![]() Pain brings the best in us, apparently! Na hunger go reset our factory settings. Kudos to Jigawa. There's more to be done: 1. Tinubu should rejig our security architecture. Our farmers must be protected. 2. Sign into law the death penalty for kidnappers. 3. The rail lines connecting the south to the north must be revitalized. We need our local cargo flights in operations. We have cargo airports scattered across the federation. 4. The security checkpoints on our roads must stop taxing our truck drivers. Tinubu get these done. 5. Then we can start training our farmers and subsidizing mechanized farming equipments. 6. The FG should engage the private sectors and foreign investors into setting up large scale mechanized farms in Nigeria. Truth be told, we can never feed the nation with our current ways of farming, talk less of producing extra for export. 7. From there, we can start building value chains - adding more values to our agric product before exporting them. States government can borrow a leaf from the Lagos State Government. I don't know why each state doesn't have an agricultural hub by now. State governments should wake up. |
Reacting to this news, the President General of the Nigerian Football Supporters Club, Dr. Rafiu Ladipo, thanked the Tinubu-led Federal Government for the morale booster ahead of the Final game in Abidjan. He also promised the members of NFSC are ready to unleash their authentic passion on Sunday to rally round the Super Eagles players on field, from start to finish.![]()

aswani:Lmaoooo you dey mind them. Osibanjo would have been the butter to their bread 🤣 |
ogbe88:Na you father be dunce. |
firearcher:Ogun state in particular! The state is an embarrassment. |
boxypane:Can you imagine?! Just to collect money and pay workers is an Herculean task for them. Zero policies, zero initiatives, zero wealth creation, nothing! Nigeria! One fact we Nigerians always forget is that Lagos, Kaduna, Kano, Rivers states could have decided to become redundant like others, if they so chose to. |
From my observation, everyone disagreeing with the OP just want to blame Tinubu. They don't care that the state governments aren't working. We are not ready. Lol. You can blame Tinubu/FG and still hold your governors accountable - it's not that hard. For them, it's better that Nigeria is destroyed beyond repair so they can do the victory lap dance because their failure Irupete Obi lost deservingly. Lol I'm confident Asiwaj Bola Ahmed Tinubu will get things right. He has made the hardest decisions needed to steer the economy of this country aright. The political will is there. I'm certain we will start getting positive results of his policies by next year. Then Irupete Obi go chop his second breakfast come 2027. You lots and jump and nack your heads on the iroko tree. ![]() |
boxypane:Bruh, it's amusing to see. It's like the state governments used juju on Nigerians. Lagos state is there for all to see. No week goes by without a handful of positive news from there. Yes, Lagos is richer than other states by far, but that doesn't stop other states from thinking out of the box to drive their economy and generate revenue. For most states the cycle is like this: FAAC > State Government > Use FAAC to pay salary > Wait for the next FAAC. Little wonder Nigerians leave these redundant states behind to run to Lagos, Port Harcourt, Kaduna, Kano, Abuja to make a living. The simplest way states can increase revenue is by boosting agriculture because we are blessed with massive arable land; but nada, they still won't get to work. |
Lol... Too many dull folks on this thread. You can't even engage them. Even in advanced countries like the USA, states government play their part in driving the economy. |
We've started asking questions. We are getting somewhere. Hopium: |
Mtchew. I will just leave this here. Hopium: |
Lol. Their crop of politicians, leaders, governors speaks otherwise. Until they start pushing folks like Dave Umahi to the forefront of national politics, they are smart asses. Lmaooooo People who packed a failure like Irupete Obi to govern a complex country like this are not smart! You mean these guys in the comments below are smart? You mean the people being controlled and ruled by one groundnut from far away Finland is smart? Maybe smart now has a new meaning. Lol. If we talk about chest beating, grandstanding, delusions, ehn ehn, them be undisputed champions. ![]() People wey Obi look finish talk say na only hero beer dem deserve all the days of their life; and truthfully, if you examine the way they think and behave, you can't help but conclude they've been drinking from their mother's womb ![]() There are the easiest to scam among the tribes in Nigeria. Epon Ojukwu scammed them. Epon Obi is carrying them to where Dem no know now. Tah! Smartness moves in parrallel with them.No be only smart. Una dey smart and you no get a single city wey fit compete with Osogbo in Osun State. Una dey smart and you no fit do anything economically except you run to Lagos - little wonder you all hate Ilu Eko and her leaders so much. ![]()

greenermodels:Ignoramus! Taking a leaf out of the dullard book, words for words. The Iru Pete Obi you quoted doesn't even understand what consumption to production mean. The man who failed to actualize that economic value in his state for 8 years. For your information, what the government is doing presently is moving the economy from consumption to production. It's why there's so much pain. |
crossfm:Lol. You will learn. In trading, there's a time you take profit and move on. That's similar to what the bank is saying. Naira has crashed enough. With the new policies in place, the rebound is near our door step. Like they said, don't buy the dollar to speculate - only dumb money will buy the dollar now; the meat of the move is done. Don't play! |
chopnaira:It's becoming annoying at this point. |
This Peter Obi and LP didn't learn shit in the last election. This is the man some dunderheads claim to be their messiah - a messiah that still thinks like a baby politician. With a 30-man train, including himself, their only governor in the Nigeria, and Chinedu - their last governorship candidate in Lagos; this massive squad for a tiny, single HoR seat *in Lagos* 1. PO isn't ready to beat the tribalism allegations 2. LP and Igbos aren't ready to beat the allegation that they are obsessed with Lagos 3. Northerners and the SW are watching; many have become wiser to see the gameplan of LP as an SPV for a igbo presidency. 4. No way they are beating Gbaja in Surulere 5. The impeding defeat will further signal that LP and PO are lightweight in the political arena. No better way to further demarket your political power and strength. 6. PO is in a haste and too desperate. 7. Again, PO didn't learn shit in the last cycle. Same template, same strategy, zero evolvement. |
Botragelad:Absolutely! It's the second best espionage series I've ever seen, after Homeland. |
Botragelad:A lot of scenes similar to this. When I saw the YouTube clip, Fauda was what came to mind. I can't wait for season 5 next year. I'm sure we will get some inside view of what went down with this current Gaza war. |
![]() Joe Ajaero dey voice say dem wan run am street. Nigerians are only ready for the betterment of the country when they start pressuring their governors to be transparent and accountable. The governors receive massive security votes from the FG, even more during this current administration, after the subsidy removal. But everyone would rather face the FG while forgetting their shares from the usual fuel subsidy are now in the hands of their state governors. For context, Tinubu government now pays 2-3 times more FAAC to the state and local governments compared to previous administrations. The increments are yields from the subsidy removal. So, why tf can't state governments increase their minimum wages? How can we have 36 states and only 2-3 are working? Lol. Since everyone has the liberty to run to Lagos to hustle the daily bread, let's keep deceiving ourselves. Gosh! We are only smart on paper! |
Fiscus105:Na only you get the reason for this praise and worship by Senator Ndume. Him dey run PR after big hands don warn am in the hidden places. Our youths don't understand the protocols and power that be in our political space. Their naivety is why the old guards are still out muscling them. Lol. |
gratiaeo:Lol. He will turn it around, near. All what's happening is exactly what he said will happen during the camping. I guess folks like you didn't listen; you were just focused on balablu and bulubla. He's very well on track. |
Get off the road, Pasta! |
A lot of you guys need your brains examined. You guys can never be satisfied; always finding something to fault. The guy does his job - you said so too, what's your business if he decides to goes to Times Square to promote his service deliveries? Tunji Ojo is the best interior minister this country has ever produced. He can go to the heavens to run PR, it's of zero importance to Nigerians. The man does his job; everyone can testify to this - that's all that's important. Btw, if he didn't propagate his work, how will you (I mean you!) know what excellent public service delivery is like? When/if you're appointed as a political public servant, do your work and don't propagate it, we will see how that ends for you. Also, the ignoramus that you are can't decode that he's running his PR towards contesting for the Governorship of Ondo State. When great men achieve amazing feats, the only thing people like you do is speculate and run mouth. That's all you know how to do! |
hedonido:Ignoramus! I guess the NSE is rigging too. You will soon trend #AllEyesOnTheNSE Olodo. Chest beater. |
yusufu16:The Nigeria stock market is on a bull trend. The elites knew what they were doing when they opted for Asiwaju. |
hedonido:People don't know it's the Nigeria stock market that's pushing our billionaires up the networth ranking. Lmaooo. If you bought/hold quality Nigerian stocks, your networth would have increased too. Ignoramus! |
N3TRAL:There's is a study that shows the black race has the lowest IQ in the whole world. |
Scammer. Incompetence. "Payday" indeed. |
femicyrus:Here we meet again on one of his basic IQ posts. ![]() |
Voiceofthestree:If he can't discipline himself, just tell him to start saving medical funds if he's still young. |
