Eagles game moved from Abuja Posted: 2010-08-31 11:37 Nigeria's 2012 African Nations Cup qualifier against Madagascar has been moved away from Abuja. NFF Media Officer Robinson Okosun explained that the National Stadium Abuja is hosting a youth Games, and the Glass House is now talking with the governments of Cross River and Kaduna States. Pending the conclusion of those discussions, the game will take place at either the UJ Esuene Stadium in Calabar, or the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna. “The U.J. Esuene Stadium for now looks favourite for the match because the Cross Rivers State Government has welcomed the NFF decision,” he said. “One thing is very certain here and that is the Super Eagles versus Madagascar match will not be played in Abuja. “The federation has engaged in discussions with the governments of Cross River and Kaduna for a possible takeover of the match and one of the two states will definitely play host to the game on Saturday.” Meanwhile, only 12 members of the Super Eagles commenced training yesterday in Abuja in preparation for the match. The NFF has given all the invited players today as dateline to report to camp for the match or risk being replaced http://www.kickoff.com/news/17505/super-eagles-game-moved-from-abuja.php |
Forget that talk, we never had world class players even in 1994,however any good coach should be able to assemble this players and play our unique and highly intelligent brand of football that makes us difficult to beat ,even by the world class teams. Tell me who was the world class player in 1994?
Why didn't their club managers turn them to world class players? in 1994, few African players played in Europe and the rest were based in the continent, the few that played outside were the best then, so that 1994 argument is so baseless. |
dayokanu:Hehehehe, the NPL wey i dey watch no get any of these clubs, it's not rancher bees, it's called Ranch bees and they have been relegated. Nigeria Premier League is the only FOOTBALL league in the world known as the NPL. |
Dis Guy:Hhehehehe, good news ![]() |
lynxnoon:I don abandon them taytay ![]() |
dayokanu:Where these clubs dey? i don't know this club oo ![]() |
Ranoscky:Which rain are you talking about? did the rain stop the rest from performing? i was not the only one that said he didn't perform, others that watched him also said the same, so bro don't blame the rain nor the pitch because he was not the only one on the field. |

What happened to his move to West ham? |
tkb417:Wolfsburg and Hamburg (Financially) are in the same level with Fulham, yet they have achieved what Fulham only dreams of. I repeat, Wolfsburg was never a BIG team in the German league until RECENT. Hamburg is also an average team no matter how you want to look at it, being an average team does not mean you must go on relegation, why they always make wave in the German league is because they know what they are doing and the league is also a balanced one. Infact i don tire joor Big names in the German league are Bayern Munich, Bayern Leverkusen, Dortmund, (Dayo abeg complete the rest jor ) |
lynxnoon:Nope bro, it's the USB own (zte) |

@Eastbay Abeg stop the stories, where did Fulham end last season? for your information, Wolfsburg was never a big name in the German league until recently, they are of same rating with Fulham incase you don't know, Hamburg and Wolfsburg are average clubs and it was because German league is almost balance (bar Bayern munchen), that was why they ended up winning the league. When last did any club from EPL win anything in Europe bar the regulars? (Man U and Liverpool) even as the clubs yapa full England reach? WITH ALL THE HYPES IN THE EPL, ONLY 2 CLUBS HAVE BEEN ABLE TO WIN ANYTHING IN EUROPE for more than 5 years now!!! Shame shame shame. Well, i am not even a German league fanatic, but when the truth is to be told, count me in ![]() My league remain the NPL and the La liga ![]() @tkb Shame no dey even catch you? with all the money for EPL, Na only 2 clubs don win anything for Europe for more than 5 years now (close to 10yrs and it's only 2 clubs out of the whole pack?) . My league is doing justice to that department (LA LIGA) ![]() |
And when Amodu said we had average players, alot of Nigerians kept calling the man names, why didn't the good coaches in each of these player's clubs turn them to world class players? why? |
d bigrod:U get front? |
tkb417:What has Fulham ever won in Europe? Eastbay:Who told you Hamburg finished well last season? where both of them finished was almost similar, you should have known that the one hot was a typo, but you couldn't assimilate that, poor you hehehehehe. Let's see what the EPL is capable of doing this season apart from just calling to make up numbers (Europa cup). And as for the UCL, they stand no chance of even making the semis this time around (watch this space) ![]() |
naijacutee:Well, if it was spambot, i would have know, but in this case, it's no spambot ![]() well sha, let it rest. |
Oh ok sir, i am really not on these kinda pair. |
Do something interesting with her camel's toe |
Jsk? uhmmm |
So 2,300 naira extra for just 2 extra channels or what? |
Less than average players!!! |
The guys on our NPL are good and i like them. |
Kinezeala:Hehehe, don't conclude on him like that, he has scored before. |
