If GEJ is spending state fund nko? Atiku sir, didnt you and Obj do thesame thing in office for your second term? however, yours is worse because you are currently using the state funds you displaced while in office for your campaign. Sir, i also read that you are challenging other presidential aspirants to an economic debate. Sir, what economic policies did you put in place while in office aside fighting your boss? Charity begins at home. You could not fix the only access road to your state of origin for the 8 years you were in office how can u convince me that you can fix things elsewhere? Nigerians are no longer moved by dirty campaigns. Face the real issues. Jonathan is not your problem. Go and settle who will emerge among you, IBB, GUsau,Ribadu, Saraki before u can face GEJ. Goodluck has done in 8 weeks what you couldnt think of achieving in 8 whole years. Dammit! |
wait, i dont understand. Atiku wants to be president yet he's not aware of a grand occurrence as GEJ's declaration! Sir, if you are not aware of big things like this then we are in trouble because the plight of the common man will not even be an issue. now i understand why over dilapidated Gombe-yola road was never mentioned throughout your tenure of 8 yrs as VP talkless of even fixing it and you are from Yola! Sir, the politics of now has enjoyed a paradigm shift where people are voted just because the are from the north or have money. Politics is now evidence based. Ca you truly give account of your 8 yrs tenure as VP? haba! |
@china kobo, you have interesting analysis but reduction in tariff does not neccessary translate to congestion. Why do we have to pay for sms fof goodness sake! they can reduce the tariff and make sms free, this way it will not lead to congestion. |
Mr Governor Sir, Jus to remind you that God has called us both as priests and as kings. There is a time to pray as a priest and there is a time to excercise authority as a king. I think we have been priests for too long! and it appears we just content. ENOUGH OF THE PIUS PRAYERS! |
Please i'll really appreciate it if someone can tell where i can get a free e-copy of The Complete Book of Zingers by M. Croft. thanks |

THE Federal High Court in Asaba, Delta State, on Tuesday, struck out the mandamus suit seeking the prosecution of the former chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for alleged abuse of office and other offences. The presiding judge, Justice Ibrahim Buba, in his ruling, questioned the jurisdiction of the matter, which he considered as misplaced. The applicant, Steve Osowa, had ,on April 13, urged the Federal Government to prosecute Ribadu for the offences EFCC said he committed while in office to logical conclusion whenever he was sighted in the country But Ese-Gam Owe, Osowa’s lead counsel, submitted in his argument that the court was one, no matter where it was situated. He said the non-prosecution of Ribadu might plunge the country into a lawlessness if not properly handled. He said “an offence is allegedly committed at a particular time, the suspect (Ribadu) left the country only for the EFCC to come out and say that the same offence is being withdrawn. Do we have two sets of laws?” In his ruling on Tuesday, Justice Buba, who was not convinced with the arguments of the applicant, threw out the case for lack of jurisdiction. http://www.tribune.com.ng/index.php/news/4643-court-strikes-out-suit-against-ribadu |
Dear Kosovo, if you want such kinda list just go straight and ask for. PLEASE SOMEONE TELL ME WHY IS KOSOVO POSING AS KENIFEH? IS IT NOT OBVIOUS TO YOU ALL? HABA KOSOVO, WHAT R U HIDING? |
Guys, i blame you all for even responding to this piece of synthetic news (myself inclusive). Kosovo, please tell the cabal ( cos it appears u have a thing going on with them) that d only proof that yaradua is even alive is summarised in these three lines. 1. Goodluck should be allowed to see Yaradua 2. Yaradua should physically address the national assembly 3. Yaradua should physically address the nation And all should be telecast live ( of course not by BBC). Then and only then will Nigeria take yaradua's soap opera serious. PLEASE ENOUGH OF ALL THIS FABRICATED-JOURNALIST-INDUCED NEWS! |
Guys, there is this hospital near where i live. The doctors went on strike one time and it took the hospital about 2 weeks to feel the impact. At one time again pharmacist went on strike and the hospital felt their impact in less that two weeks. Nurses went on strike and their impact was felt in less than a week. But people, cleaners went on strike and their impact was felt in less than 24 hours. Am not saying that cleaners should be made ministers of health but everyone in a health setting is very important. Healthcare is all about team work. The doc needs the pharmacist, nurses, lab scientist, etc vice-versa. No one is more superior than the other. The doctors argument is that they spend six years in med school while others spend less than that. I heard presently training for pharmacist is now six years Pharm.D ( doctor of pharmacy, already in UNIBEN). As long as someone is competent in the medical field and has managerial experience whether nurse or lab scientist is fit to lead the health ministry. I think the NMA is only scared that their so called supremacy in the medical field is fast nose diving and politics is one area it seems they can remain afloat. The health ministry is not the birthright of doctors. Prof ransome Kuti was a doctor and minister of health. he achived some feat BUT the present problem in the health sector was initiated by him. He jacked up the salaries of docs so high that disparity was obvious compared to the rest health professionals. The federal Govt is trying to address that disparity hence reason also why docs said they'll go on strike if the gap is narrowed. How more selfish can they be? THE NMA SHOULD GO ON STRIKE, THEIR INFERIOR IS NOW THEIR BOSS! |
The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has kicked against a statement credited to the President of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Dr Prosper Igboeli, insisting that the in-coming Minister of Health must be a medical doctor. Igboeli also threatened that medical doctors will cripple the health sector as well as make it impossible to achieve stability in the totality of its endeavours if a non-medical doctor is appointed minister. Read more http://www.sunnewsonline.com/webpages/features/goodhealth/2010/apr/06/goodhealth-06-04-2010-01.htm What arrogance! If the doctors do not cripple the health sector with the appointment of their inferior as minister of health then they should hide their face under the pillow and weep. Cripple ko . . . |

The new minister of health, Alh Suleiman bello is a nurse. last week the nigeria medical association insisted that the head of health ministry must be a medical practitioner ( subtly, a medical doctor). The NMA have always also insisted that they are the most important and superior in the medical setting. I'm glad that Jonathan called their bluff by putting the 'lowest' in cadre of the medical profession as head of the health ministry. This sholud teach the NMA that everyone in the health sector is very important. NMA, YOU CAN NOW GO ON STRIKE! |
