As a Nigerian soldier, if after pledging allegiance to protect and serve the federal republic of Nigeria, and you are dumb enough to protect individuals that claim to be citizens of illegal sovereign state like Biafra, then you deserved to be outrightly dismissed. This stupid soldier complaining that he was dismissed for protecting illegal entities like Biafrans is like a US soldier complaining that he got dismissed by US army for protecting illegal immigrants in US. It is a conflict of interest fool. However, if he protects the citizens of Abia, Anambra, Imo or any other state in Nigeria that are peacefully protesting for actualization of Biafra then he deserves not to be dismissed.

Now to the issue of if IPOB members are members of illegal organization or not. If members of an organization peacefully protest for actualization, emancipation, realization of any sovereign state they believe is for their good interest, then such organization is not illegal unless they take up arms against Nigeria Military force. This explain the reason why organization like Massob (Movement for actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra) and Mend (Movement for emancipation of Niger Delta) cannot be classified as illegal because they are movements for an interest. For Ipob (Indigenous People of Biafra) since the name of the organization didn't state if they are movement, what will be looked at is their agenda. If their agenda is to peaceful demonstrate for the secession of a region of Nigeria then they are legal. However, if their agenda is to take arms against federal republic of Nigeria, then the organization as well as its members are illegal.
These are some of the issues that would have been trashed out by Justice Nyako before he released Nnamdi Cownu on bail. I'm 100% sure that Cownu and his lawyers would have firstly pledge that he is a Nigerian and secondly vow that his organization is not a guerrilla organization that wants to declare war on Nigeria before he was released on bail. Otherwise, he would have been sentenced to death for treason.

There are 2 options for Alaigbo to leave, first option is through referendum where the Igbos and other separatists decide by vote if they want to stay in Nigeria or not just like Scotland did. The second option is for the Igbos to declare an illegal sovereign republic within Nigeria and challenge Nigeria to war just like Ojukwu did.
Every sane human being knows that the best option is option 1 which is referendum. However, since secessionalism was not included in Nigeria constitution (which was due to Igbo representatives antagonizing secession during the constitution conference of 1957 before independence), what Igbos need to do is to urge and mandated their leaders i.e governors and representatives in national assemblies i.e. senators and house of reps to sponsor a bill to include secession in the constitution. After the inclusion, then referendum by vote, after that, then we all know if Igbos will remain part of Nigeria or not.
But if the Igbos decide to go for the 2nd option, then it will be a case of people that do not learn from history. Hoping that Cownu with zero military training will lead war against Nigeria army will not only be foolish idea, it will be a total massacre. Also, the fact that Ojukwu with military training and massive amount of wealth at his disposal could not win a war against Nigeria implies that Cownu stand 0.000000001% of lasting upto 1 month if him and his foolish ipob declare war against Nigeria.
Now my question is, will the intelligent Igbos condemn this im.becile to garbage of history he belongs or will they look and continue to allow him to incite hatred from other tribes in Nigeria towards them?

But another important point we should all remember is that Buhari and his administration are trying to fight a culture of corruption that has been around for decades. Also, the fact that there are many corrupt individuals present in Buhari administration makes the whole fight against corruption a farce. In addition, the fact that crude oil price nosedived significantly after Buhari came into power makes the economy really hard and the fight against corruption more difficult.
