Eduardo and Walcott named in squad for sunday Some good news!!! |
coded guy:A certain Alex Ferguson once took a football boot from the floor and aimed it at David Beckham. He didn't miss(unlike that Iraq journalist). ![]() Poor David bled and had to be stitched. ![]() |
coded guy:@ Coded Its Aston villa playing Spuds next, not Manure What would I gain if Spuds play Man utd ? there would only be a smile on my face, probably,If the match is stopped abruptly at half time because all 22 players including Fergie and Harry, are involved in a mass brawl!!! ![]() |
http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_5009203,00.html `DRUNK` ASH COLE ARRESTED - REPORT Ashley Cole was reportedly arrested early on Thursday morning after a drunken confrontation with police. The Daily Mail online claims that Cole was arrested after repeatedly swearing at police outside the Collection nightclub in Brompton Road, South Kensington. Cole had attended a charity event at Chelsea Football Club before heading to Collection, which he left at 2.15am. After reportedly refusing to tone down his language, Cole was arrested and taken into custody to sober up, before being released three hours later with a fixed penalty notice of £80 for being drunk and disorderly. A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "At about 2.15am today, a man was arrested in Brompton Road, South Kensington, on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly and taken to a central London police station where he was later issued with a fixed penalty notice for being drunk and disorderly and released at 5.37am." Now its Cashley. Mikel Obi, Michael Essien, Frank Lampard,John Terry etc Why does this club breed drunkards ? |
tkb417:I will take you up on this.God keep us alive! debosky:@ Debosky, They are playing the spuds next. Thank God, the spuds are not safe from relegation yet, else, They could play the B team and lie down for a spanking, I hate having to rely on the spuds to win a game. Imagine moi cheering Bentley,Jenas or Keane very disgusting[sub] or be in the same camp with guys that sing 'Stand up if you hate Arsenal' ![]() Sometimes, you have to dine with the devil!!! ![]() |
allboyz:@Allboyz, Just keep laughing with them when you read what they've posted. They just wanna get you involved in irrational and illogical arguements. At 4.45 on Sunday, it was 8 points gap and byebye to CL and talks of Everton overtaking us. As at 10.30 yesterday(Wednesday), it has become a 3 points gap and Everton further behind. And the talks are still going on. See, no point arging, just ignore them as much as you can abeg ![]() |
tkb417: ![]() |
tkb417:I have this feeling that it would be bayern vs Man utd in the Q-finals. Hope there won't be broken heads over the net when it happens ![]() |
Cristalz:Don't let me descend on you ![]() Because once again, you've switched to Scummie logic ![]() Go gunners mean we should keep winning our matches, because Villa is in a free fall(like it was predicted) If we had won just one of those silly drawn matches, gap would have been just one point this evening. This villa side looks done and dusted for this season. All those last minute deflected goals thingy is over!!! ![]() however, we should keep the momentum.!!!! |
@tkb417, I think I need to take up betting as a profession. I predicted that the blue half of scumland will win by 2-0 Thanks citeh. potential 8 points gap at the weekend has been cut to 3 points. Go gunners! |
Ibime:Actually, when he was at Charlton on loan, we rejected two bids for him, one was from Real Madrid and the other was from Inter!!!! ![]() tkb417:You took the words outta my mouth. If not for AW's mind boggling goof during the summer when he didn't sign a DM to replace Flamini, neither Song nor Denilson would have been in the 1st team this season. The DM would have partnered Fab4 and we would have had Theo/Rosicky as RW and Prince Nas at LW. Eboue, Denilson,Song were all supposed to be Grade B eggs (Apologies to JM )But injuries and AW's folly got us into this!!! |
This was culled from Football365.com Top Ten Unpopularity Contest Winners These are players their own club's fans love to hate. No guessing who's number one in our list but would you have put Pascal Chimbonda higher? Read our rogues' gallery and mail us or use the lovely box below to put forward your own suggestions for players unpopular with their own fans, 10) Pascal Chimbonda (Tottenham) "Kevin Keegan has approached me and they've offered me more money. I am definitely leaving Spurs. It's all about the money. I don't care about the final, I don't care about the cup," Pascal Chimbonda allegedly told 'pals' last January. He did stay, he did play in the Carling Cup final - and then promptly stormed down the tunnel when substituted. He also missed the penalty that saw Spurs ousted from the UEFA Cup and nobody shed tears when he left for Sunderland last summer. There weren't too many flags out when he returned in January, even more unpopular than before. 9) Luis Boa Morte (West Ham) "I just don't understand the boos from the fans for him," said Gianfranco Zola after the Portuguese winger was booed off when the Hammers played Middlesbrough in the FA Cup last month. But Boa Morte has become the symbol of the previous regime at the Hammers, bought for £5m, paid massive wages and has mostly flattered to deceive. They thought he'd gone to Hull but after realising that Hull was, in fact, in Hull, he is still at West Ham. And still unpopular. Andrea Dossena (Liverpool)"I think they need to give Dossena time because he is a good player," says John-Arne Riise, who has become a Reds' fans favourite in absentia since the portly Italian came to Anfield for £7m. Yes, £7m. "I am not fully happy with my level," he has said himself, and it's fair to say that Liverpool fans concur. The most commonly-heard phrase when Dossena plays: 'Can you believe he's Italy's first-choice left-back?' No fellas, we can't. 7) Florent Malouda (Chelsea) Fans don't mind players not being world-beaters if they look like they might care a jot, and Salomon Kalou falls into that camp. The boy is no Robinho, but he does put in the hard yards. On the other hand there's Florent Malouda, who has produced roughly four moments of quality since arriving for a massive £13.5m almost two years ago. We're yet to meet a single Chelsea fan who rates him, though curiously we are yet to meet a Chelsea fan who blames Jose Mourinho for wasting so much cash on the inept Frenchman. 6) Nicklas Bendtner (Arsenal) Granted, he's not good enough for a Champions League-chasing side, but does he really deserve the dog's abuse he gets from Arsenal fans? If Robin Van Persie misses a chance, he's done well to get in that position. If Bendtner misses the same chance, he's a donkey. The multi-coloured boots don't help and quotes like this - "I should start every game, I should be playing every minute of every match and always be in the team" - stick in the mind even when the player claims mistranslation. Not since Francis Jeffers has an Arsenal striker been so maligned. 5) Joey Barton (Newcastle United) Calling your own fans "vicious" is not only a tad hypocritical if you are Joey Barton, it is also not the ideal to curry favour with people who were rather reluctant to welcome you in the first place. He's one of those players you never want to have to cheer on (Craig Bellamy escapes this list because he has started well for City) and it doesn't help when the player in question is usually either jailed, banned or injured. 4) Nani (Manchester United) A thread on a United forum before the Derby Carling Cup replay was entitled 'is this the last-chance saloon for Nani?', with one forummer saying he deserved to be booed after a series of quite frankly pants displays. Last season he was given the benefit of the doubt as a raw talent like Ronaldo before him, but United fans have run out of patience and Nani has become an expensive liability. He only looks half-decent against poor opposition and the only surprise from the Carling Cup final was that he was left on for 120 ineffecive minutes. 3) David Bentley (Tottenham) Not because he's ex-Arsenal - though doesn't help - but because he has looked like a £1.5m footballer but came with a £15m price tag. He also comes with a Bertie Big-Bollocks reputation (though this is apparently undeserved) and can seem more pre-occupied with his hair than tracking back. "I could see with my own eyes that he wasn't doing what he was at Blackburn," said Harry Redknapp, and he wasn't the only one to notice. So bad in the first half against Burnley in the Carling Cup semi-final that he was booed off the pitch. He did not appear for the second half because he was ill - "apparently", as Redknapp put it. But never mind, he can redeem himself in the Carling Cup final, oops. 2) Lucas Leiva (Liverpool) "People just don't know how good Lucas is," said Rafa Benitez, who reacted to Lucas' booing by Liverpool fans in a goalless draw with Fulham in November by stubbornly leaving him on the pitch for the full 90 minutes. Benitez is regularly harangued by Reds wanting to know the answer to the 'Lucas - why?' question, and the shouts became louder after a lazy tackle gave away a penalty against Wigan just days before a red card against Everton cost Liverpool an FA Cup place. But Rafa is not for budging and Lucas remains a big part of his plans. 1) Emmanuel Eboue (Arsenal) Substituting a substitute is usually only an option if the player is injured or if you suddenly realise that he is not George Weah's cousin after all, but back in December Arsene Wenger hauled Eboue off purely because his every touch was being booed by the Emirates crowd. 'Eboue would be an awesome player if he could pass, shoot and didn't hit the deck quite so much', wrote one Arsenal fan in the mailbox after the Roma win last week. Which is curious as many newspapers had the energetic Eboue down as Arsenal's man of the match. But when they hate you, they hate you. |
Ibime:Claptrap of the year so far. Guess you only read about Arsenal I am not sure you watch the matches. Absolute Rubbish from the first word to the very last. Denilson(good offensive midfielder) ![]() Everyone should be passing the ball like Fabregas. Kolo and Billy(average defenders) ![]() djorou, a waste pipe ![]() I dont know which part of the world you are, but its too early to be high on Local undistiled Brew! ![]() |
if Arsenal loses, they are here when we draw, the drivel continues Even after a win, they just can't stop vomiting debris! @ Ibime, You can have Eboue and Song gladly My stress is that which manager will turn them into World beaters? Hiddink ![]() he will be gone in the summer. Who's coming?? 5 managers in 22 months ![]() |
tkb417:No way 2-0 to Citey SWP and Ireland would be on the score sheet. Agbonlahor to miss a penalty ![]() |
tkb417:Yep, Citey is shitty and unfortunately,Bellamy wont be playing and Robinho is doubtful Bojinov(good player, but injury has almost wrecked him) and Darius Vasell should start. Hoping SWP,Ireland and co will step up their game at least for today. I will be a blue scummie tonight!!! ![]() |
@ Debo, I think it was you that predicted that once Nic starts scoring, he won't stop. ![]() I raise my glass to that. he should start on sunday by 'righting' the wrong of his many misses against Burnley in the cc. Don't worry Debo, when Nic scores, i will be on ur side against Kit and when Ade scores, I 'll be on Kit's side. It's all for the good of Arsenal! ![]() Hope the blue half of Scumland will do us a favour tomorrow against Villa ![]() |
Hey Gooners, Just coming in. Didn't see the match But I was updated every time by gooners all over the world via text. I have been so delighted. This 0-0 had to stop and so glad it did finally. Its Burnley next on sunday Go gunners |
@ Cris the one out of 140million thing was a tongue in cheek statement. What's up tonight? You need to drink a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice ![]() |
@ Cris, Take it easy na You know you are my favourite manc and I hate to see u lose your temper. ![]() OK, you ain't like other Nigerians. Is that ok? ![]() |
Cristalz:I wonder why you are so mad We are going about in circles. the last census figures told us that we have 140,000,000 Nigerians. You are just one outta all of them who feels otherwise. So what are you on about? If you told us, you knew plenty people who feel the same way you do. We can start to argue. But as of now, i don't get you. ![]() That aside jo. Simpson should right now do us a favour by teklling the Bromites not to park the bus and come out and play ![]() We just can't afford not to win tonight |
@ Kit, abeg Leave them alone. I have had countles arguements about this with Pips. They are all in a state of denial. Tell Cris to name other half nigerains like Ade playing top flight footie!! in rival clubs!!! |
Dr Kitaun:@ Kit Really the truth is bitter. While I must confess that Ade isn't my favourite player at Arsenal, I have always wondered why Ade is hated so much, especially Nigerians! As per that 'famous' interview, i wonder where it crept out from. I never saw it or heard it ![]() The dude denied making such statements, but I guess his PR team also, didn't help him out. For tonight, even half a goal will do. ![]() |
FBS:Why? |
tkb417:You won't leave this stuff. I don't need to tell you when I became a Gunner and let's leave it as that. Like I said, posit all u like. When Kanu joined. I lived in London b4 When we started challenging for trophies bla, bla, bla Really,I wish to keep that part private. Just leave it that I am a gooner. I wonder what difference it will make to you.
Sunderland won the Championship league in 2007, u herb!!! They have got better achievements than Wenger in recent years. What u GAYnners don't get is different clubs have different goals. Aston Villa will celebrate Champions League spot more than the way United will celebrate it cos United fans expect SAF to be there all the time. Sunderland staying in the Prem is a big achievement for their fans. . . . .Arsenal failing to win any title in the past 4 years is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT to their fans so stop comparing Arsenal to Sunderland or MK fucking DONS. Compare Arsenal to their rivals(United, Chelsea and Liverpool).
I used to think u read posts before replying. Whoever mentioned Sunderland and what the Bleep they have achieved Was it not your fellow scummie mentioning Sunderland. Who compared Sunderland or MKDONs You scummies are fast becoming irritating You have moved from irrational reasoning to delusions. presido1:This is our thread and any scummie that comes here cannot post drivel and go Me, die, because of claptrap from Scummies, that will be the day!!! |
Really the beef for Ade, not just by Gooners, but by Nigerians, is that connection with Nigeria And also the spat he had with Steven Keshi that got Keshi sacked. Remove those two above and assuming his name had been Emmanuel Koffi or Emmanuel Toure, maybe Nigerians would have warmed up to him! Internationally, His stupid statement of 'Pay me like Henry, if you want to see me score as many as Henry' irritated the Emirates faithful and many have found it hard to forgive him. |
tkb417:You can posit all you like. (Refering to the highlighted) Can't swap my red and white jersey for any other team You talk about Sunderland and I am telling you that if we start playing Mk Dons and the likes, i will still be a Gooner! afterall, those guys have got life long fans also! |
tkb417:Nah! Not necessary. It could have been a year ago,it could have been since the days of Chapman! ![]() Like I said earlier, the true worth of a fan is staying with the club through thick and thin! |
tkb417:Really disappointed in reading the highlighted. (wondering if you are a glory hunter )I ain't no glory hunter. If I was one, I would have joined the Roman army!!! ![]() and would have probbaly decamped now and joined Manure ![]() But my friend, i am a loyal fan. AW has got it wrong in the last few seasons. (I make it bold that I criticise duely both him and some of his underperforming players) It doesn't make him a bad coach. You guys behave like he's never won anything since he came to England. Am sure its fans like you that wanted SAF sacked after going trophyless for just a season and finishing last in the CL group ![]() I was with arsenal during the good times and I enjoyed every moment of it. Now, we are going through hard times and i will STICK with them. The Kop don't stop singing even when they are losing. I won't stop loving the Arsenal no matter what. |
Scummies are becoming blind not just plain annoying @ Coded Do u read my posts at all? All gunners are angry with AW and at the emirates last Saturday. The team was booed at half time and at the final whistle As early as game 2 against Fulham,I slated the entire team for poor performance (Folahan dug up the post some time ago) and I do from time to time @tkb417, I dont know what your problem is. Winning is everything. Yes, But I can't trade my red and white jersey for any other club. If u can't deal with that, go and choke on gutter water ![]() |
tkb417:Why not freaking wait till Roma spells us and quit rubbing your privates now Should I drum into your head? ![]() tkb417:A scummie will forever remain a scummie. A few moments ago, you were talking about forecasting, prophercy, bla, bla, bla WTF is the highlighted. Even your gaffer who has seen it all is playing down on the quintiple, yet you guys are having dreams Quintiple ko,Sextuple or whatever ni. rubbish tkb417:E be like say this unbeaten thing dey pain you. Sorry All this came about when a chav said we didnt achieve anything between 02 and 04 Who is talking about the unbeaten run as at today. Trust a scummie to always get it twisted!!! Emperoh:Me, faint, because of rantings by a Scummie ![]() Not in this world!!! Bring it on. ![]() A gunner I remain through thick and thin. The love for the Red and White army will never cease. Only that you voyeurs will always continue to desecrate this holy thread! |
@ Sauron and tkb417 You can't wish history away Lailai Those set of players are the only ones dubbed as the invincibles!!! AND IT'S A UNIQUE RECORD. Try equalling it and let's see SCUMMIES. Comparing that record to your 14 games without conceeding a goal or to Chelsea's unbeaten home run ![]() Rubbish!!! ![]() Our being the only team not to conceed in UCL for the longest period(can't remember the exact minutes) should be in the same category with those minor records you stated above!!! |
