The current update is that YOU MUST register all lower level CORE courses before you will be allowed to see your current semester courses. Check to see that you don't have any pending lower level CORE courses.

The pending lower core courses are 3, I missed the 3 exams previously. However it is requesting I register those 3 courses afresh, more like I have not done anything in those courses before. Last semester, it told me to register the 3 courses only as exams. I'm a bit confused here Enskynelson.

Just hold on. It's not supposed to be like that as that is not part of the changes that have been communicated so far. I advise you hold on with the registration for nlw.

Hello Enskynelson. Happy New Year. Please I have three outstanding courses from last year which I wrote the CA but didn't write the exams. Previously one could just register to the take the exam. However I noticed that the portal is prompting me to register the 3 courses again & not as missed exams. Is this how the new system is designed? I want to confirm I am doing the right thing.

Enskynelson:
If you are yet to register, pay your regular fees leaving the extra money IF you won't have money to clear a future negative balance. However, if you know anytime a negative comes you can afford to clear it, add money to it and do your registration. Whenever the negative comes up, you pay up and clear it.

Good Morning Enskynelson. I noticed that the balance money in my Noun ewallet increased from 5, 250 naira to 20,250 naira. I believe this is as a result of the system glitch some few days back. This has been upto six days now and the money in the wallet is yet to be reversed. What do you advice that we do?

If you have not been verified (given Matric number), login using your AFN and choose another study centre. If you have matriculation number, go to your current study center and apply for change of study centre. Make sure you have a copy of the completed form, upload the same to support.nou.edu.ng. Note that this won't be possible until after results are out.

Please what are the steps/procedure to change study center within the same state Enskynelson . We just discovered that there is a study center at Garki, Abuja which is very close to us compared to the Bwari study center which is very far from our current location.

The TMAs (CAs) will have to be retaken. She can add these exams to some courses from her 200L first semester. It is allowed. Her 200L first semester will be by coming semester which the exams will be around June. If she is strong by then, she can indeed take both these 3 exams alongside some or ALL the courses for her 200L first semester (the ALL depends on the total number of credits she has for 200L first semester and also her strength to carry all together).

If she doesn't take the exams, it will not count as carryover. There won't be result for the courses and she will just have to register the exams next semester or any other time. Congratulations 👏

Thank you for the great work you do Enskynelson. Please when you say register the exams, do you mean her CA scores will still remain for her to write the exam only. Then can she register for only the 3 courses by February set when the batch 2 or stream 2 will be writing their exams later in the year?. That way she starts 200 level by July. Sorry for bugging you with too many questions.

Enskynelson kindly advise what my wife needs to do in this case. My wife put to bed today and she has three papers left. She is in 100 level, second semester. She cannot sit for the remaining exams at this time. Her TMA scores for the three courses is not less than 26.

The online facilitation (lectures) has not started and hence you cannot login to the elearn portal. And please, don't depend on that the online facilitation as it's only some courses that are facilitated. Start studying your course materials because your doing well in your exams depends much more on that than the facilitation.

The credentials we submitted initially were: date of birth, original Ssce, admission letter, passport (taken with phone), remita receipt and I added her court affidavit for change of name (though not stated). One of your solenoid screens is almost plugged up because of dirty or old transmission fluid. The bad news is that the affected solenoid is not one of the two switches visible and easily accessible on the external part of your gearbox but the culprit is actually one of the other D, E or F solenoids INSIDE the gearbox housing itself.

To take care of the issue you’d have to drain out all yiur transmission fluid and drop your gearbox then open the casing to be able to reach the affected one to clean it up properly. Also don’t forget to clean your transmission oil filter while you’re in there.

Or

You can do your transmission drain and fill THREE TIMES to try and flush out the debris blocking the screen of the affected solenoid. Remember to use original atf dw1 fluid in your transmission.

Your luck is that this issue isn’t one that can grenade your gearbox because people have driven with the same symptoms for years without their gearbox packing up. It’s just the discomfort of always checking your rpms and lifting your foot to change the gear from 1 to 2 that’s the hassle plus the fact that you can’t zoom off from a stop light smartly because of it.

Please sir is there a video you can point us to on YouTube or possibly the right key words to search. I learn better watching videos and can easily replicate what I see. Thanks
