kandiikane: Please, speak what you know of. Many african girls who lose their virg!nity early have been abused by older men. If you want to speak of morals, tell the men to look in the mirror. You should also speak of what you know, does it mean all the 362 must have lost theirs to rapists as you want us to believe? I am not disputing the fact that some of them became what they are from being molested and all that but i don't believe all were. either can you ignore the fact that some did it willingly and some with the help of the siblings did it, even some must have done it with the help of their female friends. all comes back to the dwindling moral in the society!. |
bukatyne: What morals? were they disflowered by themselves? @ OP, That Principal is sickTo you, the stat is okay? 12-16yrs, 38 virgins out of 300? hmmm i see why it's getting worse if someone like you feel we shouldn't be worried about morals. I have the feelings some of them deflowered themselves with the help of their fingers or even engaging in gay activities. |

70-Year-Old Woman Looks Like She Just Turned 40 Thanks to Vegan Diet and Rainwater Read more at http://www.odditycentral.com/news/70-year-old-woman-looks-like-she-just-turned-40-thanks-to-vegan-diet-and-rainwater.html#Z9QJF0okvL60TROu.99 By Sumitra on March 7th, 2012 Category: News, Videos Just yesterday, we wrote about Dr. Life, the man with a 70-year-old’s face and a 20-year-old bodybuilder’s physique. Well, now in the news is another 70-year-old who seems to have found the secret to eternal youth, only hers doesn’t imply using growth hormones and testosterone. Annette Larkins doesn’t look a day over 40, thanks to the diet and lifestyle she maintains. She looks so young that people mistake her to be the daughter, when she’s out with her husband of 54 years, but I suppose he isn’t complaining. Mrs. Larkins says the secret to her beauty lies in the raw vegan diet, consisting of organic vegetables, fruits, seeds and nuts grown in her own garden, she calls the ‘fountain of youth’. The woman doesn’t touch anything that has been cooked. And another strange thing she does is collect rainwater, to keep her garden blossoming, but also to drink. But the resident of Miami-Dade County, Florida, didn’t always have such a healthy lifestyle. In fact, she consumed meat regularly, as her husband used to own a meat factory way back in the 1960s. It was then that she decided to change her eating habits forever. And what a great decision that was. I mean, just look at her! Google Annette Larkins, and words like “fountain of youth” and “age-defying” are sure to pop up. The 70-year-old has a more modest description of her lifestyle, which includes a diet of raw foods and consistent exercise. TM.com chatted with Larkins about how she maintains her health and gorgeous spirit. Tell us a little bit about where you are from. A: I was born in Asheville, North Carolina, but left when I was a baby. I consider Miami, my home; after all, I have lived in my present abode for 50 years. What sparked your interest in a vegan lifestyle? A: I became a vegetarian in 1963 after developing a total distaste for dead-animal flesh. After noticing positive benefits derived from being a vegetarian, I took another step in abstaining from white edibles such as white rice, white sugar, and white flour. Since I felt better each time I removed an unhealthy food choice, it made so much sense that there must be a correlation between eating well and being well. I later read how dairy products cause excessive body mucus; so I excluded them along with eggs. The next phase of my evolution took me to what I call The Kingdom of Living Foods, live and raw, where live is king, raw is queen, and I am a willing and loyal subject. This is the stage at which I am presently, comfortably settled. You call the garden you grow your "Fountain of Youth." What do you eat on a typical day? A: The foods that I consume daily vary depending on my mood; nevertheless, it is safe to remark that my day-to-day diet will consist of dark green vegetables such as collards, kale or lettuce. Sometimes it may be all of these and more. I like to break the fast—known as breakfast with juice—presently, I am in a wheatgrass mode. I also will partake of noni juice from my garden. I may indulge in one of the dishes found on my DVD Annette’s Raw Kitchen, which includes spicy collard greens, nut balls, pizza, wild rice, et cetera. What type of exercise do you do? A: I generally achieve eight miles of activity throughout the day; a portion is done in my home gym on the treadmill. I ascend and descend my spiral staircase until I have accomplished 50 to 100 floors. I walk, bend, stretch and squat, as I weed, water, nourish, and plant in my garden. Oh, yes, one of my passionate activities is dancing. I revel in prancing around, free styling to artist like John Legend and Mary J. Blige at the moment; of course, Michael Jackson will continue to add to the excitement of movement. Since it is important to exercise the mind as well as the body, in order to stimulate my brain, I play computer solitaire at a very rapid speed—the purpose is to test how quickly I can place the cards in their proper position. I play computer chess in order to hone my strategic skills. What are some of the benefits you have experienced over the years as a result of your lifestyle? A: My memory is as good as or better than when I was younger, and throughout the years I have discerned increased clarity of mind, which I attribute to proper systemic feeding of cells. Before the change in diet, I would easily and frequently catch colds. Now, it seems that my immune system prevents the flu or cold germs from invading my internal domain. I am physically strong and mentally alert. Does your family follow the same healthy lifestyle that you do? A: Although each member of my family has tried different stages of my lifestyle, my oldest son is the one who has managed to hang on the longest; he eats like I do most of the time. How do you encourage others to live healthily? A: As for diet, I have produced the above-mentioned DVD Annette’s Raw Kitchen along with the booklets Journey To Health and Journey To Health 2. Of course, I espouse that food and drink are not the only factors to consider in a healthy lifestyle; exercise is most important. It is also necessary to get enough sunshine, and enough rest. I am always adamant about the significance of having a positive attitude as well. How do you feel when you hear people saying you are defying age? A: I contend that I am not defying age; at my age I should be experiencing exactly what I am experiencing—agility, vibrancy, the fruitfulness of life, and the wisdom of age. I hope to greet each chronological age that I am able to receive with preparedness to carry on in good standing (being psychologically, physiologically, and spiritually sound) for as long as I can. What are some foods you would encourage everyone to have in their diet, and why? A: Dark, green leafy vegetables are alkalizing and should be consumed on a regular basis in order to maintain balance in the body. Include as many raw, fibrous foods as possible to encourage regularity and overall nutrition—vegetables, fruits, nuts, and seeds. How does your spirituality and outlook on life play a role in motivating you? A: The spiritual part of me dictates that the evolutionary plane on which I find myself is not by accident; instead it is by design, and I am compelled to continuously reach for higher grounds, realizing that even though I shall never reach perfection, destiny will, nevertheless, lift me beyond what I ever imagined. http://www.transitioningmovement.com/Default.aspx?CN=9762832DDE5E https://www.facebook.com/annette.larkins.5

livialives: The principal has no right to conduct virginity tests period!! That is why schools have Religious studies for both Christian and Islamic students to teach them how to be morally chaste..(it is now up to them to heed teachings or not)It's not the school that's suppose to teach how to be morally chaste, it's the parents and the church and both have failed woefully! 38 out of 300, 12-16yrs. so much for a religious country! SECOND MOST RELIGIOUS COUNTRY IN THE WORLD! Damn it! ![]() The principal screwed up for doing what she was not suppose to do but alot of questions came by her action which we must not ignore. Are parents not failing in their duties? What exactly are being taught in churches/mosques? Does this mean we are likely never going to find a virgin in SS 3 not to talk of the University? ![]() |
livialives: People are still concerned about the virginity status of the girls instead of focusing on the real issue here..The principal should be punished for taking laws into her hands without the consent of the parents, that said and done. we can't ignore the immorality status of Nigeria this story exposed us to. 38 out of 300 girls between 12 years old to 16 years old is worrisome if not to you, but to me. that's a little more than 10%. |
You guys are ignore the other side of the story. 38 virgins out of 300 in SS 1 and with girls between 12-16yrs. is this not worrisome? ![]() |
laykhorn: Cant rememba the topic nw but we once had an argument in Politics sectionuhm ok.... |
ddippset: no shaktar finished second to juventus.Ha my bad, then we should avoid them, they are too tricky to play. |
laykhorn: I wonder! Its bn a while. Hw av u been?Good, sorry, we sabi? |
eunisam: Who told you that it is men that are responsible for their virginity lost?Sorry, but who's responsible? |
laykhorn: its so so sad to hear such statistic with girls in their prime. Parents, Religious bodies, schools and NGOs need to start doing something real fastYet Nigeria is the 2nd MOST RELIGIOUS country in the world. What exactly is taught in churches/mosques? ![]() |
lecturerdabo: Woe to the men who are destroying these young stars. May they suffer broken ankle on a new year dayAmen, woe to the men doing this and woe to the parents who have "reckless" past that haunts them when they try to correct their kids. |
laykhorn: Exactly my reply on the other thread with same content. I wonder what the world is turning intoVery disheartening. ![]() |
who is the i.diot hiding posts? the writer is edo, its the culture to not respect women, 99% of the posts on nl disrespecting women, are from edo males. deal with it, and if you cant, then talk to your friends who are starting these threads! they should stop projecting their personal experiences on others, and if they cant, then create a separate forum for bashing. you have a problem with this post, then present facts to disprove it!
What are you saying? the case of divorce is Edo state or Edo peeps is minimal, so what are you saying? if we don't respect our wives, why then do we have very rare divorce case? ![]() |
The worse part of it all is that only 38 pupils are virgins out of 300 pupils. They are just between the ages of 12 and 16 and in SS1. Now, if 262 are already deflowered at that age, where then do we expect to find "pure breed" wives from? (those still waiting)? This is in Ogun state o, not even in a very 'exposed" state like PH, Lagos, ABJ e.t.c I believe if this is mistakenly done in any of these cities i listed, we won't even find up to 10 virgins in the whole secondary school. So much for a religious country! ![]() |
ddippset: I rather avoid shaktar. No no to shaktar. I could manage milan and arsenal. But give me porto or galatasaray all day.1st and 1st cant play eachother na, i thought Shaktar finished 1st? |
swiftz: It's all about time management. You dey avoid me ni ![]() |
Milan should be okay. ![]() |
I don't understand what's going on here, how can some people count drinking (getting drunk) fun? is it that we don't understand what fun means again or what? ![]() |
tomakint: We have no way of knowing that, since there was no camera then!!!So why are they all saying they saw Jesus? ![]() |
Those that saw Jesus, how does he look like? ![]() |
efe22: Hello bro, thanks a lot and I just registered. They seems to be the best 'no deposit bonus' I ve found online. No wicked conditions attached when withdrawing profits that is you must complete x numbers of lots and bla bla bla...never here. Bonus are awarded to their own version of mt4 known as 'cTrader'. The platform may not be attractive but who cares as you can simply do your analysis else where and run your trades on their platform. Withdrawal is only by bank wire.Cool,i think you can withdraw via other means only if you deposit any amount with the new payment method. |
