Webmasters / I Need Help With My Wordpress Site Please!!! by Hope6289(f): 7:26pm On Jun 12
I am not a WordPress expert but I manage the website of my hospital with my little knowledge and everything has been going well until recently I logged into WordPress recently and realized my classic editor had changed appearance, and worse of all it doesn't let me attach media on my pages/posts. It doesn't allow the normal interactive text. I thought it could be a corrupt plugin, I deactivated all and checked but it's still the same.
After I upload the image I want on the site, it doesn't allow me select it into a post or page. I'm frustrated and working with a deadline. I've tried troubleshooting on my own but now i need help. Please anyone that can help me

Health / Control Your Fart :) by Hope6289(f): 7:05pm On Jan 14, 2016
Has farting a lot become a habit you seem you can't control? I found these remedies helpful

Home Remedies for Flatulence
With little changes in diet and lifestyle, we can
always remove the foul smell from the gases we
release as farts.
1. Have food in a proper manner
This is so
that you digest them properly and do not
produce foul smelling farts.
-Always have smaller bites. Larger bites will
need you to open your mouth wide which
leads to more swallowing of air. Also, larger
bites mean more saliva produced while
chewing and more saliva means more
bubbles that trap air which goes into your
system.

-Eat slowly and chew your food thoroughly so
that all of what you eat gets digested. Do not
gulp your food.

-While having lots of water during the day is
good for health, do not have water half an
hour before and after meals. This interferes
into proper digestion of food.

-Avoid junk food and have healthy diet
complete with fiber rich fruits and
vegetables. Fibers are the great way to digest
food. Indigestion leads to formation of smelly
gases.

-Avoid too much of sulphur rich foods like beans, cabbage,
cauliflower, broccoli, yeast-laden foods such
as breads, cheese and even carbonated
drinks.

-Do not have cold drinks just after meals. If
you need to have something then have warm
healthy liquids such as certain herbal teas
Hot water or liquids help in
digestion thus eliminating even the bad
gases.

2. Avoid having gassy foods
The best thing for getting rid of gas is to avoid
gas forming foods. Avoid eating too much of the following foods if
you suffer a lot from flatulence:
Beans and other legumes
Wheat and wheat bran
Cabbage
Onions
bananas
Milk and other dairy products (they can cause
gas if you are lactose intolerant or have lesser
amounts of the enzyme called lactase needed
to digest dairy products)
Fatty meats
Fried foods
Cream sauces as well as gravies
Sugar substitutes (not all but many people
cannot absorb sorbitol contained in sugar-
free products)

3. Have lots of Ginger
Ginger helps stimulate saliva, bile and gastric
juice production and thus aid in better
digestion. This is due to many phenolic
compounds in ginger mainly gingerol and
shagaol as well as other volatile oils. This herb
cum spice has muscle relaxant properties which
help relieve gases trapped in the digestive
system. Sometimes, farting is accompanied
with bloating and intestinal cramps due to
tension and spasms in the gastrointestinal
tract. Ginger relieves these constrictions thus
helping in passing of trapped gas.
You can have
ginger in various ways- as ginger tea, by using
in cooking like making cookies or just grating a
little and adding to salads and stir fries, or you
can just chew a little ginger root as they are!

You dated her even when you knew "she looks older".
She's made sacrifices for you and even changing her religion whilst fighting off the rebellious tag by her family.
She, according to you, has been faithful to you.
What else do you need, dude? Yeah, NEED and not WANT.
How sure are you that the other supposed YOUNGER-LOOKING girls aren't being masked by the thick coat of EMULSION PAINT they smear on their faces?

I think your priorities are misplaced.

You are a seriously sensible person, God bless your head!
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: 5 Reasons Why Online Job Search Is A Waste Of Time by Hope6289(f): 4:33pm On Jul 19, 2015
I wouldn't call it a waste of time. It has really helped some people I know. Just make sure u're subscribed to a genuine one. I recommend hotnigerianjobs and myjobmag.com. Hot nigerian jobs get most of their advertisements from newspapers and companies so they're authentic. I just pray God will help every job seeker out there the way He has helped some of us.

Hope6289, do not listen to this tithe preacher. You are not under any obligation to pay 10% of your income to any church. You are however under obligation to 'give'. Giving and tithing are two different things. Decide what you want to give(to the church, to people in need, to the less privileged etc), from the bottom of your heart and give it heartily. I don't care if it is 5%, 10% or 20 or 50 or everything. Whatever you decide to give, is what is right.

They keep quoting malachi but fail to see 2corinthians9:7.

Do not put yourself in a straitjacket with 10% bullshit, please.

Congratulation and God bless you.

Lol, thank you. But I'm one of those Christians who believe in tithing, I'm okay doing it alongside giving. God bless u too

Jobs/Vacancies / Finally A Job!!! by Hope6289(f): 4:07pm On Jun 16, 2015
When I finished my NYSC three years ago, I was so sure I was going to get a big job after. I was a fresh graduate with high aspirations. I didn't know I was going to go through the painful experience of job hunting. I wrote 14 aptitude tests, had 5 job interviews, I travelled a lot, spending money to write those tests, my heart was broken many times when I didn't get any feedback. Most times the positions were given to people who had 'leg'. I was determined not to keep staying at home so I went to teach in a Primary school. It was plenty stress & little pay but it was something. With my friends getting jobs, I felt stuck and depressed. Today God has blessed me with a verrrrrrry good job, I'm still so dazed I can't believe it. Just want to encourage the job seekers out there, don't give up, keep trusting God and applying. You don't know which one would click. God bless y'all

Health / Benefits Of Sleeping On The Floor by Hope6289(f): 1:08pm On Apr 25, 2015
I noticed lately that I enjoy taking a mat and sleeping on the floor than on my mattress, especially days I come back home after a really stressful day and my whole body is aching me. I feel so restless on the bed but on the floor, I sleep so soundly, it even cures my insomnia sometimes, lol.

Decided to google about this and it was quite interesting to find out there are health benefits for sleeping on the floor once in awhile.

1) Better blood circulation because the bones will support the weight
2) Mattresses mess up our alignment because we sink in. Sleeping on a hard surface can reshape the back and realign the body
3) For some people (like me), it can help to cure insomnia

So once in awhile, get off your plush mattress and sleep on the floor. You may actually enjoy it.

Romance / Re: Ladies Am I The Only One Afraid Of Sexx? by Hope6289(f): 9:31pm On Apr 19, 2015
Used to be so terrified of sex. Had to google it and was so relieved to see most girls hv that fear. The fear of penetration for the first time, fear of doing it wth d wrong person, etc. I found out that the best thing is to wait for the right time with the right guy and it will just flow. Not everyone starts out with a great sex life, but as the love and intimacy grows, u'll realize u love it. So wait till d right time and I hope that right time is when u get married 2d man u luv.

Religion / Re: Learning About Holy Spirit by Hope6289(f): 12:56pm On Apr 18, 2015
The HolySpirit is God with us and in us to guide us into the truth, counsel us, comfort us and interceed for us.

He is the one that makes the written word you read become the living word you hear speaking to your heart.

He convicts you of sin, exposes your hidden motives. He is the reason the word of God is described as living and active.

In order to receive Him, all you have to do is ask and believe. To hear from him depends on how you build your relationship with him by diligent study and obedience of scripture, prayers and faith.

Many of us haven't gotten to the point that we can hear him audibly and physically with our ears but he speaks to the heart through your spirit. You will know his voice when he speaks, but your spirit should be born again to hear him.

There was this morning of the day I wanted to travel I woke up and after reading my bible, I heard it clearly in my spirit to continue praying a particular bible verse (ps 141:10) until I got home. I did it not knowing I'll be involved in an accident that day. I slept throughout the accident and woke up alive and well. I remembered that verse immediately. I knew God was with me.

You can also read John 16:13, Rom 8:26, Lk 11:13
