six Ministers nominated to visit sickly president Umaru Musa Yar’Adua in Saudi Arabia would need clearance from King Abdullah, the King of Saudi Arabia to do so or forget the trip to the kingdom, a Saudi Source told pointblanknews.com.

The Federal Executive Council, FEC, had nominated six Ministers to travel to Saudi Arabia and visit President Yar’Adua as part of efforts aimed at determining his true state of health.

Members of the committee include Minister of Health Prof. Babatunde Osotimehin, Minister of Agriculture Dr Abba Sayyad Ruma, Minister of Foreign Affairs Chief Ojo Maduekwe, Minister of Petroleum Dr Rilwanu Lukman, Attorney General and Minister of Justice Prince Adetokunbo Kayode (SAN), as well as Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Alhaji Mahmud Yayale Ahmed.

This is even as the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, National Chairman, Prince Vincent Ogbulafor, along with his deputy Dr Bello Haliru Mohammed and PDP National Secretary Abubakar Kawu Baraje and delegates from the House of Representatives were refused access to Yar'adua, who has been there for more than 80 days

According to a source who would not want to be named, hospital officials would not violate an order from King Abdullah and a pact entered between the hospital and the Yar’Adua family to keep out any visitor from Nigeria or elsewhere to the Nigerian President no matter how highly placed.

“They are free to come to Saudi Arabia but we cannot guarantee that they would see the President of Nigeria because that would be breaking an order and an agreement we have all signed and promised to keep.”

The source added “if King Abdullah says we should allow any visitor we would do so, we cannot break the order now.”

As earlier reported, the Saudi royal family and the Yar’Adua family had entered into a pact to keep information about the Nigeria President secret and access to him limited to only his wife, Turai Yar’Adua. The Saudi media have also been banned from reporting anything concerning the health of President Yar’Adua while hospital workers have been made to swear an oath of secrecy.

Also, hospital staff who are Nigerians or other Africans working in or around the unit where President Yar’Adua is kept have all been moved to different wards.

It would be recalled that Presidential aide to President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua on National Assembly
Matters Senator Mohammed Abba Aji told the Senate recently why the President has not been seen by top government officials in Saudi Arabia.

Abba Aji said the security and protocol around Yar’Adua are controlled from the palace of the king of Saudi Arabia and that the section of the hospital where
Yar’Adua is kept is the one used by the King.

wow, official boy boy of the nation. I hope when he comes back from his holiday in europe (or is it saudi), he resigns. how on earth would a normal human being face this kind of insulting demotion. A constitutionally recognised minister now one without a portfolio? thank you fellows for educating me. wow!

Fellows, thank you for exposing me to the functions of a special duties minister even though it appears Aondoaka was only left threre just be called a minister. i see this as a demotion. A highly placed and the only constitutionally recognised minister now made one without a defined function. Does this men that Jonathan is punishing him for all the utterances he made and for being on yaradua's side and not Jonathans? Aondoaka never supported Jonathan being acting president, at least from his utterances. Does this also mean that Jonathan really wanted to be acting president and saw Aondoaka as an obstacle? please somebody help, this is all confusing!

Please dont laugh at me. I dont think i have ever really heard of a minister of special duties. If i heard, then it never aroused my curiousity. I have followed keenly the buccal dysentery episodes of Aondoaka over the past 79 days. His if-you-are-smart-resign-now redeployment to special duties ministry got me curious. Please dont laugh at me, could fellow nairalanders help me with what really are the functions of a special duties minister. thank you.

PoliticsBola Tinubu Stops Pastor Bakare's Radio Message by hillsate(op): 9:16pm On Jan 17, 2010
Pastor Tunde Bakare, one of the organizers of the Save Nigeria Group could not be heard on Radio Continental FM in Lagos this weekend, despite the fact he had paid for this message to be broadcast. The broadcast was canceled only a few minutes before it due to be aired. Although the stoppage was implemented by the Nigerian Broadcasting Corporation (NBC), sources close to the owner of Continental Radio FM, former Lagos Governor, Bola Tinubu, told Saharareporters that he was personally behind the cancellation because of his cosy relationship with the Yar'Adua regime.

The former governor remains fearful of prosecution over allegations of corruption compiled by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He is believed to be mobilizing against the mass rally slated by the Save Nigeria Group for Lagos next Thursday, January 21.
