Sincere 9gerian: It is obvious that the president doesn't even know much about the N16billion Sambo's residence contract. For this same issue, the 'retardinhos' have attacked, abused and cursed GEJ. Do we really expect one man to know everything and be involved in everything? As far as I'm concerned, there are institutions and those institutions should do their work and where they fail, all attacks should be directed at them, not an 'omnipresent' president. In this case, where the contract sum appears too high, the senate committee should do their work(which they'r already doing), the budget office, ministry of office and other parties concerned in the project should also do their work. Where foul play is suspected, the law should take its course.
But I completely understand the retardinhos. It is always convenient for them to blame everything on an 'omnipresent' president so as to score cheap political points

Billyonaire: You are intelligent enough to know that when Sahara Reporters states "Sources Say", they are referring to rogue journalists in other media houuses in Nigeria, sometimes these rogue journalists cant publish unverified info, so they ftp the info to Sahara. Sometimes, their editors dont want news out cos its biased, they ftp the info to Sahara. Thats the meaning of 'Sources Say" So I dont give a damn if its Punch or Chronicles. What I say in essence is, let their souls rest in phucking peace. And you should stop finding faults in people, cos you are on imperfect fellow I know in the history of Nairaland.
Oh you expect them to name their "sources" in this "jungle" called Nigeria? you claim they publish unverified news when the story does not go well with you, but when they published news about Yara dua's saga and host of other stories that tickled your fancy, some of you never raised the issue of "unverified" abi?

Pls tell me, who's suppose to "verify" news and which news should be tagged "verified" and "unverified"?

kandiikane: And I'm telling you two people who want to spend their lives together and raise children do not need the government to recognise that they are. You do not need a paper to say mr and mrs for you or others around you to know you want to spend your lives together. That paper does not guarantee a lasting union. You do not need the government to tell you, you're a couple.
No one is telling you paper makes a union last, what i am saying is that you're recognized as a couple by the society without legalizing the union via court. Period!

kandiikane: Marriage is not about recognition.

You enter into a partnership with someone because you want to spend your life with them and raise a family whether the government recognises the union or not.
Sorry but you're not in a lawless society where there are no rules/recognized authority. there are ethics and legality of a union is one of them, a man and wife must be registered with the government before they can be termed "couple" and this consist of getting the court involved.
I'm saying religion like the OP suggests has nothing to do with blessing and curses in a union.
I'm saying whether the state recognises ur union as marriage or not the simple fact that you have both agreed to be together to raise children means u're as good as married.
I'm saying that being together outside wedlock does not attract blessings or curses unless you're a mismatch.

*unfollowing*
When it comes to recognition, without legalizing the union, it's nothing but a mere "friendship/union"
the absence of legally binding commitment does not mean the absence of commitment. If it did then people would be free to have numerous boyfriends and fiancees would be free to sleep around with other men without their fiance getting angry since they aren't wedded yet.

You are committed when u decide to be. Legally getting married doesn't ensure that neither does it prevent people from being cheats.
What exactly are you saying?
The question of legality only comes to mind when/if there's a problem in the union that has to be settled by the law(esp with kids involvement) and for state record keeping. Other than that, a couple can be perfectly happy together without the involvement of the state.
Whatever the government does not recognize as marriage is not marriage, it's nothing but a "common union" which does not require any commitment from any of the party.

It's not different from sleeping with your numerous boyfriends/girlfriends and having babies everywhere.

this lifestyle have nothing in common with marriage.
RomanceRe: Cohabitating Out of Wedlock: A Blessing Or Curse? by honeric01(m): 8:52am On Dec 21, 2012
Why is everyone attaching marriage to religion? If it's a traditional wine carrying that's done, vow before a priest, a ship captain, even between just two people promising to stay together for the rest of their live, it's all marriage.

Kick out religion and it's implications and u'll realise there's no curse or blessing attached to a union. Marriage is as good as a voluntary organisation or even a cooperative society, only it's got 2 members.

So long there's a common interest, understanding(including knowing d implications of their union), and emotional involvement between 2 people who have decided to live together and raise children, they are as good as married IMHO.

Now wonder why some marriages done the conventional way still fail?
There are basic general principles governing a union and some which are belief oriented, u break even the least one of them and ur marriage is as good as doomed.
Even pagan countries like China, Singapore e.t.c, they still conduct marriages and without official/government recognition, you're not married. you can decide to do it religiously or otherwise, but you must be recognized by the country before it can become legal.

infofirst: From my Mail Boss edited
90% of all traders lose money trading. And out of the 10% that are profitable 70% of them give it all back in December. December is a VERY dangerous time to trade. Reason? Most traders take Thanksgiving until the beginning of January off. How does that affect the market? When there is a huge drop in volume in the markets ANY big orders, fundamental changes (crazy news announcements, etc) can cause a pair to just blow through support/resistance levels like they where not even there. This happened to my PSD customers yesterday. Sold EUR/JPY with a 150 pip stop...price went up VERY quickly to about -130 pips...almost stopping us out then dropping another 170 pips...all in 1 day. We closed that trade with a 39 pip profit.

So, what am I saying...just be very careful trading between now and January 6th. Lower liquidity equals a very volatile market. A quote that I always use in my webinars from Will Rogers "I am not as much concerned about return ON my investment as I am return OF my investment." Your #1 skill to learn in FX....protect your downside AND your back side, minimize risk...be careful in December.
Like i said yesterday, the market played out just the way i suspected, heading to 1.31xx, this market this period does not respect any indicator or system. just do it on a low key, pick few pips and close for the day until 2nd week of January when sanity returns to the market.
