How can Wema Bank be 79 years? I thought it's a new generation bank? If it's that old, then the level of impact is low compared to how long it has existed.

BusinessRe: LASG Threatens To Seal Supermarkets Over Non-disclosure Of Price Tags On Product by HonourableUche(m): 5:53pm On Apr 07, 2024
CaptainFM1:
It's not too much of a job to do.
What they could do is to use erasable system and hand written the prices. Once there is a price update the store assistants can then go to the particular product and update the price.

The erasable tag system should be placed behind a secured plain glass because some consumers too are unscrupulous.

Also, our superstores too should harmonize together and have a price comparison website or apps such as "super verison app" in the UK where you can enter all your groceries and you automatically know which store gives you the lowest price for each individual items.

Our supermarket need to improve consumers experience.
I'm happy you admitted that some People are unscrupulous. Again, the main thing that should be addressed is the inflation and the price and currency volatility. Once this is addressed, there will be no need for some of these measures such as mandating supermarket owners to affix price tags. What if it's not part of their business model?
BusinessRe: LASG Threatens To Seal Supermarkets Over Non-disclosure Of Price Tags On Product by HonourableUche(m): 7:11am On Apr 07, 2024
Most of the people applauding this are saying it from their place as just consumers. If you've been an insider or ever worked with or managed a big or medium sized supermarket or related shop, you'll understand why most of them don't put price tags.
What if I purchase items today for 10 naira and I put the selling price tag at 13 Naira. Then later in the day, the cost price has gone up to 20 naira. It means I have to change my own selling price so that I can be able to restock next time. Imagine if there were price tags, the shop assistants will be tagging and retagging the products almost all the time. It is a waste of useful time.

PoliticsRe: "HTTP Server Error" - INEC Opens Up IREV Failure During Presidential Poll by HonourableUche(m): 8:24am On Feb 23, 2024
What a joke. This is a lame insult at the sensibility of the Nigerian people. Whatever happened to the server in the presidential election was premeditated and planned against the masses who desired a new Nigeria.

Looking at the current state of the economy, I'm convinced that even the INEC chairman is regretting his actions.

You should be looking at the remedy. Stop using astringent deodorant roll on for now. Use Dettol antiseptic to clean it daily, then get Vitamin C, and multivitamins. It's usually self-limiting -it'll resolve in a few days. You may not need antibiotics.

Oga, do yourself a favor and demand that you do a paternity test to verify if you are the real father of that child. If the results come out to be true, then discuss the terms and conditions you're willing to accept for child support .

And lastly, you running or denying that you're not ready to be a "father " won't change the current reality that you've gotten yourself into a mess . Most especially if it turns out that you're the child's biological fathergrin
You're telling someone that doesn't have money to do a paternity test? Like seriously?

Oyinmiebiagric:
I went to see Ese that morning, I bought a Teddy bear for her,she was excited to see that I cared for her.

Ese: I never knew I could love someone the way I love you,I thought you will get me pregnant before you go, but there are still other time. She was emotional, I was emotional also,I don't know if I love Ese or what, but I know I care for her, regardless of what she and her mother did. She gave me a necklace and told me to always wear it,that it a symbol of our love and it will protect me.

Me: Ese, where do you have money to buy gold necklace from, hope you did not steal your mother's money to buy it?

Ese: Where else will i get money from if not my mom,i told her i want to buy something for you. If I don't buy gold, it will wash, but since its gold, please keep it for your life. She was doing as If I won't see her again, for the first time since I knew Ese, she refused to have sex with me,she wasn't on her cycle, she said she was not in the mood, give me Mouth Action,No,kiss me, No. She just hugged me told me to go,and when I come back, she would be here waiting for me.

Me: My heart was melted that day,if I was seeing the future I won't have left Lagos. As she was walking me down, we met Ajiri on the way,its been a while I saw him.

Ajiri: I hear say you dey go school today, you no say make you come dey with me make I give you small O.T wey you go use make you fit graduate for school. No go do wrong thing for there, anyway I trust Ebi, you no fit do that kind thing. Safe journey, dey come back come see your wife sha.

I got home my mom was back, she was angry I wasn't sleeping but walking around. Ifeoma stayed with me, each time she remember I'll be leaving her she'll start crying, as i am leaving there is no way I can communicate with her till I come back, same way with her.

Time to leave,my mom gave me five thousand, she said she will send the other money to my sister, she doesn't want me moving with cash. Ebi drove Ifeoma and I to the park, she was just crying as if I no go come back. We got to the park by five, but the bus didn't leave till about seven. I gave Ifeoma the five thousand my mom gave me,she wanted to refuse it,but I persuaded her that I have enough. Ebi later gave me two thousand. I boarded the bus and I could see her crying.

The reason I did not alight from that bus that day to be with the love of my life, is one of the biggest regret I have in life.

I sat there watching Ebi console her inside the car and they drove off. Enugu here I come. The second chapter of my life begins here.

RomanceRe: Why I Personally Avoid Girls On Low Cut by HonourableUche(m): 9:01pm On Apr 19, 2021
NiRfreak:
From my experience, I've had several shits with them, it may not be enough reason to stereotype them, but I usually try my best to avoid them and not have anything serious to do with them anymore.
Some of them may be nice, but I no longer let my guard down to commit to them, I'm always wary and careful around them.

This is why I took this stand:

1. They tend to be somewhat problematic in relationship as if they carry a lot of baggage from their past relationships. Somehow they allow it to get the best of them.
.
2. Most of them are carefree, nonconformist, and inflammatory. They will shock you when you least expect. So I tread carefully.
.
3. Many of them are lesbian, or bisexual. Most of them that I have encountered are like that...u may not know though if u can't read the tell-tale signs.
.
The worst among them are the ones with dye on their short hair. My suspicion is almost always right about them.
.
4. Most ladies tend to be particular about their hair...many of them who don't give a Bleep about long beautifully made hair are somewhat saying to hell with whoever who doesn't take me as I am. And they usually live by that code, cynical of guys especially.
.
5. Many of them are smart though, albiet intelligent, and can also be fun to be with...but under that coolness, hmmm don't take it for granted. least I forget, the educated ones like to be feminist.

6...Some of them are hostile to guys, or let me say they are quite touchy and irritable.
.
So these are my reasons for avoiding them...and most of them have not given me reason to doubt them.

PS: I have no problem with elderly women who don low cut, I think it's normal for a woman, especially who have seen all fashion, gotten into menopause and have grown up kids....but these young ladies, unmarried, or middle age ladies with hair cut...I stay clear and more careful around them.
I no like wahala.
.
What's your take about them, and what do you think?
I agree with no. 6. Most are irritable.
