Our good old 9ja has never instituted a ban or automatic quarantine on anybody, including people from Wuhan!
For our having no corona,
THANK OUR WEATHER NOT GOVT!!!

*For the low-info people who keep mentioning Iran:
IRAN IS COLD! STOP COMPARING IRAN AND NIGERIA!!!
Average temp in Iran: 9.9C
Average temp in Nigeria: 26.1C

**FTC! FTC!!
I dedicate this FTC to our hot weather

U can be proud of Nigeria, I’m proud of Nigeria too.
But let’s not base it on a lie. All evidence is that Wuhan virus does not transmit in warmer areas. Even in Italy almost all the cases are in the cold northern regions (see below).
Countries have long banned flights from, or automatic quarantine for all high-incidence areas (see below - travel bans in US in February!). Nigeria has done none of that to date.
With this attitude just think what would have happened if our weather were cold!
By the way our rainy season is not cold. Nigeria never gets cold the way we’re talking about.
THANK OUR WEATHER NOT ANY GOVT.!!!
Saddist spotted.

RIP to our gallant soldiers.
Meanwhile,

On Buhari’s $22.7 Billion Loan.

The North is too greedy (70% of the loan is for the North). The funny aspect is that resources from the Niger delta will be use to pay back 90% of the loan. The North will contribute absolutely nothing to the repayment plan.

How can my neighbor borrow money to develop his land for his children and my children will be responsible in paying back the loans while his children contribute nothing! What benefit does the South derive from the North?
I think the south especially the Niger deltans are very foolish. Very, Very Foolish indeed!

Nigeria has always been a laughing stock the very day GEJ handled over to the CLOWN himself..

-Imagine an acting chairman of the EFCC saying that he strongly believe that Corruption is the cause of Corona Virus.

-Minister of Transportation also made a ridiculous comment that he doesn't like money.

-Femi Adesina gave his own ridiculous statement about how Buhari body language made the Super Falcons lift the nation's cup.

-Lai Mohammed? We all know that one.

-Audu Ogbeh came up with something more disgraceful.... "We will make pencils in Nigeria by 2018"

China is a notoriously lying country!
They have been known to manipulate figures, since the beginning of times. They have been pushing down the actual figures of corona virus victims by at least 1:200. Many have died in thousands, many are still dying in thousands. According to foreign sources, the pandemic has not yet peaked and since it is a communist country, free press is banned so you will never know.

So if you (And Uncle Laya Mhmd) hope that China will tell you the truth about the virus, I laugh at your ignorance!

Nigeria should do what every sane country has done, go get your citizens out of that country, quarantine them in Nigeria for 14 days and then free them. All these other grammar is meaningless!

Also note Sept 2014 during Ebola, China quarantined Nigerians for about 3 weeks in my school then. No, Nigerian govt did not look for them. So we are also known for abandoning our citizens in the time of crises.
Na wa oooo. I can see you are sad about the development. Kuku go and bring the virus and give your family to consume

I noticed this a lot, like Nigerian men are petrified of pretty women.

Been on dates were the guy stammers for hours.... another one where the guy's hands keep shaking like wtf..

I noticed guys are afraid to approach me; like you see them gathering and planning who would come talk to me, but none ever grew enough courage.

Took my friend's sister to an audition once ( cos I drive) and all the dudes where just saying hi like over 10× and smiling sheepishly without one with enough courage to talk. Even the one that tried struggled.

Is this a self esteem issue?
Why are you waisting your time bringing this issue to a platform filled with inexperienced lazy guys. I don't know you but I think you need to mingle with the right people.

People That Chew Their Finger Nails Excessively Are Not Ordinary

The door and window of criticisms are open. So feel free to say whatsoever you want to say.

Anyone that has short finger nails take note of these facts, but put in mind that....

I'm not a scientist, let alone an expert, however experience has taught me more about humans, and as such I've seen some traits in humans that correlate with my personality. I study people in a subtle way that does not involve their attention, and I take note of anything considered 'unusual' 'rare' to find. I make sure I get a consistent result by extending this study to other people and to myself. If they're all the same I then arrive at my conclusion.

I know we have bunch of Nairalanders here that chew their nails like there's no tomorrow and I'm hoping and believing that they can openly attest to these facts that I am about to share.

1.These people are extraordinarily intelligent and most of them are good at Math.

2. Chewing their fingers in any settings help them concentrate even more better.

3.They are mostly shy and introverts. They don't talk too much; they talk less.

4.They are hypocrites and pretentious. Hardly can you suspect them due to their quite nature.

5.When it comes to high sex drive, rank these people as number one!

6.They are unpredictable.

7. They are highly creative, imaginative and possess great insights to human's problems.
You just described me 100% correct

PoliticsRe: Gains We Have Made On Different Fronts, By Buhari In Meeting With British P.M by hmohammed(m): 10:33pm On Jan 20, 2020

Kindly read this

BORDER CLOSURE: THE FATE OF PETER - A ROB PETER TO PAY PAUL SCENARIO.

Lagos is what it is, because of its proximity to the seaport, so also is the border to many communities, town and villages which have existed close to it. The border closure to those living very close to the border is more like shutting down the seaport in Lagos. Sure, transport workers would be affected, those who earn a living around the port would surely lose their businesses, the rich would become poor, likewise the poor become poorer.

15 out of the 36 States in Nigeria has communities which has since it's origin built their day to day living around the border. Either those who specialize in transporting goods from the borders, to those who Warehouse them, to those who haulage the goods to and fro between the vehicles and the warehouse to Mama-Put who is waiting for the labourers to retire to her shed as they celebrate their day pay, to the business man who lodged in an hotel monitoring the goods to ensuring they are intact, to the mechanic who prays one of those vehicles running haulage comes to service their vehicle, to the spare part seller, to the provision sellers that believes more money in circulation would stimulate her business and the little kid who was driven from school hoping his parents would have made enough sales to pay a part of his school fee, to the principal, teachers, printer, tutorial coach and the list is endless.

Then it hits them so hard that the border where their incomes comes from been closed. At first, everyone keeps hoping high, hoping the border closure won't last more than few days, everyone is smiling not knowing the kind of situation and mess that lies ahead. Spendings are still as though nothing happened. Hopes are high, expectations and optimism eventually losing momentum like a spinning fan which has been disconnected from electricity. The longer their hopes linger, the more their ability to stay hopeful fades. Hope deferred makes the heart sick.

As times goes on, businesses fold up, the town's become deserted, loans cannot be paid, properties are confisticated, dehumanizing thoughts rage, people take to drugs to subside tension and griefs. The young boy who gets enough income to sustain himself has no where to run to. Crimes in the society begins to be on the rise and as he tune to his television having ran out of DSTV subscription, he finds on NTA a well dressed man with nice trimmed beard saying to him, how the border closure has boost production in his company. Its merely a scenario of Peter robbing Paul the poor boy reflects as he feel the whole narrative was a scam. While Peter is lamenting seeking media attention to express his ordeal. The media are after Paul who is rejoicing that the economy is booming since that's the purpose of their existence.

Comparative advantage was one of those favorite topic my economics mind would never forget, in comparative advantage, we are told that, its better that a country produce a goods if its final price would be lesser or equal to that from another location.

So far so good, ever since the closure of the border, cost of rice has skyrocketed despite the fact that the quality of the locally produced rice is lower and the stones which are a bonus too.

Well, I am not really against border closure, at least why do we have leaders if they can't come up with policies. At least, policies are policies whether they favour the dying man or not. But my bullseye is this, now that the border has been closed. How would those who are affected survive?
The disadvantages associated with opening the borders are also endless.

GamalNasser:
Convert this figure to dollars you will see the Nigerian customs of has been in reality earning less since 2014 .. in 2014 Nigerians customs revenue was 978. Billion naira and when converted into 2014 dollar it comes to 5.9 billion dollars and the compare with a conversion of 2019 revenue of 1.3 trillion naira which comes to 3.6 billion dollars meaning there is a drop in value of 2.3 billion dollars which means the customs is actually earning far less ... Buhari is a total failure
What kind of analysis is this. Customs revenue is mainly naira. So we should compare apples. Or am I missing something here?

This is really touching. Further exposes the fact that our dear country is losing the war to these extremists and Buhari is helpless.

This is a time where Nigerians for once must keep tribal and religious sentiments aside to vote out the incompetent Buhari. The man has failed abysmally in every thermometer used in measuring governance.
Is that what you can make out of the touching write up. The annoying part was that you further stressed the part that we should keep tribal and religious sentiments aside.

Is it not an impressive one from this Government that they have been able to keep the soldiers motivated to fight this deadly terrorists and consequently keep its citizens safe.

I am very sad at the quality of men we have in this country.

God bless our soldiers and God bless Nigeria.
